I have unsubbed from another email. Getting them sorted out whittled down. So why do they send another email to confirm that you unsubbed?

We made mini bread pans of pumpkin bread it is in the oven now.

Light bulb moment the baby's mom works nites and the baby is on that shift so when she comes it is like morning to her and THAT is why she rarely naps here.

Mimi pumpkin bread loaves have been wrapped to go with when they leave today.

Collected 15 eggs yesterday h. Is getting more requests and could sell all of them at work sigh ! We need a plan not sure how many we use here I keep the pullet eggs back for us to eat but deviled eggs are out for a bit I am nearly out of mayo.

It poured rain but the sun is out again. I finished my second book so have picked a third to put in my bag. I carry a tote bag with sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, book and shawl. It is cold in the theatre and hot outside but this way I don't have to run back and forth between the cabin and public areas.

I'm in the theatre now, waiting to listen to the interview with the captain while our cabin is being cleaned.

My goodness, it is cold enough already. Windy here and I was freezing to death while doing my errands.

All that housework. Hmmm... I sorta lost my get-up-and-go after I got up and went.

Harmony -- I know dmom's concerns ARE real... and she does need to have all this stuff taken care of... I don't mean to sound insensitive. I know I have been blessed with really good health, so far, and I really don't know how to relate to someone like dmom. And it's not just our age difference. By the time she was 40 she had already had a hysterectomy, and all these other troubles were making their presence known by the time she was my age. The worst thing I've ever had, I guess, is a bad sinus/allergy attack.
And dh can't understand AT ALL... b/c no one in his family is the type to "run to the doctor" -- not even his 91 year old mother! Even when we know she probably needs to go, she refuses.
Hope you feel better soon and nerves quit jangling!!!


Nancy -- baby being on night shift. LOL. That's the story w/ds, ddil, dgs. And of course, dh and I might as well be on night shift, ourselves. But I need a nap now, actually.

Anyone with 7 kids, who can do ANYTHING except just SURVIVE for 24 hours, is certainly amazing in my book, too, Ivy!

Polar vortex -- again? Stay where you belong Mr. P. Vortex!! (Why do I assume it is a he?) From the little I understand, this means the the polar jet stream is off-kilter, not sure about other jet streams. . . .It looks like we'll have some cold days next week, but nothing highly unusual. Well, maybe the lows are pretty low.

DD is fixing dinner and I should be out there helping. In a minute or 2............

Dh's Dr. called today because they (nor we) have heard from the specialists office scheduling an appointment. The Dr. he's seen in the past for an endoscopy now has someone in with him who does this special test. Dr. is hoping to get dh in with him SOON.

I hate to think of the colder weather coming and dh going north. He's going to freeze, no doubt. I'm hoping he can make it to our RV and be able to get in. My db has been researching, trying to find the parents of our fraternal grandfather. I mentioned the 'Family Bible" which he said today he didn't know existed. (Until I reminded him of the time he tried to take it to school & I wouldn't let him -then he remembered). I haven't looked at it in years but I think it's in our RV. Probably should be down here in an even temperature. (At least not freezing). So want dh to see if he can find it at our RV and bring back with him. Barring that (his coming back), DS-A & family are coming in February 10th but not till 10pm (in Sanford, FL). They plan to spend 10 days at Disney properties so it's our plan right now to go get them at the airport & deliver them to their hotel. BUT we're figuring it's going to make it at least 1/2a.m. before we get back home. DDIL offered to try for a shuttle but it's $70/round trip per person X 5. Ouch. So we're going to look into rentals and see what's available at that hour, if anything. I feel like Kathryn scheduling a trip (and it's not even mine). Didn't want to say anything to ddil till we find out something.

Haven't heard anything about ds-R yet today. Although dh did tell his Dr (also DS's) what they found and he was pretty concerned about that.

Hi everybody! I'm loving the updates and pics from Kathryn.

Well, as mentioned when we were home briefly earlier today... my second mammo results are in and I'm clear!!! Funny how a 6 letter word can bring such relief. Benign! Yay!! Yes, there was a happy dance here earlier.

No, Dee, this is not the weather forecast I wanted to hear for Mr. DeeClutter's trip.

Well, sixteen days from now, as I was joking around, the SuperBowl is planned for outdoors at The Meadowlands in New Jersey near New York City. I hope they manage that without problems from the Polar Vortex.

I glanced at our weather forecast here and we have the dreaded words, "icy mix", beginning Tues Jan 28 or maybe Mon Jan 27 evening, and continuing off and on for the week. All the temps, both lows and highs, which were consistently at or possibly above normal, have changed to way below normal. And the icy mix comes back Wed of the next week for us, so... mutter, mutter, mutter.

Re: Some weather humor, polar vortex is a he because males typically will not ask for directions there must be a glitch in his gps!

Hens are back from the other lawn, their night light is on inside roosts are back up now dgd helped with their afternoon feeding.

The baby is gone dgd is here after her bath snug in covers on the couch. H. Is home napping in the recliner had his dinner now I need to figure out what I'll be eating.

Wow, Harriet, this winter weather is just not leaving us alone this season, is it? It has been colder here in FL than the last few years.

It looks like we will not have any company here this weekend. Ds#1 has to work 11am - 8pm tomorrow. Dfam#2 will be in Orlando for dgd12's middle school band competition and also both dgds highland dance group competition. They asked dh if we would go up to their house to let their ddog, Sugar, out and see that she has food and water. That means a trip this evening, three trips tomorrow and at least one on Sunday. We don't mind at all, especially since ds stays here for our ddogs when we are away! We would bring their dog here, but I'm not so sure our dogs would get along with Sugar; don't want to take any chances!

We decided to go out for a little while this afternoon. Stopped at the p.o. for stamps and I ended up getting five books, all different designs. That should keep me for almost a year as I use only a few per month. Thank you to those who mentioned the raise in postage, Harriet, Nancy and maybe Ivy?

We also went to the brand new W-M near us. We have been waiting for this store for a few years now; some of the people in that neighborhood were against it saying it would make traffic unbearable. That's a high traffic road to begin with since it's a direct route from the beaches across the bay to Tampa, traffic going into the store won't be that much more noticeable! Anyway, the company kept the property and waited for the "right time" to propose building there again. The store is 1 mile exactly from our house, which will save a lot in gasoline and travel time for shopping. It is a nice store also; it even has a Subway, a photo lab and *a fabric department*, oh and groceries also! The floors in this store are polished cement instead of asphalt tile and look very nice. The parking lot is huge, but still was filled almost full when we were there.
