Ta-da!!!
I am proud to say I finally did rouse myself, went outside and walked 2 miles, talked to dmom on phone, and s2s.
We took dmil her supper and dh set her clocks. Now he is setting ours and we are going out for supper and a movie.
I am also trying to make a new list: Magic Minutes.
For example, in 12 minutes, if I don't shave my legs and wash my hair, I can be in and out of the shower.
In 14 more minutes, if I don't have to dry & scrunch my hair, I can be dressed2shoes and ready to face the world.
Surely I can force myself to get through 26 minutes first thing on days when I do not plan to walk!?!?
A real problem however is those days when dh and ds want to walk at 2:00 pm and I have to be UNs2s till then. That makes me incredibly lazy for some reason.

Lucylee: let me reformat that for you:
Just a not-subtle reminder about the time change tonight. It is so early in the year now, it catches me by surprise.
Given that I have a wicked headache and it is 9 p.m. by the 'new' time, I'm heading to bed asap. I will help dh change the clocks first, though.

(((((Harmony))))) & (((((Mr. Harmony))))), I hope things start improving for you both. I'm sorry to hear about Mr. Harmony's spirits. Sorry he's pushing himself too hard, too. Yes! I'd be stomping my feet, too, throwing my fists up in the air with a shocked look on my face by now!
It's so discouraging, when you're trying to get better and "support" the one who is trying to get better, too. It's a hard road to walk. You're in my prayers and thoughts.
(((((Harriet))))) and good thoughts and Prayers to you, HRH and to Joe, too. I'm sorry he's needing to go to hospice now.
I didn't turn on my laptop until 3:55 p.m. Did QT, exercise, reading, and journal writing, I stripped the bed, then napped, while DH ran the washer & dryer. At least he knows HOW to use "THIS" new set we got!
He can help with laundry more. I did 5 loads last night. Tomorrow, I'll try to wash blankets.
It's pouring rain, our puddles and mud on some dirt spots of the driveway, are muddy, and so wet.
I guess that's rain for you.
It's sorta depressing day after day, too, but so much nicer than ice and snow and floods, mudslides, and sink holes, which makes us very fortunate, too.
I did mat exercises, our cat rubbed all over my arms and legs, got me all hairy, she rubbed my head and hair, cuddled in my neck/shoulder area, licked my fingers, etc...
Too cute. She loves me down on the floor on her level. Was doing Pilates, back exercises, crunches, and pelvic tilts. I woke up with a 36" waist, as I have for a few days now, so figure it's time to try to firm the flab a bit more, or at least the muscles underneath, more. I did some push-ups, too, which are the knee kind.
A dfriend of mine fell today, in winter boots, on black ice, sprawled all over, got her white blouse black and muddy. She has one sore rib, is bruised all over, aches, but otherwise is fine and no broken bones. She's my diet buddy, so hope she'll get some rest and get on the mend soon, too.
OH! THE CLOCKS!!!!!
DH DOES THAT FOR ME! TIME TO RUN AND LET HIM KNOW!

Don't forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Also take the time to check anything else that might require a battery in an emergency. (flashlights)
Mike has been in an absolutely foul mood since he got home. I don't think he had a good time with his web guy. He hates computers and he needs to have websites so it's never a fun time for him.

Harriet, I completely missed "hospice" on first reading. ((HUGS)) for you and HRH and all in the family.

Re: Saturday March 8
The other night, our phone rang at 11:25 p.m.
It was DD. I thought it was an emergency.
But all she talked about was being in love, falling in love and love this, love that, and she's extremely happy!
They're taking it very slow. It was such a delight, for us, and since I've been praying about her finding the perfect guy for her, for about 3 years now, it's an answer to my prayers. I'm glad we got good ♥ ♥ news and it was NOT an "emergency"!
It was kinda cute and sweet.
I went to bed that night with a big old smile on my face. I was delighted she called, even though it was late. We were up watching the news anyway. So this was a good thing.

Nice way to go to sleep ivy... I totally agree. Wishing the same for my son.
I have no clock worries. We don't celebrate day light savings time here in AZ. But now I've moved to from mountain time to pacific all in a blink of an eye

Re: Saturday March 8
Am working on a letter to my diet buddy, for my weekly report to go out on Monday.
I got 4 meditation poem prayers rejected from a children's Christian magazine today, but they kept my short story and sent me back my spare SASE. My idea is perhaps they're saving the story for future issues, because it was a very good story. (IN mine and DH's opinions.)
It keeps pouring rain here, it's windy, too. I long for Springlike days!
I got a letter from my pharmacy, how I was in their special client program for my certain asthma med, so went to that site, to watch a video. While there, I noticed an emergency printable card with valuable information, in case of a severe asthma attack. I printed up two,
I can't believe it's Daylight Savings Time already!
