That haircut's adorable, Harriet, and easy to care for, too! I used to wear my hair like that when I worked at an exclusive dept. store, which was a division of Neiman Marcus. She'll love her new "do"!
Good for her, too!
I'm getting ready to write a Conga list to work on this week, especially before BFF & her DH come Wed. afternoon bearing a gift and b-day card. It's sort of a milestone b-day.
Isn't turning 62 a sort of "milestone" because then you're a Senior Citizen and get S.S.?
I kind of "think" it is, but don't know.
I kind of don't feel OLD either!
I just got my hair cut into a chin-length bob, so look younger, too, especially if I remember to dress cute and WEAR MY MOISTURIZER!!!
Wrote Ddil's letter w/the 3 hats to mail off to dgd tomorrow and finished DD's letter and will ship her Seattle hauntings book back to her tomorrow, too. I put all my crochet mess away and a stack of magazines on my end table.
When BFF comes to visit- I CRISIS COMPANY CLEAN! Her home is like pages out of "House Beautiful," so wonderfully decorated, so beautiful, and nice.
So I try to put my best foot forward when they come. If I get my work done before my Wed. b-day, it'll be my gift to me and I can relax (a bit!) afterwards.
I hope the weather improves for the week, too.

Nice visit here with dfam#2, even if it was short. Tomorrow is dgd18's first day back at school for second semester. Remembering the discussion about schools here I asked about the programs here. Our schools here do have programs on their campuses for seniors. Ddil said anyone may apply but the students are accepted by lottery choice. Had dgd signed up in her junior year she would have graduated h.s. with an AA degree also.
I wanted to say that it was nice to hear from Sadie. I'm glad you are getting along and hope you continue to heal well.
((Dee)), I shall keep dh in my prayers!
Harriet, what a cute haircut for dd. I'm sure it would just suit her to a "t"!
Ivy, your hats for dgd sound delightful.
Lucy, I have to say I love having the pictures in real life also!
Downton Abbey tonight was quite surprising!

Re: Serene Sunday with Summer Birthday
Happy Birthday Lisa.I do hope a cooler change comes in soon. And you get to have a special day of your own choosing too,
Yoga and physio today. It has been put to me that I really attempt all exercises for neck and back daily. My shoulder made progress while physio was away so that is good, though a mixup with some one else calling in to canc their appointment today, had physio receptionist think it was me cancelling mine.So my time slot was short changed as he wasn't expecting me, and just happened to walk past waiting room 15 min after appointment time slot and saw me there.
Talked to receptionist who reminded me of the 20 min rule at computer - then get up do something else.
I needed to leave yoga early to get there on time....
picked up few essential groceries on the way home. also petrol.
My timer is about to go.
