Party was a roaring success! This little house was packed. Dh was surprised. :) People liked my little toast, although I was a little embarrassed b/c my face was so hot -- the room was quite hot with all those bodies. I could feel my face just glowing. We had a TON of food, thanks largely to dfriend S2. It was kind of funny, for the most part, the University people were in the living room and the church people were in the kitchen. Dh helped clean up.

LOL at lucylee's little omission!!

Food: I cook from scratch too. It sounds like most of us here do. In terms of pricey meat, I do buy fresh fish every 2 or so weeks, usually salmon or trout. We also cook with shrimp maybe 1-2x a month. Once in a while I'll buy a more expensive cut of red meat, but we don't eat a lot of red meat, to be honest. Dh is not a big fan of red meat. Thus, dh asked for cheese souffle' for his bday dinner. . . .

I am so tired. It is so late. Good night all!
