I need to get moving! I've been up since 7:15 or so but I've been reading and on the computer. I got in last night around 8:45 from visiting my dsis. She is still not great but that seems to be the status quo. I took her out for ice cream and we went for a drive - sunny day but cold.

After seeing her I stopped at the "town square" where there is a walking path and walked a couple of laps. Still only got in about 5300 steps yesterday 'cause I was in the car all day.

Today I need to p/u meals for dmom, visit her and refill her meds boxes, and hopefully get her to the attorney's office to sign the POA and medical directive. There is a neighborhood get together tonight but another event has taken precedence, need to let them know I'm not coming.

The computer hasn't been letting me on lately. Or I should say this site has been rejecting my IP address. Wish I could get a static IP so I wouldn't have this problem - but since I'm usually on a different cell tower each time I log on - it ain't gonna happen.

We have had a wonderful time here in the desert. We have two interesting neighbors - one with a balloon and one an ultra lite. They fly every morning about 7 so we spend time watching them launch. The winds have been very light so they don't travel very far. The balloon is a huge green envelope with panels of the people from Wizard of Oz, Dorothy, witch, etc. The gondola only holds two people but they seem to be having fun. It is interesting how they can circle the area just by using different altitudes.

This morning we are going to a friend's lot near where we used to live. We will be staying there 2 nights with full hookups so I'll be able to take more than a navy shower and do up the dirty dishes and clean up the rig before we get home. We will head back for the house on Saturday. Can't wait to see my new floor.

Best get moving as DH is packing up the TV antenna and getting ready to move.

EN I hear you I had the same trouble yesterday trying to post when I was down town sigh!

Laundry is rounded up and going, dumped trash, ex. Bike time now, hens have been fed.

Still didn't s2s but have answered several temple emails and tried to put to right a huge error on the part of the temple secretary. (She cc-ed a congregant for no reason on a confidential email regarding another member's charitable contribution. ) Also found out that largish check was written to rabbi and went into his discretionary fund w/o going through our books.

I took the dirty laundry to the laundry basket, made my side of the bed and got ready for the day. Feel "ucky" without deodorant and my under-breast anti-chaffing gel. TMI?

Wow, Twins, that's a huge mistake.

Read through, interesting couple of days here. Dee, I'm glad your DH got back safely. OKay, nice to hear things are still going well and horses were found.

Busy busy days here. Wed I started out paying bills first, then going to post office, blueprint office, lab with something from DH, 2 stops to pick up something for DH's job. Then up to jobsite for the rest of the day.

Got a load of groceries on the way home. Had to unload them and put away plus 4 coolers, and a carfull of stuff from jobsite. DH had moved trucks around to next job and I had to drive helper back up to get his truck to go home. We are about 35 minutes away from that job so it's not a quick trip.

Today I caught up on phone calls and messages.... canceled appointment for tomorrow as DH has decided to just go with the local dr. here and the procedure the way he does it.

In the middle of a deep cleaning of future "sick room", (though knowing DH he won't be in it much). Took apart the bed and washed mattress cover, the dust ruffle (hard to get off and back on that mattress is heavy!) and I washed the valance, the venetian blinds, and shined the window.

I'm also doing another bed and have that dustruffle in the washer, with blankets, etc., and a LOL (clothes) hanging outside. I have a lot of nervous energy so I'm using it, hoping I don't get burned out....

Going to take down the baby crib as probably noone will be using it and I'm going to move the eliptical into that space to get it out of the master... gotta keep going.... had hoped to get out to get a haircut but maybe tomorrow...

Back from car pool. Dgd is here, we made muffins she does most of the mixing and I put it in the oven for her. I made an ice cream pie. Lunch is done. collect eggs x

I need a break. DH came home and I helped him get lumber out of truck, pulled nails, and helped get up on rack.

Had to iron one of the dustruffles. It's more of an oxford cloth straight tailored ones and gets wrinkled. The other one is a soft cotton gathered one I made and those wrinkles fall out. Anyway, got that back on the bed and my back is sure feeling the strain of holding up the mattress etc. I put my down blanket on that bed. I've been feeling the cold at night.

Washed the velour cover on my wedge pillow (by hand) and have it laying out to dry. Not trusting to put it in the dryer because if it shrinks I'll never get it back on the wedge.

Going to make myself sit for a bit. Glad I have stuff for dinner fixed and don't have to do much cooking.

Nancy, hope DH's foot recovers quickly. I know what a worry it is for us to have our DH's out working while they're not well. I think about that all the time. I guess after mine gets "fixed" I'll have more to worry about...it would be disastrous if he'd ever fall.

