Lots to say but I need to head back out to WW. I'm not worrying about what I weigh today. I've been sucking down water all day because I've been out in the heat running errands. Mind you, it's only 90 degrees here.

Cowinkie, I've heard that foot recipe and I'm glad to know it works. I have a whole large bottle of another mouthwash tho. Maybe I'll try to find a small bottle of blue listerine somewhere.
I look around and think .....why can't I keep up with stuff? I need to GMAT and get things done.....but I'm always busy doing something else.
I'm echoing OKay's words....I didn't write the time down for each errand but it was nearly two p.m. before I was done with dmom - there's a story there too.

Agreeing with OKay about possible issues with her dmom's mental state. Wow - does she remember this hissy fit?

Elizabeth, thank you for taking care of little kitty-babies! You are a trooper. And good for you for greeting X inlaws and showing them what a class act you are.

Got 2 lol done. Was not happy with the dryers (again). Had normal sized loads in 2 and neither load was dry when the time was up. I managed to pull out enough almost dry things and combined the rest and set the dryer again with another $1.00. I will write the office and tell them my experience is not good. This has been several loads now. I had hoped it was "just me". Not. Went down & got another gal whose washer had stopped & told her to finish using my dryer when I took the clothes out in another 15 or so. Someone might as well use that coinage.

Noticed while I was sitting there that the cottonwood tree (messy things they are!) had a limb hitting the roof of the laundry/bath house. Called dh after I noticed that not only was it touching the roof, but it had also lifted the shingles on that side. His work (like ours) is never done.

Wonder what I'll have for dinner. Sure dh is not eating much yet. He did eat some split pea soup for lunch. Went to the dentist this morning as he had a real sore spot in the back from his new plate. Dentist thought the area where he had to pull teeth was coming along well. Have to find out when his appointment is next week as I have a mammogram I think Tuesday morning.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Home again.

Went room to room in the apartment and made the list of things I have to do before the move. It is long.

We then exchanged the kitchen cart and picked up some back ordered items and immediately returned them since the things I got at Solutions are better.

Finally we came home and I started dinner and tidied the kitchen some.

Exhausted and still have lots of packing to do tonight. But I have a written plan and that helps keep the panic down.

Dd's stuff all arrived today. We offered to take them to an early dinner but didn't hear back so left it and came home instead. Better for us, anyway. Dsil says the place feels really small now. On the plus side, Ds's captain's bed (made by my dad for my sister, 55 years ago) made it up the stairs at the new place. She is graciously storing it for him until he has his own home again and it didn't get up the stairs at her old place so ended up in the living room. She made it into a couch by tearing apart a couch left at the curb for garbage and putting a pack and sides on it. It's high (36") but works well and was a favourite place for her friends to sit.

Surely I didn't.

Nahhhh......I wouldn't

It is surely not possible.

My favorite boots are missing. The ones I wear almost daily. Yesterday I put my tennis shoes on to walk first thing in the morning. I had a full schedule and was busy doing other things and had to scamper out the door to be on time.....which meant I didn't change into boots. One of the things I did manage to do yesterday was load the whole back end of SUV up with 6 bags of STUFF and dropped it off at goodwill.

Last night and today I've searched the house over and over...and over. LO has searched for me too. The boots are no where to be found.

where OH where could they be???

Then the thought hit me......did the boots get mixed in with the GW stuff?

I want a DO OVER!!

Sing it, Sister! I could make that my personal anthem. ;) And the "something else" is rarely anything fun, and usually some*where* else ...

I hope you find your boots.

Elizabeth ~ That certainly sounds like your ex-in-laws are not setting a good example in manners for their granddaughter. Even if they were too tired to walk into McD's to see you, they should have been more friendly when you made the effort to go out to greet them.

Bless you for taking such good care of the poor injured kitty.

