Back from camping - kiacking the truck and ice chest is unloaded hens are fine. We have unpacked but there are loads of things to put away and lots do yet. Watching netflicks w h. While I take a breather.

Home from the rest of our errands. Made sure they took us over the new bridge that opened today. It would have been much more useful if the bridge opened on time but at least it is open now and creates a nice shortcut for us to get home from the senior's home.

Visited with my senior friend who was feeling much brighter today.

Ended up staying an hour after church to talk with people. Dh had come to the rescue with a handkerchief for me during prayers (that's when I was crying.) I had just made the announcement to the church as the new minister expects concerns to be raised before prayers, not at the beginning of the service which he prefers to be joyful.

Dh is working on putting up more artwork and we mounted the mirror over the stove. Yay! We now have the view of the hills while cooking. Plus we've got use to have a mirror over the stove and I really miss it.

Manage to do that round, and feel better that things are cleaned up. Physically I feel weak, so going to break, then go again.

Ice chest is empty we salvaged the ice.
We have put away most of the stuff not it is back to the rg. Dig out mode found the bed.

Went to the thrift shop beforecoming home found stuff for dson & families gift basket for Hannauka yea! Blue theme cup dish towel flower pot will work great! Got a how to draw book too.

Set of cappuccino mugs for me too. A blast of a weekend!

I didn't take a nap, read or watch the broken clock. Instead I
** updated online church group with info for upcoming ladies retreat, VBS, next Sunday's picnic details, and today's service.
** Txt with DFriend on church responsibilities I will be doing for her in August while she recovers from surgery. It has been awhile since I did the audio recording so need to get back into that mode and iron out the kinks.
** uploaded pictures to online family group
** took a phone call from another person interested in purchasing MPB. Answered his questions and arraigned for them to make an onsite visit.
** confirmed picking up DNephews tomorrow to take them to their Great Grandma house/VBS. This will be the very first time 4 year old DNephew has attended any type of school and his parents are a waaaay more nervous about it than he is. I told them I would monitor him in VBS and make sure he is okay. They aren't concerned that he might cry or be nervous, but they are concerned that he might run amuck and not listen to teachers. I don't think this will happen because he is really well behaved......for a 4 year old boy who hasn't met anything he can't climb.....and can talk more than LO.
** processed MPB daily gross and have it ready to deposit into bank.
** wrote about a dozen 3x5" cards for LO. He is drawing pictures and writing letters to various people and continually ask how do you spell....this word....and this word...and this word...and this word.... It is easier for me to write the answers onto a 3x5" card for him to copy rather than s-l-o-w-l-y spell the word while he write each letter.
** monitoring DH and tracking time for him to take next dose. He is having to take serious pain meds because kidney stone is on the move.

My green-eyed boy2 made our church morning delightful by getting so tickled during the children's message that he chuckled loudly all the way back to our seats, which are on the other side, across the front of the sanctuary. Hearing him heading toward her in baby-giggles mode got our pianist tickled, too, and by the time he walked by her, she sounded just like him. So there were smiles all around.

After a lot of hints and nudges that I've been trying to ignore over the past few weeks, our guitarist has come to me and flat-out asked me to help with singing and song-leading when our choir director leaves. Ya'll know... ... I don't even have to tell you. They don't want someone who can't stay focused and unemotional. So, worried about that.

Choir director's dh has taken a teaching job at a university many states away, and she will be sorely missed. She thinks her contribution is in leading. She's wrong. Her contribution is a voice better than most anyone you would hear in a local setting. The difference in her singing and just about anyone else's singing is a great chasm. Sometimes the preacher's daughter does a good job, but she's marrying and moving away, too. Sigh.

TA_DA's....
** made a trip to MPB to settle an argument between 2 customers. One customer called me complaining about another customer not following "the rules". That customer took it upon herself to call the other customer a few derogatory names and demand he do what she said. ***VBSigh*** I'm sure the hot weather (100+ degrees) doesn't help with the quick tempers. I found myself wanting to put both of them in time out....... However, they did settle down after they both told me their version of the incident. All's well that ends well.
** picked up VBS enrollment form and delivered it to DNephew cattle barn. Parents have to sign giving DMom & myself permission to pick up child from VBS. We can deliver him without their permission, but we can't pick him up unless it is in writing.
** made/served dinner. Bacon & tomato sandwiches.

