Cathy: the sticky notes on the cupboards show progress, the more of them, the better. Plus if one fell off, I'd think that cupboard was done if I was removing notes as I progressed.
Back from the apartment. The freezer food is in the fridge freezer now. The pulled pork is defrosting here. The freezer here is empty and unplugged.
We have been using Lilac's method of carrying over bins of food (and other stuff) from the pantry. Seems most efficient and it is easier to unpack 4 bins at a time than have piles of boxes stacked. That will come on Tuesday because my shelves in the kitchen and cupboard pull-outs haven't been assembled. Nor do I have tall shelves in the laundry room so stuff is piled on the washer for now.
The instruments are over except the frame drums. They are small and in their own boxes so don't really need packing.
Dh's dinner is in the oven, mine will be zapped so I need to set a timer to make sure both meals are ready at the same time.
In the meantime, I'll assemble a box and pack the shoes in our closet.

Re: Supportive Sunday
I decluttered in my small office for 1 more hour. The last day on the 2 offices decluttering for 1 hour a day together, is Friday. Tomorrow, I'll be sorting through files, which could prove to be very time-consuming. I have files in a few office lined baskets, in 2 containers (in the small office) and a filing cabinet in the main office, which is also full of crochet pattern print-outs from the Internet. If I'm "smart", I'll sort those patterns on the eating bar
and file them back into my binders inside the page protectors- IF I'm smart.
I wrote DD and Dcousin-in-law. Now I'm starting a letter to a RI pen pal.
DH is watching a new series called "The Hunt," on The History Channel. We'd listened to music for quite some time.
It was so NICE!
I have 3 letters to go, after this one. Then, I'll be done.
A funny thing happened to me. I'd written a short story in the 3rd person, it was rejected, so I re-did it into the 1st person, it was rejected. I looked in Word, but all I saw was the title, no manuscript listed. Guess I'd been fed up and decided to re-write a longer better version from the 1st POV again. I ran across BOTH versions, which got rejected, so now I can glean from 2 versions, use my brain this time and try to get it right the 3rd time.
I put some hand-sewing items into the Bunny Room, out of my small office, too. I have a few craft items in the small office, which I may put into the larger main office closet shelves. I have books, magazines, to put on my small office shelves in place of crafting things I rarely use. The small office used to be a craft room, but most of the items have gone into the Bunny Room, where there is a larger window and larger desk for crafting.
It's fun to find little treasures of grson photos, too. ♥ And old letters, some photo Christmas cards from Dfriends over the years. And to think how cluttered my 4 desk drawers were, too, blows my mind. It's so nice to have them cleaned and organized now.
I loaded the DW, DH put in the silverware, and he ran it. We ate hash browns mixed with eggs, scrambled together, with toast. My toast had honey on it, which soothed my tummy, as I fight against Gastritis lately.
It can be diet or stress, causing it.
Kathryn , When I use sticky notes on the inside of my cabinets, I take about 1/2 - 1" of Scotch Tape, tape it across the top, to adhere them better. If it's on the outside of cabinets, however, depending on how long the tape's been up, you sometimes need to scrape residue off with your fingernail, from the tape.
Dee , How is your DH doing this evening?
Did he get pain pills from the dentist or does he use a saline mouth rinse?
Hope he gets better soon.
Twins' Mom , Your tomato plant sure sounds like it'll yield delicious produce when tomatoes are ripe.
Norma , It's nice to know you're still considered a "Hot Woman."
A compliment!
CathyS , Do you still have rain?
How's the fire now?
Was there a lot of damage?
Waving to Nancy, Booksaver, Dove, Lucylee, and others. Have a great week!
My card for Monday, in my office says MOVE IT MONDAY!

Re: Supportive Sunday
Off to bed in a moment. Just updating my mp3 player to have something to listen to while attempting to sleep. Will only be in bed about 6 hours.
We aren't done by a long shot but should have all the heavy stuff ready to move.
We can always hire someone to move what is leftover. At this point there is no rush to get out of the house so rather than pack junk, I'll take my time with what is left.
We still have to tape up the archive boxes so that will add time to our day tomorrow. I just hope we can stay ahead of the movers.
I'm so sore, I hope I can sleep. Dh is awful sore too. We snipped a bit but we also pulled together at times.
