I have some gluten-free brownies in the oven. We'll see if these are any good.

Can't remember if I mentioned here a high school friend/acquaintance, very social person, who had suddenly begun sending me cards - 3 before Christmas and even a Christmas gift. That made me feel awkward and a little confused at what had started this. Got a card from her on Valentines Day, giving me her phone number and asking me to call. She wants me to help support a 5-towns-away fabric company which has bought out a quilt shop there and will be holding a basic quiltmaking class. I really had to turn her down. I've taught basic classes myself several times and just don't need to spend time traveling/attending just to support distant people who are friends of a friend. 'She says she knew I'd taught before, but sees it as assembling people who are fun for a group. That's a lovely compliment, but not for me.

Agreeing with Sunny that the Harmonys will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

Cathy, sounds like you got some good rest, and it may have been needed. Naps really are "doing something"!

Ivy: thanks for the tips. I haven't done any searching yet, just confirmed what I had sounded like PF. I do calf stretches for the knee was well and they've been helping at night. It happens that reviews of my shoes say they are best for PF sufferers. It just happens I have them due to the straight last they offer.

Still haven't done my stretches yet so will do those.

Was looking at available apartments. Currently, not a lot of choose from. There is one very promising one but across from a major construction site. But it gives me my water with boats view, among other things on my very long 'must-have' list.

Hi everyone! DD12 and I made Sunday school and church today. At her parent teacher conference last week, we were told that she has trouble Mondays, and needs to keep her routines on the weekends. So, I made sure she got to bed at a reasonable time on Saturday, and it made Sunday much better. We had Chinese, then watched some short videos, then continued a computer 'hidden objects' game. I got her back to X in time, then had dinner, did some cat care, and read some. Now, I have to put my nose to the grindstone.

I am starting with internet chores: order button blanks for animal org, order FlyLady duster as a valentines day gift for me (cats destroyed previous one), reserve a video at the library (if possible), check emails and job agents. Continuing the computer work offline: update Quicken and balance checkbook. Away from the computer: mail a deposit, homeowners insurance paperwork, Bible study. Will I get all this done? Maybe. Only if I get started!

I forgot to mention the nap I had this afternoon.
Got the dishwasher rebooted.
Watched a couple more eposoides of a series we are enjoying bc the show was a repeat.