GOOD AFTERNOON, EVERYONE! [/color]

I have good news to share! My once terribly fibrous breasts are no longer fibrous at ALL! My technician said I have very fatty breasts, which is good news and whatever it is that I've been doing, to keep it up! They are:
1- Losing weight, about 25 Lbs. since my last mammogram or more Lbs. than that.
2- I've cut back on coffee consumption! I used to have 4 - 5 caffeine drinks daily!
I'm so happy with what she said, the mammo test didn't kill me with pain this time, too, so another "Happy Dance" thing for me today!

DH then took me to Joann's and they did not have 100% plastic canvas nylon yarn there. However, I bought 2 one-Lbs. skeins for afghans for the 2 youngest grandsons' afghans and they were on sale $6.99 each!

Nancy, I noticed Joann's had a display of Seahawks' colored yarns and material at their door entrance, too! I already have the 2 colors for me. Oh, how I wish they had the yarn on your side. Did you find some in your stash?

Then, DH took me to the Dollar Tree, I bought 5 list pads, in nice patterns, sophisticated-looking, and they'd remodeled the store, it was so wide open, spacious and clean. Next stop was the Mexican restaurant so DH could spend his later-received b-day money, I ate 5 tortilla chips, 1/2 deluxe Mecican taco salad with grilled chicken meat and brought 1/2 salad home. I'll eat on it for dinner, with fruits/veggies on the side.

My fortune cookie I ate yesterday, from a 1/14/14 lunch, said today I'd hear good news and to use it wisely, too. So it must be from the less caffeine, weight loss, causing no fibrous breasts anymore. I'm so grateful and happy! The test didn't hurt like it used to, too.

I got a thank you card in the mail with a note, for our neighbor, to thank them for the good visit, for showing me their new truck and for the new top they gave me. I told BFF that I'm slowly working on scrubbies for her and her dmom, too.

I'm getting ready to write a list of detailed cleaning on the master bedroom/bathroom, as its on the FOCUS week I've been missing up to current day. But I did wash the mattress pad and sheets that bedroom FOCUS week. Am getting ready to write a.m.'s "to do" list, too, and plan ahead because Fri. is a busy day. There's a specific blog I go to, and other Fri. on-line things I do, too. We have beautiful sunshine, too. I'm sore from exercise yesterday, but will set my timer for an hour to clean and after that, I'll do yoga/Pilates again. Am trying to follow dr.'s orders and keep muscles strenghening and keep more active, rather than the "Sedentary Soul" I've been.

The restaurant we ate at was decorated for Valentine's Day, too! ♥ ♥ It made it romantic.

Within 5 hours of unsubscribing from Entirely Pets, I got an email from another pet product company, out of the blue. It is a reputable company I've heard vets mention - Dr.s Foster and Smith - and my ddad's kennel used to get their catalog. But I am not an online customer of theirs. What a coincidence... ... hmmm... ... Makes one wonder if it is a competitor or an affiliate, but it looks as though they share email info.

It will be so cold here tomorrow morning that the schools will be on a 2-hour delay. Gave the chickens some tomato today, just to keep their spirits up! At least they got some sun today.

The delivered package was not a computer, it was a tv. I was confused, but it turns out this is part of the plan. It will be both our television and our computer monitor in the LR. We haven't done this before because it always seemed wasteful, since we had the extra monitor and the tv was fine for tv, you just couldn't see a computer screen clearly enough on it to read well. But it has always been more cluttered looking than it could have been. Finally there was a price on a high-def tv that he deemed sensible, so here we are.

So there has been a huge clearing/cleaning/dismantling push here today. Dstepson, HRH and I worked for hours on this project, frankly. It's been pleasant work at times, and I was grateful for the manpower to get furniture away so I could clean the area's baseboards, etc., but it's been starting to wear on nerves with the set-up. Dstepson is still here, and thankfully he and his ddad get along well and allow each other to fuss and then pretend it didn't happen! Dstepson treated us to Thai food take-out, but I didn't have any.

There's a new DVD player that goes along with all this, so I've had my first experience with a remote control that has a red "netflix" button right on the remote control... huh? I am so far behind the times, I guess. I think of netflix as a company among a lot of companies competing in a certain arena, not a "given" because of the purchase of a DVD player.

They also rearranged things in our bedroom so that the elliptical is at the french doors now. HRH thinks this will be a way to look outdoors when he wants or watch tv when he wants.
