We ate dinner, after we put away the dry towels. DH filled the DW & it's running now. I've been crocheting, researching on-line, holidays & their dates. I need to ice my left shoulder next. (It's my surgery one.)I worked on my calendar for awhile, read 2 letters, & need to get a.m. clothes out. I have a few things to get done before bedtime. I might take another rest, too.

I think you, K & K, :D :D & your DD :D & Lady M. :D have done a wonderful job, too, helping us all move into our new home. :!: :!: :!: The moving-to-a-new-home seems to have happened to physically IRL, for you, too. You've done a great job.

I stuck with my same old cute kitty because the other Avatars didn't fit, which I picked out. I love the kitty, although it's boring me a bit, but I'll keep her. ;) I like kitties.

I'm installing some alternate styles so you can change the background of your screen. The blue was driving me nuts.

It takes about 10 minutes to install each so it is slow going.

I picked several and have already tried and rejected one. It was pretty, purple, and designed for Lucylee because its name was Tara and it put the word Tara at the top of the page next to the board's name. But unfortunately, it was graphic intensive and slowed down my computer a lot.

I'm currently using Alpha but won't keep using it once some of the other purple ones are installed.

To change your page background you:

1. Go to User Control Panel
2. Select My Board Preferences
3. Choose My Board Style from the drop down menu
4. Click submit

Not sure I'm doing these styles right. The board name doesn't appear at the top of many of them.

Nancy, your old avatar is on its way to you now.

The light on the timer just went off. Time for me to finish up and go to bed.

:D Thank you, Kathryn, for showing us how to choose our board style preferences. I think it's super! :!: :P You've worked SO HARD! I hope you get a good restorative sleep tonight, too!

Planned out my weekly calendar here, at BWP. It sure helps to have the week all listed in from of me like that. Reading others' plans helps, too. Good ideas. And reminders, too. :D

Thanks, Ken, Kathryn & your DD, Lady M. & Mods, too! :D

Thank you Kathryn, Ken, your dd, LadyM, mods and anyone else involved in moving us. It is really appreciated.

My dh tried for over an hour to get me an avatar with lilacs and was unable to do it. We were both surprised that he was unable to accomplish it because he is very computer savvy. Me, not so much. In fact, that is an understatement.

It is so nice to be in our new home. Maybe we will have some lurkers decide that this is the time to join us. When you moved the last time in July 2008, I made the leap and have never regretted joining this wonderful group of dear friends.

Thanks for the old avatar but on this tablet I cannot save it. I tried up loading on from my camera but it was too big. Are there some canned ones here I can use for now!
