Off to see a play with dh. We get to ride the bus to this (probably cheaper to drive and find parking but less hassle this way.)

Went to Walmart, got yarns, fiberfill, garlic bread for DH & Dgs, & DH's hot chocolate for his coffee. He prefers a special brand.

I now have an empty laundry basket, have done LOL on & off all day, except for our Walmart trip. It was nice to get out again.

Dgs took his car for a drive, to make sure it'd start up after sitting still for almost a week. (It'll be a week tomorrow.)

When Dgs goes home, I'll wash towels & blankets & throws.

Dgs & DH will have hash & garlic bread for dinner. Since I have Gastritis now, I'm not allowed to eat fatty or rich foods. I'm going to have a healthy Lean Cuisine dinner instead. I feel less pain by sticking to my restrictive diet. At least it's good for feeling a bit better & losing weight, too.

It's raining here, we got caught in a downpour in the adjoining county, but in our county, it was dry.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LUCYLEE'S DGS-2! :D

I belieeve.... (said with the conviction of Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall) that ChuckECheese should be off-limits to uncles and aunts who are considering having children, so they won't lose their nerve.

Stuff I think is encouraging... ...

There is a two-week "grace period" after sites close in which members have the same access and can read and retrieve further if they so desire. So even when we move, the door is still open to run back in and get one more packing-box. :)

There's more than one way to shine a penny. (I like this phrase because I can't type the more common one in front of Tobias.) And we have The Best Minds working on how to retain as much of our site as possible when we do move. We already have so many more options than we did, say, when WebForums closed back in the day.

Several old friends have said "hey" (check Across the Table Cafe). (btw timid sends her thanks for being kept informed.)

Dgs-17 goes home tomorrow. He'll drive home around 11 a.m. Then, Dson/Ddil & family will vacation for a few days, over the 4th, & drop Dgs-15.5, the wrestler Letterman & writer, on the 5th. :D He'll stay until the 12th. He's such a great kid. They ALL are exceptionally nice young men.

Need to get ready for a later dinner. Wanted DH & Dgs to eat first because I wasn't up to food at the time. It's Lean Cuisine for me tonight. And this marvelous new fresh baker whole wheat bread. Oh, my. :!: They did a good job, we brought it home warm, & it's so wonderful with almond butter on it. :)

Might crochet, read, & take it easy tonight.

Have a great Friday night. And a good weekend, too. :D

Home from play. Commute was easy and we even got an errand done along the way and still had a 20 minute wait before the doors opened.

Got a great line to share with my minister friend. Got a better sense of the people I'm thinking I'd like to make my alternate congregation. They have service once a month so we hope to go soon, must friend them on FB.

Am very sore from the walking though, almost 2.5 miles in all. Am icing my foot and rolling it using a frozen water bottle. Feels good but just for short periods. Think I'll start to bed now.
