I found one of the missing ones this morning (it was on the wall!)
 How often have any of us done this sort of thing? Too often I fear!

I'm finally s2s, breakfast taken care of (made bacon & eggs for something different this morning), and picked up the kitchen, made the bed. Now to just quickly straighten the living room & GET THAT SAUSAGE OUT OF THE FREEZER! Want to go next door to see dneighbor. Haven't really said a proper hello to her as yet and they just got here late yesterday. BBL

Subject of yearbooks -wonder where ours are? Are they here or are they in FL?
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

K in C I wondered if you were refering to netflicks last night. I have been underwhelmed with that show this year I must say.

Nancy: I was so underwhelmed with the story line at the beginning of Season 6 that I nearly asked to stop watching it but I was so tired from working hard that I just napped through a number of episodes after eating my supper.

Bikes go in tomorrow so dh washed them up today to pretend we take care of them! He's doing the rain-away on the car windshield now. That sort of thing will be much harder when we don't have a driveway. I washed up the two 'for sale/giveaway' bikes as well. One is 39 years old and still working. A bit of surface rust but would make a great beater bike for someone who commutes and doesn't want a good bike to be stolen.

Making my lunch now (rice and hamburg chowder) and then will get ready for choir. Haven't done a single item on my to-do list yet!

Done:
x a.m. routine, except for making the bed
x HD and BB&B with dh; found almost everything we needed, which means I got a couple more things knocked off the party list. I'm replacing all the door mats, inside and out. I'll put down the new ones the day of the party. Also got a couple gifts for dd16. Dh got supplies to repair his automatic watering systems for the tomatoes and our barrel flowers as well as some weed killer.
x checked w/ dd16 re: her dinner tonight and made a li&t - forgot to check the dessert ingredients
x load of sheets is going in the washer

Next:
- start breadmaker
- groc. store

82* outside.

Posted in MO, because I can't think of where else to ask for advice on travel to the Holy Land, although I know that all of you wonderful women would know how to answer the questions.

As the most likely least religious person to ever post on any of the SHE boards, I probably need the most help on destinations and locations. Thanks in advance.

progress on weekly focus area -
** Awesome closet - Pulled out a plastic tub of 10/12 size boy clothes. Sorted through tub and picked out shirts and shorts that will fit LO this summer.
** LO's closet - from the top shelf, pulled large plastic tub stuffed full of 10/12 size pants & shorts. Tried them on LO to see which to store another year or use this summer. These clothes were given to LO from one family a couple years ago. They have been stored while waiting for him to grow into them. Not sure LO needs 30 pairs of summer shorts though. It feels like clutter instead of a blessing.
** LO's closet - Pulled out 5 binders that was full of papers that LO did by age. Plus PILES of papers that I had stuffed around and one top of the binders I need to go through each age binder and just keep papers that will fit. Not sure I will keep doing this yearly binder. When I started it, I thought DD would want them but that hasn't happened. I can't imagine LO wanting to look through binders of his past school papers when he gets older. Soooo….need to make a decision what to do with them.

Dee, Thanks for the opener today & it's good news to hear of the recovered man your DH saved & the gift card & $10 found while checking your tires.

I emptied the DW, had breakfast, coffee, etc... Am nursing a sore achy molar, which has a gold crown on it. I had my annual dental check-up in March, with full mouth x-rays, exam, & nothing was wrong with that tooth, so WHY is it acting up NOW? I don't know if this is the reason for low-grade on & off fevers or not, but it could very well be. The gums are sore, too, & the tooth aches. I shudder to think what my dentist will do to me. I have fears of dentists, from childhood, & just feel so trapped. He's a gentle dentist, but my bottom jaw is so tiny, so I need to bite on that rubber block, to keep my mouth open enough. Then, I think how he may put me on antibiotics, we have no dental insurance, so the prescription PLUS dental work is out-of-pocket, but we've saved up for it, because we have 2 other teeth which need to be re-done this year, too. Replacements of gold crowns to Cerec porcelain crowns. I'll be glad when this week's over. I'll call them tomorrow. Hoping to get in sometime this week. And just take it from there.

OKay, You're doing great on closets! :!: :)

Waving to CathyS, Helia, Nancy, Kathryn, Lucylee, Booksaver, Harmony, Twins', Sadie, & Harriet & those I've forgotten. Have a good day. :D

Pinto beans cooking in Instant pot for dinner.

Watching a movie instead of taking a nap experiment was a failure. TV and/or movies don't keep LO attention very long. When I asked if he wanted to stop watching the movie and take a nap he instantly agreed to it.

Hello, villagers ~
DH and I are having a very quiet, relaxed holiday.

Kathryn ~ I hope you are feeling better this afternoon. How exciting that you finally get the keys to the new place this week. Have they completed all the renovations you wanted?

Okay ~ How will you season those pinto beans?
