Wednesday - Summer Birthday celebration

Post by OKay »

Although many of us are experiences freezing cold temps, it is hot summer time in LynLee part of the world.

Happy Birthday LynLee!!

We could toss off our winter coats and virtually go celebrate LynLee birthday at the beach.

Anyone need a Beach Ball?

Thinking of Sadie as she is going through her surgery today.
And thinking of MT and DH as they go through the recovery from his surgery.

Today is an all-day Master Gardening class for me. I will be an hour drive away so DH will keep his phone handy in case the school calls and will take care of LO after school until I arrive home.

Or there's always a "polar plunge" somewhere. Not for me I guess -even here in sunny??? Florida. Happy Birthday, LynLee!

I'm up slowly this morning. Realized I'd been dreaming about dShelley and she came back to life. Had a good cry when I woke up. So now....on with my day.

Best wishes today for Sadie (sure know what she'll go through) and for Mr. MT.

DS-A called a little while ago to see how dh is doing. He is slowly doing better it seems. He had a couple of days that were back down, but we'll see. Sure the Dr will order this more extensive test when dh gets back up there in about 2 1/2 months or so. Winter's flying fast here.

Going to spend my morning working on the Council minutes and hope the annual reports come back to me to be compiled for the final run. Then I'll still have the pages of financial reports to do, once I receive them. Hopefully that will happen tomorrow or Friday.

I love those doctors who will use surgery as a "last resort", Harriet. Sometimes they will try other methods first to avoid the knife. I respect that most times.

Happy Birthday Lynlee!

Very strange. I have a little jot of energy going this morning. I haven't done anything with it, afraid if I move it will seep away? I need to get out and run errands today since the temp will be up in the 40s today. Yesterday I felt like I just couldn't leave the house because I was so cold.

I am going to work to the TOTH starting now....anyone want to join me? then will start again at :15 after and work several rounds, I hope.

I have sun screen found it yesterday when I was cleaning. :P ♥♥♥ Happy birthday LynL. ♥♥♥ :P I hope you get to do something special.

We had a bit of rain in the night over frozen ground I was careful when I went out to do hen chores.

Journaling done used a felt tipped pen I came across several while I was cleaning my office yesterday. I cleared out a box for dgd to use for dolls and small stuff.

Kitchen counters cleared and stuff put away from party, folding chairs back to garage from party, refilled meds containers, some other small misc things.

Yesterday the hot water heater issues meant that I had to move a couple of boxes of decorative items that were never unpacked from the old house - or probably I rummaged through, took out what I had room to use and left the rest boxed. I worked some on emptying them last night and this morning. Need to find a place for them to live or let them go. Decided that I would let one of dd's pottery items from camp go - I think I have two more that are more original so don't need to save all.

Will continue at :15 after. Temp outside is 19 degrees now, will walk ddogs later and do errands in afternoon.

I may have reached the end of the internet. :?

There seems to be nothing new under the sun in the way of art for birthday greetings. I think we've seen it all, so I may be slightly more subdued 8-) in bday greetings in 2014.

But I found one of those heart-shaped candy boxes in the store and opened it and we can share in honor of

So hopeful that Sadie is doing well today and the surgery is super successful.

Hope Mr. Emptynester is so ordinary that they send him straight home out of boredom.
