Re: Happy Arrivals Tuesday
Congratulations to new grand-parents Harriet and HRH! I am sure you are breathing a sigh of relief that he finally arrived, and the best part, you are on your way to see him.
On my Kindle Fire this morning was Diana Gabaldon's new book, 8th in the Outlander series. I can hardly wait to start reading, but I have more pressing things to do before I do that. I need to get my curio cabinet back together and then I can.
Happy Day everyone

Re: Happy Arrivals Tuesday
Finished that round - a neighbor dog charged out and jumped Moses - I think he thinks it was the most exciting thing ever. Macs was down on his back legs and couldn't get himself up to join the fun so I didn't have to struggle with him. I also took out the trash to the street and put outgoing letters in mailbox.

Re: Happy Arrivals Tuesday
Morning and waving to ya'll...
So happy for you Harriet and your family. What an exciting day for all...
My office looks like a tornado has ripped through it...but it is a very organized mess. I've wake since 4am and finally gave in and got up a little before 5. Not to worry as I have accomplished much since then.
Either something is blooming or I am coming down with a summer cold...bet I've sneezed more than 75 times since I've been up. Also experiencing itchy eyes and throat. Taken allergy meds but I don't think it helping much..Only time will tell.
Desk drawers have been decluttered, Left side of my office closet is almost done. I am being really ruthless with what I am pitching. G Will will be glad to see my SUV pull up. As I toss, I just keep thinking how others will be blessed. Makes it easier for me.
Back to it before I loose my mojo. Cy'all later..... You go Twins... I'm right behind you

Me too, Cowinkie, and I've been trying to be quite ruthless. Have a bunch of clothes that "maybe I'll fit into somedayAs I toss, I just keep thinking how others will be blessed. Makes it easier for me.
*****five stars for me -I finally got my mammogram done. Not an easy task. Had 2 techs trying to help me get it all done right -on the left side where my shoulder/arm are not terribly cooperative. It's a painful and not easy process for that side. They had to keep taking it over, but were quite encouraging all the while. Always dread it. Next dread is blood work -probably tomorrow -because I'm such a hard 'stick'. Praying for it to go easier this time.
Happy moving, Kathryn. Will be glad for you when the hard push is over. Sure you'll have things at the house to do at least until it sells. When does your ds come back from Australia?

Re: Happy Arrivals Tuesday
Hello everybody.
Dee, BWTG getting the mamo done. I hope the lab work goes smoothly.
Congratulations Harriet for new baby grandson! You're getting to be quite the matriarch of the family, aren't you?! Safe travels.
OKay, sorry to read about the garden damage, after all the time and effort you've put into it.
I've been working on this project off and on the past several days. Yesterday I got 2 of the 3 rooms done and the 3rd should be quick. The guest bathroom is all organized again and one of the guest bedrooms. I thought there wouldn't be much to do in these rooms, but had wanted to use the dresser in one room and the closet, so as I worked I found a lot of stuff to toss, old containers, boxes, towels restacked in bathroom. It all looks very very nice now. I have a load for the thrift shop soon.
So, Kathryn, if you moved yesterday, is today the day you organize it all? Hopefully the hard work is done now?

Re: Happy Arrivals Tuesday
Harmony...looks like you're right there with me and Dee. I still want to do my dresser and small desk in my guest room, but that will have to wait for another day.
Dee...I am a very hard stick too and hate having my blood drawn. I have very small veins that roll and I only allow 2 sticks per person. If the tech doesn't get it in two tries I pull my foot down and ask for the supervisor to do it.
Two things I have discovered over the years that help with the blood draw...First I drink TONS of water before I even show up and second I request a butterfly needle to do my blood work...its the same kind of needle the techs use on children. The last two techs were so good with me, I've even learned how to watch when they take my blood. Unfortunately one tech has retired and the other has moved to a new Dr. I have no problem being proactive when it comes to taking my blood because I've been hurt far too many times...and drs are usually the worst at drawing blood.
Gotta take a break...I'm tired, may be because I've been up so long, which means I didn't get much sleep last night or I am wearing out from sneezing so much. Either way its time. My closet is 80% done...

Re: Happy Arrivals Tuesday
I'm very tired this morning, have a PODA, but haven't started it yet, nor had breakfast, s2s yet, etc....
I need to sort files again, in hopes to find more writing.
It's sunny here.
There was a H. S. shooting with 2 deceased in Troutdale, Oregon, I believe the town was. Sad that guns have to be used like this.
Going back to watch something "HAPPY" like The Price is Right!

Re: Happy Arrivals Tuesday
Damage is mounting and some is serious. Two pieces that hold a lot can't be reloaded because legs are broken off but the worst is the dining table. He screwed in the support and pushed up through the mahogany table top, splintering it. It will be interesting to see how they handle the repair to that.
In the meantime, believe it or not, on my moving day, which they knew was my moving day because I booked the elevator months ago... a backsplash is being installed in the kitchen today. So I can't unpack a thing since the only counter space I have will have backsplash behind it. Seriously?????? The apartment has been empty for over 4 months.
