I'm making good progress. I'm using google tasks & OneNote to keep me on track. I'm s-l-o-w-l-y transferring my digital card system out of one large excel file. After many years of faithful use, that excel file has become cluttered to the point that I don't like looking at it. When one way of using P&P cards system looses it's effectiveness, then I find another method of tracking the cards.

Next up -
** Lay down with LO for 30 minutes
** log incoming papers
** Make Lemonade for DH. Since he has started drinking lemonade his kidney stone pain has GREATLY decreased. He hasn't needed to take pain meds in over a week. coincidence?

MYSTERY!! It's so nice to see you!!! Massive hugs from Cabby! (Many variations of the name... Wild Cabby, WildSHE Cabby, etc..)

Lady M, I love the return to the old name, because sometimes the newer one would make me forget you as Lady M> Thrilled to see the name again.

I was totally bummed when I thought I couldn't get back in here yesterday.

Now I guess I have to get up and do something.

Glad you found us, cathyS!!

I'm off to run errands. a.m. routine is done - except for making the bed.

Errand list:
- Walgreens
- library
- drop off band notebook and tags at other band parent's house
- groc. store

I think I'll save Tarjay for tomorrow, maybe the groc. store too. I'll be out all morning tomorrow (8:30 - 12:30-ish), tutoring and then a meeting, but I can run errands in the afternoon.

I've switched the laundry twins and made alot of phone calls. Needed to set one up for DH that conflicted with mine. So moved mine and made his. He was supposed to have blood drawn this week, but had enough drawn last week. So had to call GP about where to request those results.

Haven't found kitchen counters yet, but it is nap time. Chicken out thawing for supper.

Glad to see old friends on the board.

TOTH CI: Didn't get crockpot started yet; meat is thawing in the microwave. Roast will be for tomorrow's dinner, though maybe... usually I'll do a roast in the crock and serve it as a roast one day, then turn the rest into shredded beef sandwiches, but it's so hot, it's hard to imagine the usual roast and mashed potatoes and such. Maybe French dip sandwiches? Anyhow, I think tonight will be fried rice.

Does your dd18 have a regular physician (ped or otherwise), helia? When we couldn't get the paperwork from dd's allergist last fall (long story of screwup on their part), our pediatrician came to the rescue with paperwork and prescription.

Would agree that the occasional PM is a good idea, Dee. Some of us (who, me? ) could use the kick in the pants. Glad to hear your dgd19(!) is doing well -- I think dd is about the same age that your dgd was when the girls met her.

Thanks for the greetings, Lilac! I've missed you guys, too.

Waving to MT and Cathy/Cabby!

Quite the move, Kathryn!

Do you think it's something to do with the lemons, LadyM, or just that he gets more fluid when it tastes good?

Have spent most of the past hour helping/providing moral support for DH jumping through the hoops online to renew his teaching license. Just one more of those things that the folks who don't think teachers work for a living are blind to. *sigh*

I know it probably looks like I slept in until noon or something bad like that, but--- my Internet here at our home wasn't working because DH needed to plug a cable back into an Internet hole on the Modem so I could get on-line. We had various problems, while Dgs-17 was here, too. I had to wait until DH came back from the woods & showered, before I could get on-line because I don't know what hole's what one to use!

I got up early, s2s, etc.. later ate, sipped herbal tea, emptied the DW, stripped the bed, washed, dried the sheets & made the bed fresh. I took the garbage out to the can, instead of DH needing to get it. He was so tired from the woods today. I put away towels, had a snack, fell asleep & took a call from DH's Dr. office, for his physical tomorrow. I had QT, wrote in my journal, read on my Nook Color for a bit, changed into red knee socks, red tee, red floral skirt. I didn't watch TV or listen to music or radio for 3 hours. I just wanted to enjoy the silence. I had lunch, DH fixed the modem & here I am.

Hello, MysteryWoman. Nice to "meet" you. :D

Hi, MT, I agree, it's fun to see old friends (who I don't really know yet), on the board now. :)

Helia, What's Tarjay? :?:

Hello, CathyS. Glad you showed up, too. :D

Nancy, That's a good idea for me, too, to go through topics and look at various forums. (I replied to your PM)

LadyM, That is was cook about the kidney stone pain relating to less pain meds. I wonder what it is in lemonade that does this for him. :?:

Waving to LadyMaverick, Twins' Mom, Kathryn, Dee, & Harriet & those I've missed, too. It's time to get the mail, I'm expecting a pkg. of yarn, so need to go. Have a great day Everyone! :D