I hope this week turns out okay. I don't think I said anything about it here, but DMom fell on Thursday and had to get 3 stitches above her eye. Then on Friday she was backing up in our driveway but instead of going straight back she veered about 10' off of it and just kept going until she hit a tree. She wasn't hurt, but It rammed her bumper out of whack and now part of rear wheel well sticks out. Doing VBS with Great-Grandkids has her so happy and excited. I just hope and pray it goes well.

Good Evening, Village Ladies....

I'm very tired today, have been baby-stepping our day, on and off to:
- Phoned in prescriptions.
- Printed up a new medications list/appt. list for my Dr. in 1.5 weeks.
- I cleaned the kitchen counters.
- I washed the dining room table place mats.
- I dumped household waste baskets.
- DH did the toilets.
- Helped DH put away a few groceries.
- Tidied up my office and great room end table.
- DH emptied the DW.
- I remade the bed nice-looking.
- I wrote my Monday's "to do" list.
- I wrote a to do list for different parts of the day, working on my writing job/housework at the same time.
- I had QT, did my journal exercise, and wrote in my journal.
- I wrote 2 new pen pals and have a Get Well Card/letter ready to go out to DD in tomorrow's mail.
- I set my dawn simulator.

Later:
- I'll eat dinner, take 1 pill and supplements.
- I'll get out my clothes for tomorrow.
- I'll try to crochet on Granny squares.
- Would love to read on my e-reader, write down what I've finished reading, to delete from my reader, as long as they're the free books.
- Will do my QVAR, Peak Flow Meter and then will wash the meter.
- Want to see the late news, floss, go to bed about 11:20 p.m. after the weather report's done.

Harriet, Sorry you're losing such a good leader at church. And the preacher's DD, too!

Twins' Mom, It's good you're taking breaks and it's always a nice feeling-better time when things are done and cleaned up. It seems to make us more relaxed and feel more energy, too.

Kathryn, I'm glad you now have a shortcut to get home from the Senior's home. Glad your senior friend was brighter today, too. It puts a smile on the heart and face.

Bittersweet, It's terrible your dgs's bike got stolen.

It happened to me as a kid, but Dmom "knew" who took it, she hunted him down and came home with my bike! As I gather, a distant cousin stole them and then tried to trade or sell them, but my Dmom didn't put up with it one bit! WTG, Dmom! She was a bear when she needed to be!

Lucylee, What is a bar piercing that Ddil has? I just can't quite "picture" it.

Dee, Peter Pan's themed birthday party for your dgson sounded so unique, special, and fun for the children. It put a smile on my face.

Harmony, I hope your business smooths out for you, too. Do you seem to work a lot more during the summer months, as opposed to wintertime? Or does it pretty much even out during the year?

Sunny, Today DH told me Dson might not be able to move closer to us. He may get a promotion up Northern of where they currently live, which would put them moving further away from us. It just depends upon which store opens up with a promotion for him first. We're hoping it's the one more South from them right now, nearer to us. I hope so!

Dinner is consumed and cleaned up. Dd and dsil are back home (dh drove so they could stay later) and ds and I did up the dishes.

Talked a bit over skype with his girlfriend before letting him go chat with her. Normally he calls long after we are in bed.

I'm really sleepy. I actually got woozy tonight while making dinner and had to sit down and turn the last task over to dd. It was hot in the kitchen and bright (no window treatment) and I had low blood sugar and probably not enough liquids in me. My pain level was very high and I was tired. All of a sudden, I felt quite ill. Turned on the a/c in the dining room, sat at the table and had two glasses of water while the others finished up dinner.

I can take pain killers tonight. Not sure about tomorrow.

My prep schedule is awful because of my late procedure on Tuesday (it is after noon.) Tomorrow, I have to start the purge at 6 p.m. (after clear liquids all day) and then take the laxative at bedtime (!) and then do the second purge 6 hours before my procedure (except I don't know the time of my procedure, just the time I'm to be at the hospital.) Yet 4 hours before my procedure I'm supposed to stop all liquids. That gives 2 hours for the purge to work and stop (because you have to drink all the time you are under the effects of the purge. Since those effects can last up to 4 hours, it seems there are 2 hours in there where I might still be under the effects of the purge and still have to stop drinking.

The times just don't add up as being possible. Not to mention the fact that it is an hour long drive to the hospital, assuming all goes well, so we'll be leaving just after the effects are hopefully over. Needless to say, I'm concerned.

Dh hung more paintings today. There's still one I really don't like but the rest look pretty ok. There are still more to go up but that will have to wait. I just didn't have the energy to guide him.
