I am going to make chili in the new crock pot today. It is big enough to cook a chicken in I am sure that it will love come in handy for that later.
Some prayer knitting up soon.

Good morning all! I'm up, s2barefeet, have organized my things in the room as I fell asleep at my computer last night before doing that, have shaved my gorilla legs. Dh went for a morning run. I declined - b/c of the state of my legs and b/c I'm happy to have some time alone. . . .

Next, I'm going to dry my hair, do my teeth and face. I might try the coffee in the room coffee maker. Wish the room had a fridge so we could have cereal on hand for bfast. We did find a coffee shop not too far from us that does some simple bfast items too.

I wonder if the girls are up?

Sadie, here's hoping your achy arm/shoulder is steadily getting better. Helia, sunshine and the beach sounds wonderful. Nancy, chili sounds good, I think we are going to do a pork tenderloin today.

Hoping for a sweeter Sunday than Saturday, wishing I could completely wipe out yesterday and loss of car window and purse. Dh is still in something of a mood about it - I am reminding him that he was sitting next to me in the front seat and could have put it in the back as easily as I could have. I don't have a trunk in the Honda Pilot but could have left if in back under some blankets. OTOH, the police officer said that they may have been watching when we left the car.

I need to s2s and then both of us are going to go see dmom. I think that dh is antsy about me driving w/o a license, altho the officer yesterday said that if I were stopped while driving they could look up my license info and verify my info. Also need a grocery trip and probably need to get away from dh for awhile....

Heading to the shower next.

Ok I'm lost. Where are you, Helia? We're at Hollywood Studios today. I'm using my rolling walker today. Nice! Not sure we're staying all day. Dgs19mos is more restless. He wants to run. Understand the legs,Helia. Specially headed to FL. You should have nice temps. Cool in shade today. Got 16,000 steps yesterday. Sadie, hope your achiness is just therapy.g

Oh my Twins hope things are easily put back together. Well know that feeling ofbeing violated. Hope it's a balancing Sunday.

My Sunday includes laundry and cleaning 2 ceiling fixtures. Add some Olympics after Mike is finished watching various ministers, preachers and talk shows. Including one that has an obsession with Germany and his message is sent from a room with nobody except himself. No choir, no other preachers, no audience. I'm almost certain that Germany was never actually mentioned in the bible.
Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.

Getting here late. Not due to unreliable internet just lots of interruptions.

Woke up after 10.5 hours of sleep at 9:50.

Got going slowly. Still am in my pjs. But my bed is made!!!!

I came downstairs to have my tea and got working on the last travelogues (I still had 2 to write and a third to send because I had been blocked from emailing at the airports.)

Then the phone rang and it was my music friend. So we talked for over an hour (we hadn't spoken since before Christmas.)

Then dh came in from shoveling and phoned dd so I joined in on that call.

Now I'm having my breakfast. Yes, that isn't a typo!

The plants are watered and returned to their homes. I killed 3 by accident by failing to move them to the watering area. One other died on its own and one is iffy. I'll kill another one (it is infected too badly with scale to save) but it is a spider plant and there are uninfected babies that I'll save first, before killing it.

My house needs vacuuming badly (plant leaves all around from moving them back plus the bedroom needed doing before I left.)

But first I have to s2s and then go for groceries.

Dh and I went out to visit dmom and to cell phone store and grocery. At least my phone is replaced! Tomorrow is Presidents' day so I won't be able to get license replaced and I may not be able to get the car window replaced. I got out an old purse to use for awhile.

Dh is still in a mood but getting better. I'm observing him like an anthropologist - his reaction from here appears worse than mine, and he thinks I'm acting like it's "no big deal." Interesting that it makes him much more OCD about almost everything....

I'm surviving, tho!

We're in Miami Beach right now, Dee. Enjoyed an afternoon at the beach! Girls are at the pool currently. We have reservations at a recommended Cuban restaurant for dinner. Hope we didn't get sunburned. We're heading to Cr ystal Ri ver on Tuesday to swim with manatees, then over to Orlando on Wed.

Tomorrow, we're visiting The Everglades and hopefully renting canoes. Dh finally got through by phone - and the upshot is that they are saying we don't need to reserve. After all that effort trying to get ahold of them. . .

Wonder what is up with Harriet.