Ivy, thanks for info on Country Living report on kitty litter for henhouse. I did hear of it on the backyard chickens site, but there were concerns about the dust bothering chickens breathing, or the chance they might ingest it, how it clumps in moisture. If enough people have good experiences with it, though, it could be something experts start recommending. So far, most of what I read says wait and see.

((OKay)), what a stressful event - even for you and you weren't there. The cash registers would ring up the current price so no manager could have made her receipt reflect her sale shopping the way she wanted, only take money from other proceeds. If she cannot reconsider her ultimatum, I hope she will not start planning long driving trips for grocery shopping at less familiar locations .. ... not good.

Elizabeth, that is a strange experience. Does new wife expect them not to like you or something? Still you wouldn't think they would cater to her expectations when coming face to face with you? I can hardly see a way that they don't feel badly about the way the encounter went. Of course you would tell your parents. ((little confused kitty))

(((OKay))) Any chance you left the boots at the walking track? Or the MPB?

Dinner is done. It is good to eat homemade food. I need to clean up now though, and then get going on the packing. I will make a cup of tea since I'm craving a soda and have had two so far today (plus a lot of milk and not enough water.)

Dang, my credit card is in the car and dh has the car now. So I'll have to remember to dig it out from under the seat tomorrow. (There's a note attached to the tea cupboard to remind me.)

Dinner is cleaned up. I was watching netflix and am just working on my first box now. I feel like I'm wading through mud. My legs are sore and my days seem endless. Only three more sleeps in my bedroom here (and just 5 more in the house.) The waterbed has to be emptied and disassembled on Saturday. Not sure how I'll sleep in a regular bed for 2 nights (and then our first nights in the apartment will be on the air mattress until the waterbed heats up.

All right, break over, back to packing. I'm working on my SHE cabinet, the cupboard dh built for me to keep on my SHE system. It is a funny one with two drawers and two cupboards in the corner of the kitchen. I appear to be blessed with a funny cabinet with two drawers and two cupboards in my new kitchen as well so SHE cabinet things will go there. It is nice now to be packing things and knowing where they will go in the new place. No more speculation.

:D Well, it's certainly a Do Over Wednesday for me! :!:  I got up early, did s2s, then DH left to work in the woods. I did 1/2 of round one:
- master bathroom/bedroom
- kitchen/gr8 rm/dining room
- my small office/main/guest bathroom

Then, I dumped all the trash, took it out, but DH grabbed the heavy bag (he was here by then) and put it into the garbage can. I rested, couldn't get "going" to work on a handwritten story, and DH did s2s, said he was going to town to get my prescription/groceries. I begged him to get the mail to bring back to me first. He sniggered, about it, then DID get it. No letters, but my Current pkg. arrived + a catalog for an expensive ankle-length $49.95 Muumuu I get, in various colors, with free shipping. :!: :P But I need to order $60+. I browsed the catalog to find a U-neck pillow, that's soft-looking, light blue, which will match our cobalt accent colors, and it = $60+, so =free shipping. I can order it at the end of the month.

I rested in the great room when DH got back, but he turned music off, so I went to the bedroom, laying beside Kitty Cat, only **I** got the warm thick blanket. (She has fur!) ;) I conked OUT! Now DH is fixing sausage links, hash browns and eggs. He touched on the heat as my office was cold at 68.3* and I was freezing. Now it's 70.8*, so it's more comfy. Oh, I'm real happy with my Current order of stickers, blank cards and b-day card variety packs, too.

I tidied up the office a bit, to make room for the new stickers and cards. I sorted the mail, got the label off the box, put it away, for shipping for us later, when needed, and gave Kitty Cat mail treats, too. I feel like working on that story by hand, too, now. So it'll be a do-over for me this evening, too. It's sunny here outdoors, was overcast this a.m. and will be sunny in the afternoons for the next 4 or so days. I need to run because it's nearing dinnertime soon. He's cooking and dishing up. I only have 2 more antibiotics to go (from the root canal infection) and am so glad, too! :P

Have a GREAT DO-OVER NIGHT! :D
