I'll sure be thinking of you, Lucylee, and your DMIL, too. And your DH, too. Yes, your little amount of exercise is better than nothing.

It's been sunny here all day. WOW! :D :D

Am feeling like a UTI is coming on, but don't know for sure. Drank cran-grape juice. Does any type of juice or teas work? :?: I've only had 2 in my 62-year-old life, so I forget what they're like.

It has been sunny all day here, too. Temp high was around 70* . It is 64* here at 9:30pm.

I was busy reading here this morning (actually almost noon) when dh came into the room and said "I'm ready, let's go." Really?? He decided we needed to go grocery shopping, so off we go! First stop at the bank, then W-M. We got our needed groceries, then walked around the store for a while, just to get some walking exercise. All in all it was a nice afternoon, no rushing. Third stop was drugstore for Rx refills pickup for dh. Came back home just in time to get supper for us and ddogs. They were glad to see us!

Finally settled down here at my desk to read --- I answered you all in in my head as I read. Tomorrow will be a desk day and I will have some mail ready for mail pickup in the afternoon.

Ddogs have been out for the last time and are settled in for the evening and dh has already gone back to bed. I've got about an hour to myself before turning in.

Ivy Cranberry juice (as unsweetened as you can get/stand it) and vitamin C. Dd is prone to them so takes Cranberry capsules (she can't afford the unsweetened pure juice and the sweetened has sugar which she won't have if she can avoid it.) Dh had one and was getting some result with juice but I switched him to the capsules and he's never had another. I figure he could stop (it has been years) but will leave him be since it was awful for him at the time.

I changed my password since I use the same one for everything. Ironically, my banking are different but the banks weren't affected. I'm not sure how I'm going to remember a whack of passwords. Sigh. There are times I'll hit a website and go to register but it says I already have an account with the email I'm using to register. I'll enter my universal password and get access. I'll miss that!

Dh just got another registration for our Australia course in May. We need a minimum of 5 (probably more since we'll be buying last minute tickets.) I'm not going, just dh. Too close to the move and I have Presbytery one of the weeks and dd is visiting another. Hmmm, dh gone for 2 weeks opens up all sorts of possibilities for packing up quickly while he's gone. He's not liking the (packed) boxes stacked in the office at the moment. Maybe I'll throw a table cloth over them...

I guess I should go off to bed now.

Enjoying the last minutes at home before we're invaded by teenage girl energy. Dh and I decided not to go to the movie. We went to a coffee shop to work, although I mostly played. The coffee shop closed at 9 so then dh and I came home. I've been goofing off since -- too tired.

I need to leave in a few minutes to go pick up the girls. They all just fit in the van. Don't feel like creating a party right now - would rather be going to bed. Oh, well, I'll be going to bed in a couple hours. And I don't have to get up early tomorrow.

None of the girls are sleeping over after all.

--Oh, yeah. I'm another who uses cranberry capsules. After the last UTI which was very painful for about 1/2 a day - and drove me to the Dr. (it was the first time I can remember that I've ever gone b/c I was sick/hurt), I started doing that. Though I've only been medicated for a UTI maybe 2x in my life, I was suspicious after the last one that I actually was getting mild infections fairly often w/out realizing it. I just thought something else was going on. Anyhow, I think the capsules do help.

Kathryn, I have cranberry capsules, too. Cranberry juice sure does make my stomach upset though. Too sour. Too acidic. I had some green tea and then felt much better. :) I have other juices here, too. I read on-line how green tea's good for keeping UTI's away. I'll have DH get me some more cranberry capsules at Costco when he goes next week, as I'm nearly out.

Thanks for the tips. :D
