April Cards 2014

april 22 what a beautiful day outside today.
the floors are needing every day work and I will have to get it on cards each day.
I got my statement in so I have to do that

My list today:
vacuum and rinse floors including stairs
put away
balance my check book
work outside
go to store and pick up chicken breasts, limes, tomato, jalepano
yoga heavy
cook at 4 pm (things are pre made in the refrigerator - chicken is marinating for the grill)
financial pluses: my dh told me his checking account was off - but I was able to show him from my checking that I had paid him back for taxes on April 1 yayayayayay ;I had it organized. yes he was disappointed that he thought he had more money than he had.. so I feel bad for him on that but yay it wasn't my disorganization - the boooo dh has been getting flustered by bills so I am taking on some of the pressure and some bills from him.
3:25 pm fill dw..turn it on... clean stove top... clean counters... put away... put chicken on grill at 4:45 start it.
dinner is done and dishes are washing themselves ... I want to wash the stove but I have to drop dd younger off - I dropped off dd and I have to leave again in 1/2 hour to pick her up at 8 pm .
dd older emptied the dw while I was gone and refilled it and washed the pots from dinner (wonderful)

picked up dd from school

Furnace guy is coming mid morning and I amd trying to to get the dailies done before that.
Chicken chores done.
Bed made
Furnace room spiff done.
Kit. Spiff x
Living rm. Hot spot next up. X
Dinner is in crock pot and oven.
Furnace guy is here now yea!!
He is back that did not fix the prob.

(plus when he is like this I don't want him home) evil yes I know.. doesn't mean that I don't love him but mmmm he needs a hobby or I need a job

Pick up dd younger for hair appointment and music leave at 2 pm.

More than half of the errands are done.

Hi, guys! I don't have anything profound to say. Just ordinary cards today, I guess. Laundry was reds. For decluttering, still around the laundry area for this week, but that is including pet cabinet, lightbulbs/flashlights, paperware. For cleaning, though, I moved over to kitchen which needed attn. Used the microwave timer, which is convenient there. Creativity was pressing phlox blossoms and azalea petals. Errands (which should not be dailies, but muscle their way in) were the drop-off and pick-up of truck with HRH for brake work.

Dining room tables - they can not help that they are great sorting surfaces!

Underfoot men - will brighter weather mean more outdoor time for menfolk? Mine can get underfoot, too! But also know what it is to have them work too long hours, as I almost never get to see ds with his 2 jobs. Sigh.

Furnace troubles - Nancy, do you feel confident now that all is fixed? I would think the guy would get a little embarrassed with trips back and cut you some slack on the cost!

They did not charge for the last trip. Furnace seems fine today I was am a bit nervous until after a day has gone by.

Bad storm came through we are fine but in the area gates tree branches and downed power poles were experienced. Hens are fine I picked up the twigs in the yd. And driveway.

Dinner in the oven.
Gdg & I baked cookies today.

Today is pure kitchen day - floors, cabinets and windows, appliance fronts
do a left to right weekly cleaning in my kitchen
appliances fronts done
counters weekly work done cabinet fronts washed, floors washed windows washed, stove cleaned, dishes in dw washed but not emptied
I have to drive dh to car place and tonight I have to drive an hour away for dd younger (it's okay)

Hot spots are cleared in the basement.
