2nd lol is drying, new undies are washing. I folded another load of clothes, laying on our bed, put them away, then made DH's side of the bed, tidied mine up more. I've been up since 5 a.m., took a 1/2-hour rest, but cannot seem to nap. May go to bed early.

Sorted the mail, the panties came today, 1 pen pal letter, and ads, with vacation things advertising Des Moines. I sent for stuff from all over USA to have ideas for setting for stories. Now, I've let a bunch of "clutter" into the house.

I worked on an outline template, will log the story, to get it started, to the point where the template ended. I like it, but it needs a whole lot of work. I need to add some humor, because it's such a serious story. It needs to be lightened up. I wish I had an at-home editor (besides DH) to help me out! :!:

I'd better run and check the last 2 lol. I put hot spots out, want to clean my bunny room desk, and tidy it back up in there. I stripped everything off the desk, so the window washer could wash the window above the desk. Need to put some items, back, but don't really want a *lot* of items. I want to have an orderly desk, so when guests walk down the hall into the guest/main bathroom, they can see a pretty bunny room, with no clutter.

I'm "itching" to do an "Easter Conga" for a spring cleaning catch-up by April 19, the day before Easter. I don't want everything hitting me at once, so a little here and a little here, over the next almost-3 weeks, will be good. Pacing is good.

I'm so sorry I missed saying hello to you, Helia. I really enjoy hearing about what all your dds and GG do as they are about the same ages as my dgds also.

There has not been any clouds in the sky all day and when I went out to get the mail I noticed that the streetlight in front of our house is still lit from last night! :?

Hi everyone! Two layers of success at the estate sale work I did yesterday. We were arranging the items, bringing everything down from upstairs, so that no one had to go up the rather steep stairs. Much work got done. The second layer of success was that I needed both a ladder and a vacuum. I am now the proud owner of both, at a very good price. The vacuum is the biggest, fanciest shop vac I have ever seen, a real bargain. (Since I have wood floors, I decided that I would get more use out of the shop vac. My car will be clean when I pick up my parents!) I also got three wonderful wire storage units for the sewing room. This way I can get out of boxes! One will replace a not very ideal storage unit I had for yarn. Two of the units will fit in the closet, which has no shelves, and thus no way to be convenient! I am thinking about getting one of the filing cabinets too. If I do get the file cabinet, I will still be UNDER BUDGET for what I allowed myself to spend.

I have already moved one of the units in the closet and started filling it. However, the room still looks like a complete disaster because everything is mid-move. Tonight, I will put the second unit in the closet and start putting yarn in it. (Yarn must be kept in cat safe places, it is dangerous to them). Two boxes of fabric have been emptied and removed from the house and there is still LOTS of room in the first unit.

Tonight is Girls' Night Out, so dinner is Chinese. I offered to send DD12 home early because she had an extremely late homework night Monday. I also have to make sure she has had her snack. After she leaves, I need to work on tree removal. In the MBR, I discovered that the vent needs some serious dusting. In the LR, I have to clean a chair, clean under the cushions, sweep, and mop. Yes, that was supposed to be done last week, but I will get it done today. DD's room needs lots of work too. One of my library books has come in, but I will probably have to get that tomorrow, unless DD wants to go to the library (sometimes she does).

You guys are too funny with the circus and monkeys...

Harriet, I wanted to say that looking at those shoes I instantly thought of that old old funny "spy" sitcom, the one where the guy had a shoe phone...can't remember the name..

I did get my errands run. But really the whole day was spent on paperwork and there are 3 things sitting here to do still. I might tackle them this evening.

Committee meeting was very very short for a change. Was good, I got home in time to help DH with his shower. He still can't get his socks on and off by himself and I have to dry his lower legs.

Off to see what else I can do here. Oh, wanted to tell Sadie I'm so happy with the progress she's made with her shoulder. That's super! And was very happy to read Elizabeth's interview went well.

As predicted, Chinese food was eaten. Then, DD12 wanted to go to the book store for a book she has been waiting for months. She had to wait until the 3rd in the Animal Spirits series was published. I used a combination of two gift cards to get a crochet book I have been wanting. Best of all, there is still some on one of the gift cards! The book store is right by the ice cream place, so I got her some watermelon sorbet. (They did not have her lemon sorbet). There was time to get to the library to pick up my book AND my Dr. Who video had come in too!

After getting DD a snack and driving her back to the X's house, I worked on tree removal and my trash can is filled. I've cleaned the chair and under the cushions of the sofa and chair. I still need to sweep and mop the LR and kitchen and take care of the vent in the MBR.

I moved one of the recently purchased wire storage units into the house from the garage and will be filling it with yarn soon. I don't know what I am going to do with the other storage that I have some of the yarn in. It is a hanging shoe storage container and I have never had that many shoes! I'm sure I will think of something, extra storage is never a problem.
