Aw, Kathryn.

LOL Nancy, hens recess!
MT, do you think your new dog has bonded with you and DH? Pets usually do once they know they're being fed.

Yet more paperwork. Went through tax pkg, got that ready to mail and set up tax/bookkeeping folders for next year, and organized all the stuff for permanent storage. Paid someone who came.

I did get some cleaning done. Swept both porches, wiped off arms of outside chairs. Dragged out the ladder and took apart and cleaned the front light fixtures. Did dishes.

It doesn't look like much got done around here, but I've been busy all day long.

Hi Lucy! DGS sure is a good traveler and patient for a boy his age. I don't think deskwork is necessarily disagreeable, and it is physically easier than cooking and cleaning, but it is aggravating how much of my time it eats up.

Ch. Noodle soup for lunch h.'s lunch.
Gave him a much needed hair cut.
Made up a miffin mix crumbled it up with left overs I incorporated to give the hens in the morning.
Time to head out and check the water in the run.
Drive way is melted off and clear now.
I need a plan for my dinner h. Figured out what he will have.

Harmony - you set such a good example. Keeping up with such an immense amount of paperwork and projects.

I have paperwork stacked everywhere on the desk. I do have a system in place to accomplish it but don't spend the time need to stay up with it. Hum....I have 50 minutes until I need to be at next event...... So....with that realization - I'll pour myself a cup of fresh coffee and get going to work the plan

Dish washer has been rebooted.
Laundry is going.
I swept the traffic areas in the kit.
Time to check the laundry.
Winter weather advisory tonight 6 pm till ten am 1"-3 " of new snow expected that could bring our total up to 7"! I will need diff boots the ones I have been using are not tall enough. Some of the hens just plow through snow belly deep to them!

Didn't come on-line until about 7 p.m.
It's lightly snowing here.
#5 lol is starting to wash on a timer on the washer, soon.
DH has been fixing the fireplace insert fire. It doesn't want to cooperate.
I made 1 Valentine's Day card to dfriend with memory problems, it went out today. It's surprise snail mail. :D
Starting working on a giant shocking pink Valentine's with a paper white doily in the center of it. It's pretty, bright, and nice.
I laid down to rest about 1 hour; wasn't feeling 100%. Mainly am tired, but sometimes wonder if I've picked up a "bug". :(
My "Olympics" crocheted red-white-blue striped hat's pretty, but I fizzled out on row 10, decided to do all the laundry, make cards instead.

It's been a serene and calm Saturday here. :D :D

This is just a CI and quick CUOP.

Hoping that Sunday is as calm and serene tomorrow, as it was today, for everyone. Good lead-in. It makes for a hopeful relaxing day, at first read. :D

Everyone must be having a busy, exciting Saturday night.

The biggest excitement here was dgs playing in the toilet and having to change pajamas almost before dh/ds/ddil got out of the driveway. Shaking my head...
Ddil said you have to watch him; he has been known to try to play in the toilet at home, too. Yuck.
So -- hands washed, wet pajamas in the washer with a load I planned to wash anyway, supper eaten, diaper changed, blocks moved all over the house... baby boy deposited into his playpen! * whew *

Also -- before he got here -- I made my run to CVS, eager to use 25% off coupon before it expired.
Did y'all know, those coupons are not good on anything that is on sale already?
I spent almost $70, and the 25% off only amounted to $3.50!!!
Apparently, almost everything was already on sale. DH said their sale price probably didn't get it down to Wmart's regular price anyway. Phooey.
Tomorrow is another day.

I tucked in the hens for the night.
It is pouring down snow outside here I swept the drive way off quickly.
Watched a movie with h. After a nap. Found figure skating on waiting on laundry.
