Re: Sidetracked Homemakers Saturday
Thanks Kathryn. I'm not really pleased with this one but I tried the old one and a couple others and apparently they were all just a tad too big. Sometime I'll change the coffee cup.

Excellent! Thanks for all you're doing, Kathryn!
I feel so stupid now... all this time I've been fighting the .org, thinking THAT was the OLD address... LOL... now I remember y'all saying this was easier to remember b/c it was .org for ORGanized....
I'm a little slow...
(Sorry I got you confused, Harriet!)

OH -- belated happy birthday to Helia!
Your birthday is the day after dgs's, I think. His was the 26th, but we couldn't celebrate until last night.

I did change my name back to the one I used for years.OKay -- (did you change your name?) I don't know about you, but I was EXHAUSTED after a couple hours at Chucky Cheese
>>>nodding head<<<< I totally understand the CC exhaustion. I don't understand how I'm becoming used to it, but after a half dozen or so trips to CC in the last few months it doesn't bother me near as much. Maybe I've just learned to expect the huge energy drain?

And we appear to be back up and running.
We updated 8 versions so heaven knows what differences we'll find!
I'll look for a pretty purple option for the screen in the next few days. The blue drives me insane.

Lady M...how did you get your phone to reconnect? When I put in the new .org address in my search it brings me back to the old addy.

Cowinkie - I suspect is was so easy on my phone because I use chrome browser on both PC and phone. Chrome browser is configured to sync on whatever device I use. Since I had already visited this .net site on the PC, the phone browser knew about it. I'm not an iphone user so I have no idea what to try.

Re: Sidetracked Homemakers Saturday
Kathryn - THANK YOU so very much for taking such good care of this forum. Your time and talents are greatly appreciated!! And THANK YOU also to Ken & DD the Great!! What a great team you make.
I've sorted through a box of DDaddy's old papers. DMom found the box recently and asked if I would go through it. Lots of newspaper clippings about our little town did this or that from when DDaddy was Mayor. I did find one newspaper clipping about my Grandpa receiving his purple heart 60 years late. I'll scan in the most interesting ones and return the box to DMom. Maybe my brother and/or sister will want them.

I second that Lady M..Kathryn you, your dh AND dd have done an amazing job with this move. I am so impressed.
Think I'll wait for tomorrow to figure out the phone thing.
One more question Lady M...when you changed your name did you log on as a new memeber or is there a secret button I can't find ??
