Hi everyone! I think dFosterCat14 is getting better. I did not have to clean her this morning, even though there was an extra catbox clean. Also the rug near the catbox that catches the dust on their feet. I decided to wash all the rugs. I have NOT put sheets back on the bed, I am sleeping on the mattress protector wrapped in a blanket. If she has another problem, that makes less to wash. I did the sofa/chair diving FlyLady mission. Did not find any money or valuables, did find lots of DD12's popcorn and a small ball of yarn. That was my mini-job.

I have given up depending on dResidentCat14 to keep order, even though she is nominally the queen of the house. The previous queen, who died suddenly at 18, kept order amazingly well. There was no fighting, hissing, growling, or even annoying each other. I am taking over her job. When dResident14 and dFoster2 get in any sort of altercation, whether physical or verbal, the squirt bottle is coming out! I'm the queen now!

Next up: check emails and job agents and plaster the world with resumes. As a break, I will go outside and remove pieces of the trees that fell during the winter.

Ivy: The golden yellow + red stripes sound like Gryffindor colors.

Prayers said for the Harmony's.

Harriet: I always use the 15 minute timer for DD12's room cleaning. It works especially well, since the X and the other woman just send her to her room until they decide it is done. Sometimes they send her to her stepbrother's room as well. I always get predictable questions. "What if it's not done in 15 minutes?" Answer: Then we do another 15 minutes some other time, after some fun. "What if I finish early?" Answer: I guess you will have to start your fun early then, won't you. I think she likes to ask so she can get a 'mom order' that contains early fun. It may also help that while she is doing her 15 minutes, I am doing 15 minutes in the kitchen, LR, or MBR.

Right, Harriet! Think I'll send dh to keep Harmony's dh company. Think they're both at the same level of frustration right now -or pretty close. The Dr. did call dh back. He said he didn't find anything in the CAT scan that would be causing the problems and pain he's having. Did see something around the kidneys (have no idea what that might be!!!). Keeping the follow-up appointment in May, but in the meantime still knows nothing. So! He wanted me to book him a flight and is coming back down TOMORROW! Cost was the same any day for the next week, so have him flying out of Rochester at 8:20am and arriving in Orlando at 2:41pm tomorrow. Hopefully he can mellow while down here. He plans to head home March 24th and is still driving one of the campground people's truck up. I should be able to send most everything with him.

He is calling his own GP to ask him to set up an appointment with his gastroenterologist for an endoscopy after he gets back up there. I sure hope they find something to explain all that's happening with him. It's become so much more intense in the last few months -SOMETHING is going on!

Had a meeting in the morning but think I'll skip it and 'sleep' in and get ready for dh's return. Also I've been fighting a little sore throat & headache.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Happy for you, Nancy. Something off your mind.

Dee, I am still sorta speechless. So... .... he just wasn't going to find out until he called them (no matter if it was May, perhaps?) and so when was he going to fly back? Sigh. Well, anyway, happy he's free.

Did get the taxes picked up after all. How many years are you supposed to save tax records again? I believe I have collected enough. :|

Have the 3rd load of laundry in the wash.

Found dd on the floor of her closet sorting ditsy stuff, so she's gotten past the big sorting even though visually there is still disorder in the room until those things are put away. Wonder if a different laundry-hamper system, more vertical, might help her. I saw one on a hoarding-show episode.

Posted a photo of the first 2 pressed-flower bookmarks I made in A, Crafts and N thread.

Seems like a long day. Choir was a riot but ran a bit late.

The apartment we looked at today was too small. And too many other things wrong with it. They redid the kitchen and messed up the fridge. What is so hard about placing a fridge? At least in the apartment we'll probably get, we've got room to find a better spot for it - in this place the old kitchen was a small space which they had completely gutted and they put the fridge in the wrong spot (and it was a former doorway so there's no reason why it had to go there - just carelessness in design.)

We had an errand to run out of our way on the way home so did that and then picked up pizza for dinner. Went over the calendar for March while we drove and it is insane.

Dd wants us to visit. We might go tomorrow because it seems to be the only time we have.

