It could be considered Hump day by some
It could be considered the middle day of the work week by some.
But for me, today is It makes me jump type of day. I will attend this concert with LO and classmates this morning. It will be LOUD and lively memory making time.
What kind of Wednesday are you going to have?

Re: It makes me Jump Wednesday
Sunny day here and I will be going for a walk because there is no electricity in the exercise room. The lawn lamp has not been working this winter and it is on the same circuit so our best guess is there is a short from the deep frost in the ground and now with the rain the GFI is tripping the breaker.
Dh is on the bike because it generates its own power and using an extension cord for his laptop. Hmmm, maybe I will do the same.

Re: It makes me Jump Wednesday
Yes, you will have a 'jumping' Wednesday! Tell me those kids won't be hyper -no sugar needed. I'm jumping, myself, now but only in spirit.
Slept poorly and not even until after 1am. Finally got up and typed in some hotels. Trying to find hotels at exits along our route so we can call early for reservations -once we're on the road and have an idea of a timeline. Have a feeling if we can't leave on Thursday that the route north may be quite busy (May 1 or 2).
Got up at 7 as the dog was barking. It's Wed, so it's trash day. Sure the trucks were going by.
Going to drive to the south side of town to discover the name of the place where I got my hair done last. Have a particular gal who's done it for the last several years. I got her cell phone # from a friend a while back (she's moved since I had a perm). Went there to get it cut, but now badly need a perm. Hate to call her cell phone -though I may do that later today.
Plan to go over to see dsisil later this morning. Still proceeding on schedule I might add, with my list of projects for April. I'm still on a roll. Feels good. Been getting a lot of little extras done -things sorted. Made a couple more 'finds' last night. Found $5 in scratch-offs and my card (photo) reader for the computer. Had looked for that last week for the SD card (when I discovered I could put it in my printer and downloaded all the pics to a separate flash drive.
Made the bed & put up meds so far. Took morning meds and was waiting for breakfast. Realized, Harriet, that I already had a bottle of b-12 sublingual in my 'stash'. Took one and will continue for a couple of weeks to see how it makes me feel.

Re: It makes me Jump Wednesday
Good morning! It is sunny and clear! We're supposed to get up to 57 or so today. Apparently, we were up to 62 yesterday!
OK, maybe that concert can count as your work out for the day! Looks like a lot of fun for a bunch of little ones!
Maybe you can sneak in a nap later today, Dee? Sorry to hear about sleep troubles.
I have a busy day and need to stay focused.
PODA:
- Pepper and Maia to the vet at 9:45; I think GG is going with me
- buy a little something as today is GG's birthday! I had a plan to get some haribo at the groc. store yesterday, but she decided to go run errands with me so I have to move to plan B. Hmm.....We will celebrate as a family on another day; we still need to celebrate ds' birthday which was 2 weeks ago.
- Prep the house for the teenage invasion to happen later today. Bathrooms need a good scrubbing, living areas need to be vacuumed, island hot spot is raging, dusting would be good, play room could have surfaces wiped down, etc. etc.
- 3 pm dfriend B is coming here to go for a long walk. I'll get to enjoy this beautiful day with her!!
- 6 pm GG's guests start arriving
- 6:30, we have reservations at nearby pizza/Italian restaurant
- on to the movie theater around 7:45. I haven't decided if I will stay to watch the film or not.
I am finishing my mug of tea. Off I go. BBL with progress to report - I certainly hope.

Re: It makes me Jump Wednesday
Happy Birthday to your delightful austauschstudent, helia! Hope all the friends have a good time.
Well, I am jumping with housecleaning and trying to jump through the hoops of the computer at dd's school, which suddenly doesn't recognize me as a parent. Sigh. email to the person in charge for our area of the system, and I hope he can help. I feel as though I must be messing up my password, but I was so sure I knew it. Sigh. Dd had been trying to help, and I fear we've tried so many times that we've crossed a limit.
Dee, what is the dosage on your bottle? Harmony was explaining in H and F what her dr had suggested. HRH's bottle is 1000 mcg, and he takes morning and evening.
Wednesday trash day here, too. We certainly got enough into the cans, but I'm already regretting I didn't get more.
Need to go back and jump toward the front bathroom and continue a deep clean there. Dd was quite surprised this morning that I didn't allow her a shower until I had mopped. LOL. (Bath mat newly laundered and I can't stand for it to be put down onto
a suspicious floor!) She was questioning the order of things (usually cleaning would be top down) but obviously she needed a morning shower.
I suppose I'm the caricature of the nagging housekeeper this a.m., mopping as people dance out of the way!

Re: It makes me Jump Wednesday
Not jumping this morning, more like dragging.
DH comes in with computer problems this morning while I'm still sleeping: "do you want me to download Windows8?" NOOOOOOO. It's not simple like that. Do we have space, memory, etc. etc. and what happens to all my work and everything on there first......
He'd just jump right in with no thought about it. Somebody tie his hands behind his back.
Anyway, our computer gal (who incidentally is retired IT gal from a big utility company) says if we have SP3 (we do) and still working not to worry. It's all a huge marketing ploy. Well, I knew that, but but but... I'm sure not happy with Mic rosoft these days. big sigh..
Need to formulate a plan for today. Way behind this morning. Did a statement with DH earlier which is why I'm even back here on this computer before anything else is done. At least the sky is blue and the guys are at work. bbl

Re: It makes me Jump Wednesday
Today I jumped right in and did a couple of chores first thing, I rebooted the dishwasher and vacuumed up cracker crumbs in the living room before anything else.
I have picked a bit of fleece it is dry now, trying to decide if it will work for socks or not.
The house was clean on Mon. Then yesterday I did zone work in the basement and it was trash day with three kids here upstairs was a dasaster zone felt like I was starting over you know the drill!
We had rain in the night and it it windy here today temps in the 60's instead of the 75* we had the past two days.
It was a fun day yesterday side walk chalk homework outside, playing with the hens and chicks, baking and eating cookies grandma's house is fun!

Re: It makes me Jump Wednesday
I had to jump first thing this morning... see J&C... but now, I think I will jump back into bed and try to "re-boot" this day.
I am very frustrated. I think I said that in J&C.

Re: It makes me Jump Wednesday
Made my appt with GP. He is going to be out of the office all next week, backing further appts up, and so I have an appt set out further on the calendar than I ever have with him. He is usually very easy to get to see. I questioned again the concept of appt first, blood tests later, but receptionist was just so bewildered that there could be any other way that I dropped it.
It seems so counterproductive - talk, talk, talk, then find out blood work results but don't really talk again for 6 months to a year. Maybe a brief phone call, but not necessarily from the dr, and usually an attempt to get you to accept one-word answers. I guess in that particular big hospital system the dr has to order blood work while showing a recent basis upon which to order. With hormone dr (an MD, too) I get the blood work done, and at appt he and I sit and talk. Much better communication, but I guess blood work is a larger part of his decisions.
Windows wonderment - HRH had a cousin call him frantically saying Microsoft wasn't going to answer his questions any more. HRH said, "Have you EVER asked Microsoft a question in your LIFE?" Cousin had not - cousin calls HRH. So he was convinced to relax about it somewhat.
