I miscalculated in my head how long it would get to lunch and added an hour. That was corrected before we left home so I spent the time cleaning the bathrooms and upstairs. That is done.

Dh wants an open house tomorrow from 3 - 5 but rather than advertise it, we'll just put the signs out when we get home from church (I work from 2 - 2:40 with the last service.) That means we have to get the house show-ready this evening and tomorrow morning between my morning services and my afternoon service (when I get a whole 60 minutes to eat lunch and 'relax' between the second and third service.)

Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me, on the other hand, IF the house on the street has an open house, then people will be going by and might stop in. They have their sign up but that doesn't mean anything, they had their sign up last week too but then took it down at the last minute. There is no other house with an open house in the village, so it isn't as if we'll get some of that traffic.

So I'm undecided as to what to do. The kitchen and foyer needs cleaning, the main floor needs dusting and vacuuming and the basement needs vacuuming. Gardens are a mess, although we were mowed today so at the moment, the lawn looks good (although in 24 hours all the dandelions may have rebloomed!)

Lunch with our friends was great. The restaurant was great too. Just opened 11 weeks ago and turns out the owner grew up 3 miles from here so we had a long chat.

Ds called when we got home. The call came in on my tablet which then went crazy after a half hour and I had to do a hard shutdown on it. Disconnected it from the internet and uninstalled skype because up until this morning, skype had been unactivated and it worked and the tablet worked fine. Something happened this morning to activate Skype and then my table went nuts so I'm putting 2 & 2 together.

Kathryn, I was washing my hands in the bathroom, looking out the garden tub window at the sunshine & something hit my brain.

This septic problem you have is like a Stephen King novel, BUT once it's taken care of, you sell your home & you & Ken move & get settled into a new place, it'll be a Happy Ending like a Debbie Macomber novel. ♥ ♥ :D :D So the nightmare can turn into a happy ending. I have "no clue", why that analogy hit my brain like that either. :!:  But it did.

I got to see the DVD, which was one I bought with my Mother's Day gift card from DD/dgson, called "Frozen." I absolutely loved it! ♥ :P I crocheted while it was on, on facecloths & did laundry. What a nice way to spend the early afternoon. Then, it was the horse race, now it's the Mariners game, I'm still crocheting, & getting ready to fold the last load of laundry now. DH just got them out of the dryer.

I got 3 lovely letters; 1 is from a new pal a few months older than DH. I loved my letters today. ♥

Have a Super Sweet Saturday. :D My index card on display in my office says: "Sunny-in-my-heart-Saturday!" ;) :)

Dee - I can only assume that lady suffers from ID-ten-T disease. Why anyone would turn down help especially when a child is hurt?

I worked in the garden putting out mulch in 2 of the beds.

DBro stopped by again to check the freshly worked calves. I told him what DMom is up to and he immediately volunteered to go to Mom's home and try to talk her out of it.

Last night DMom had someone come into her garage (door was unlocked) and apparently slept for awhile. Some of the cushions for outdoor chairs was laid on the floor and some blankets had been pulled out of storage cabinets. The only thing she found missing was one of the blankets. However, the person left their cell phone! DMom called the local police and they took the phone. Later DMom decided it might of been DGS19 so she called the police and had them bring the cell phone to her. DMom set everything back up like she found it this morning and put the cell phone there so whoever it was could return & retrieve their phone tonight. Now I'm looking forward to hearing if OKay's dm was right.

We've practiced the music for tomorrow and I've loaded my preaching bags. Not sure when dh has set aside for cleaning. He's reading right now (his book has to be returned by Tuesday to the library, no renewals because it is a high demand book.)

We had dinner at 8:50 and just had french toast because we weren't really hungry. Hope we sleep fine tonight but I suspect we will.

I'm going to start in on the tidying/cleaning. I'm doing one load of laundry at a time and got two done today plus one last night. That leaves 3 more to do. Would be nice to get some of it dried on the line but if there's an open house that can't happen. Although the forecast is iffy and I won't be home to get things off the line if rain comes so maybe I just put things off until Monday.

Oh me... I too am very anxious to hear the next episode from OKay's dmom! But I certainly hope she's right and nothing dangerous is going on!!!

Amazing how much better I feel today, after day at festival WITHOUT dgs. I don't know what it is -- just the mental energy of keeping him entertained and being "on" all day I guess. I love him more than life itself but oooohhhh... He does wear me out sometimes.
Tomorrow is another day.

Hi to Lynlee, whose porch light I see on.

I suppose I'll have to CUOP tomorrow. Long day. Especially social. Everyone's well.

Waving from Sunday.

I have not much to say for myself.

Kathryn - I entirely see your point of view with the house sale. So Sorry about the septic system. Praying for a buyer who can accept the house for what it is worth. Maybe its just a deal breaker with the ones who signed already.
Just begin.

Phew what a day! Got the back yd. Cleaned up after h. Cut the dead branch out of the apple tree. Trailer us full so we can't load the rest of the stuff that needs to go sigh.

Can't wait to hear the rest of the story about who slept in the garage. dishes are going, took a walk with a friend and we looked at each others posies and shared news.