I have been on the run today and I'm just worn out. I got the listed stuff done earlier before I headed out to dr appt - short appt and was out in an hour - and all is well with cpap machine, no adjustment needed. Since I had a little time I stopped at CVS and got dMac's script for Zanax filled for his t-storm anxiety. Since we'll have a dog/house sitter this weekend through Tuesday I thought I should probably have meds on hand. I went by home and put on flip flops and went for a pedicure, and got home about 30 minutes ago. Tomorrow, thankfully, I only have one appt out of the house.

I really need to get some stuff done tomorrow. This morning temple secretary sent 7 emails either to me or on which I was copied and I haven't had the presence of mind to answer any of them. (She did say something about "sticking with her" for a few more weeks and I sent her back a reminder that I was at the temple for 4 hours yesterday in meetings, so I'm obviously still involved. )

Oy, still so many of things to do related to stolen purse. Realized today I need to request a new health insurance card. I just went to Paypal to set up the new bank account, but can't do the instant confirmation thing because I don't have online access to the new account yet.

My ddogs are about to make me crazy about a walk.

Never made a schedule for myself but spent most of the day doing laundry and Hebrew. Spent 2 hours running around, dropping dd15 at synchro, got to the temple/synagogue (they are called a congregation - qahal, I think; not sure whether they consider themselves a temple/synagogue) early and did a couple more verses while sitting in the car for about 15 minutes. Went to class. Went home - put leftovers in the oven for dinner, put dryer on perma press. Took out drip dry clothes from the washing machine. Need to make a salad next and heat up my leftover Swiss steak. It is just GG and me for dinner tonight; I'll pick up dd15 around 7:45, and dd18 will be home from tutoring in Detroit around 9 pm. Dh will be home from work dinner -- I don't know when. He thinks not too late.

((Twins))

We never fully succeeded in getting our cc unblocked while traveling. Dh would unblock it one day only to have it blocked again the next. We finally gave up after 2 or 3 calls to unblock it. Apparently, it is on some list of compromised numbers, so we need to get a new one issued. We have no idea how it got compromised, but this will be the 2nd time in a year we've had security issues with this card. I'll take care of that tomorrow, I hope. . .

((Dee and Mr. Dee)) Wow, that is short notice for a flight!

Just a quick C.I. and quick CUOP.

My mini job was cleaning out the top-loader washing machine, which has front-loader technology. The machine had mold in parts of it, in hidden unseen areas, where I needed to pull the barrel of the washing tub, to get fingers in there to clean mold, slime, dirt out. I'm thinking  how maybe my washer was dirty, so washing underpants didn't get them entirely clean: Hence the 3 red marks/sores/spots in my under pants leg line, which are itchy sore. I keep it clean, dry, and use antibiotic ointment on it. Have a Ziploc to take my one anti-chafing gel in, with antibiotic ointment, and the other cream I'm using for yeast on the corners of my mouth, to the doctor, so he has an  idea how I've been "doctoring" myself. I hope he'll be able to diagnose the 3 spots, give me answers, because I'm sure curious. :?: :?: :?:

OH! :!: I had something way COOL-TO-ME happen! I've been battling gastritis for about 3 weeks, use OTC generic anti-acid med, you take 2 x daily, but I was still having problems. DH got me some Probiotic 10 capsules, I took 2 (as directed), after lunch, and my stomach feels WONDERFUL! :P I wonder if I just needed some extra "thingies" in my system, to cut down on germs, which may have led to the gastritis? :?: Who knows, but I feel so much better with a calm stomach, without the knife-like pains, the burping and belching. I didn't know this would/could happen for me, so I'm so over-the-top happy now. :D

(((Twins))))

(((Dee & Mr. Dee))), You have a safe flight! :!:

Nancy, Congratulations on the insulin news! :D

Lynlee, Did you get more sleep yet? :?: :?:

Elizabeth, The golden yellow + red stripes will be with other colors, so won't look much like Gryffindor colors. But it's a good thought for a scarf of hat! Thanks for the idea! ;)

Waving hello to Sadie, Sunny, Cathy S., Kathryn, to Harriet, Harmony, and Booksaver. :D

HAVE A GREAT LATER AFTERNOON & EVENING! :D
