Good evening friends! As of today, I have put in a job application every day this week! Five stars on the calendar for me. I have also searched a bunch of sites and set up job agents on several. The homeowner's insurance paperwork was not accepted. They needed a copy of my diploma for the discount. I had mailed a copy of my transcript, which shows the dates of ALL my diplomas, but that is not what they want. Must find diploma. My Dr. Who video is still not in at the library. No crochet with the Doctor. Maybe I will crochet with Hogan instead.
Today has been quite busy. I started with breakfast with the knit/crochet group, then got a haircut, then went to lunch with a friend. Once I got home, I talked to my parents and they are coming for TWO WHOLE WEEKS in April!!! They've hardly been out here at all and now DD12 and I get them for TWO WHOLE WEEKS!!! I am excited and she will be thrilled. After that, I did much job search work. In a few minutes, I am going to Bunco. After that, I will try to find that diploma and do some (lots?) of cleanup.
I have DD tomorrow, so no cat duty.
harriet: No I am definitely not finished with the sweater. The try on of my sleeve modification went well though. The shawl for the animal org must be done in time for the silent auction at the end of April. I would like to do two and have picked very elegant looking, but not time intensive projects.
helia: Maybe you are like me. I can handle any REAL ride. However, virtual rides, and even some 3D movies make me absolutely ill. It was very disappointing at the family gathering in Disney, because the cousins were counting on their aunt who rides everything to take them on rides their parents and grandparents couldn't handle. Fortunately for them, other adults were able to do the virtual rides with no issues.

Re: FRIDAY FRIENDS
Helia - I'm so happy you and family had a great time this week!
LucyLee - I think DD has lived "off the grid" for so long that it has become normal for her to not have bank account. I have heard that x is keeping himself occupied = hitting the casinos with a different girl night after night.
FNG was good tonight. Full house and very enjoyable.

Re: FRIDAY FRIENDS
OH! I want to share a joy -
This afternoon I was working at MPB when ambulance, police, fire, all converged a half block away. There had to be a half dozen vehicles with flashing lights/sirens come roaring up and blocked off the highway. I had been working in that back of MPB and didn't see it happen. A 7 year old boy had been hit by SUV on the highway in front of his parents business (next door to MPB). He was taken by ambulance to closest hospital 25 miles away. It is amazing but he is going to be okay! We have been life-long friends with his parents & Grandparents. So much to be thankful for!
