Lucylee, I knew exactly what it was when the water turned cold. Didn't do a great job of washing everything but I did get rinsed off well. I didn't get conditioner on my hair either so it's extra fly-away today and I've got it pulled back completely.

Dd may be coming home tonight. She texted me yesterday about attending the funeral tomorrow and returning to K-town tomorrow night. When dkids were young, this woman did a lot of songleading within the Jewish community for children's activities. I should look at our scrapbook and see if we have photos that include her. She had an amazing heart for everyone and a beautiful voice.

Ordering pizza now...and back to book.

Good for you, lucylee. I'm thinking of buying some herba shine online because I had to go back to the one you use, I think natural instinct? Noticed you mentioned a 2-week-later touch-up, which I believe is unique to them. It's harder to use - you have to have damp hair and that doesn't sound like it's so bad, but adds another layer of difficulty, time, and effort to get your hair rinsed and dried to damp first. The herba shine doesn't require damp hair so it's faster and less tiring, and I believe the color is better. But it has been discontinued, which is so frustrating - this is the second product for hair color that's been discontinued when I discovered I liked it. The company insists the only reason was sales. And I can only trust them and believe that there's nothing wrong with the product, but why in the world wouldn't something that's easier and faster have good sales?

Watched Sherlock for the first time, the first episode of first season. Very good. We had just never gotten started watching before now. Wish I had read A Study in Scarlet before seeing this, but that was the next one dd15 was going to get to after The Hound of the Baskervilles for English, and then had requirements to read other things and didn't have time. Honestly, I didn't realize any of these were loosely based on Doyle's books/stories, but assumed they were all just newly written mysteries. I'd like to read The Dancing Men (short story) before seeing the second one, based on it, but the connection to that one is pretty loose, so not necessary I guess. And the third is based on many parts of various books. It's not until the fourth that the connection (to the short story, A Scandal in Bohemia) is so close that it might be fun to read ahead. We'll see.

Back from town SCORE! Got every thing on my list excet a 4 footed 5 qt. Crock pot. Yarn at Joanns was out of stock in the kind I wanted but they did have cotton so I got some of that and I saw the other granny while I was there wmart had the kind I wanted so I got that and can. Ix it in with my other that I have here I will have to look and see if I have white or not.

Found a use ex. Bike with arm thingie that move deciding if I need or want to take up any more floor space with that.

Book store a success but the one I had was like 15th in a series!

Heading to look for a crock pot replacement liner I may just get those foil things

Hi again everyone! The adoption clinic had THREE dogs adopted. One cat may get a home, but it is not one of my fosters. DD11 is in bed now. Today, I started the crochet project for my art teacher. She is trading me art classes for a jacket like my yellow one, but in purple. I am up to row 14 on one of the fronts (there are two front pieces, the back, and the two sleeves). Tomorrow will be Sunday school, church, Chinese food, then I don't know what. I think I will look and see if the library is open, but it is probably closed on Sunday. I know the nearer one is, but the further one may be open. House still looks like a bomb went off, but DD's room has had some attention.

Fixing the air filter seems to have gotten rid of the smell in the house. Thank goodness!!!
