Worked to TOTH again. I'm all over the place - looked up an address and addressed a note, gathered recycling into plastic bag, took out garbage, rebooted laundry, made up the bed half way, yes, the mind of an ADD homemaker. (Look, a squirrel! )

To continue at :15 after, still need to s2s and lots more....

edited to take out link with T-shirt: "They say I have ADD but....look! A squirrel!"

Good morning all!

The ship turned the clocks back last night so I'm now -4 hours from home (11 at home is 7 on board.) On the other hand, I'm an hour closer to ds! Ship's time is going to be erratic this trip as we are (were) supposed to cross the date line 3 times. But last night our Fanning Island stop was canceled due to storm damage to their infrastructure. So I'm not sure if that changes our route.

Since Fanning Island fell in the middle of 2 days at sea, Island, 3 days at sea, we now have another 6 days at sea stretch. That's isn't as good. Today is Wednesday and I don't get onto land until Sunday and I'm already looking forward to that because our patio door whistles when we are underway so I'm looking forward to quiet in the cabin.

Last night's dinner was a fiasco. They had given us the menu the night before and all day we looked forward to roast beef. Then we heard the restaurant was closed for a private function but we would go to the Italian restaurant that usually requires reservations since it was open. Got there and discovered they were only offering the Italian menu. We don't choose to eat Italian so left and had room service instead. So no socializing but we did get the roast beef (room service always offers whatever the restaurant is offering that night plus its regular menu.)

Fortunately, the concert was wonderful. And Hyperion Knight (that's his given name from birth!) will be performing 2 more times before he leaves the ship in Hawaii.

My knee is very sore today so I need to do a round of physio stretches before breakfast arrives. I've switched to room service breakfast because it is easier for me to start my day without having to be completely dressed and ready for the day.

So when I go to the page Twins' linked (after getting to see the funny) I get an "aw snap!" and the page has become unresponsive. So I guess while the internet was paying attention to providing the page to me, it must have gotten distracted. (Look! A squirrel!)

Car to mechanic. Taillight fixed, inspection underway.

Outdoor chores done.

2nd to last prescription picked up. Last one is still held up, so I'm one-at-a-timing these errands and it's very frustrating. We have this sort of problem every January as the insurance-to-pharmacy communication lines hit their glitches.

Pint of water, half a large apple. Now super hungry! So brunch is up next.

Morning y'all...
Wanted to wish Lynnlee a very merry b'day.

I got my flu shot yesterday and as usual don't feel so hot today. This is why I don't usually get one but since I plan to see my mom in Feb. didn't want to take a chance on the flu. Subbing puts me in direct contact with sick kids who are sent to school by parents.

Gonna take it easy today, but expect to feel better, hopefully, by tomorrow.

Waving to ya'll

Took another route through last round of work. I got hungry, so piled some lasagne into a plate and did some things online while I ate.
Ta-das:
-registered mother at new website for meds orders
-emailed her doc re: needed meds refills
-ordered a second new set of sheets for my bed using a coupon
-have called and talked to a company that does set up for streaming of services online
-email to temple secretary, who had failed to follow up on the streaming info for six weeks, and just told me she "might" get to it this week
-email to guy who is webmaster re placing streaming on our website

I really must go take my shower and head out on errands. Probably should walk ddogs first....temp is up to 32 degrees.

:D :D HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LYNLEE!!! :D :D

I woke up later than I should have. 10 a.m. :o My cardigan b-day sweater's on the UPS out for delivery! :!: It's so odd because last night, it'd been changed to a Friday the 10th delivery from Wed./today's delivery, for some reason! :?:

Hoping all goes well and lots of prayers for Sadie and her surgery today.

Dgd turns 1 year old today, too. :D

The weather's wet and grey here. I heard from one MN gal how they're warming up and it's 30* below zero instead of 45* below 0 there.

Twin', You sound very productive today. :D

Cowinkie, I'm glad you got your flu shot, but am sorry you're not feeling 100% today. :( Get better soon.

Harriet, You've had a busy day so far, too. :!:

Kathryn, I'll say a prayer about your knee. I'm glad physio helps you, too. Enjoy your cruise. :D

Nancy, I did my traffic floor areas and dumped trash last night. In the FOCUS room, I washed all the glass in the Phoenix glass entry door and the sides and doors in the china cabinet we keep in the wide entry. (I have 1 in the dining room, too.) But when I got it, I couldn't as well as get rid of the cabinet Dmil picked out and gave to me for 1 b-day gift.

Your hens keep you busy! :D

MT, Hope Mr. Mt is doing fine today and gets to go home soon, too. Hospital patients seem to only be able to get REAL REST at home! :!: So many interruptions in the hospital!

I'm going to finish my coffee now, look around the boards a bit longer, and then have a very late breakfast. I need to work on a story I've started, but it's from the male POV and it's new to me to write like this, so the story will either be a success or be a big flop! :!:

Yes, we have an online headline here that we "Finally Cracked the Freezing Mark" and went over 32 like Twins'. I wish we weren't immediately headed backward on that within an hour, but hey, I'll take the blessing I can get. Oh, btw, very gratified to find Sammie sleeping soundly this a.m., so deep inside her doghouse that I hadn't seen her and was searching. So she appreciates our house renovation!

Lunch is eaten (too much to call it brunch - I must have really been hungry) and the car is home. A mechanic called me "sweetie". Taken aback a little by the word "sweetie" to a woman customer in 2014, yes (that is SO last century), but not shocked. That could be something everyone in his family says. However, I was Delighted to be able to tell it to HRH. ;) "Oh yeah? Does he want me to come down there?" He loves a chance to pretend he's jealous, but it's just pretense.

Anybody else doing this?
I hope my body (or is it mind) will soon admit this hard freeze is passing. I just can't seem to accomplish as much as I plan. I find myself hugging myself and sitting, rather tightly wound, with legs crossed and shoulders hunched. I look around and wonder when I stopped moving. :?
