I saw Mystery and Kathryn on line at the same time, I hope we're not crossing paths in starting out our day!

The li%t has been a hit lately, with Dee suggesting 10 things recently and FF and Bsweet making lists for different times of the day. I need to get myself organized for the day so a list of 10 will be forthcoming.

I've already called the vet today to ck in about meds for my dMacs so I need to hang close to my cell phone for a call back.

I am feeling human again today. I ate a peanut butter banana sandwich around bedtime and it felt good. I didn't sleep well, however, so hope for better sleep tonight.

Hi everybody!

My brother just texted me that we have another viewing this afternoon, so I will go up for that one. Possible open house this weekend.

I have started laundry. It must be needed when I dream about having to climb over a mountain of dirty white towels to get to the bathtub.

Also doing a bit of book sorting.

Good Morning, Village Ladies!

I've already dressed, eaten, taken pills and supplements. Was awake at 4:30 a.m., so got up. Then, at 5:25 a.m., my cat brings me a mouse, I start screaming and wake up DH. He donned on gloves, running after the mouse, but the mouse got away and ran into MY OFFICE! So here I sit, with my cat coming in and out, wondering if a mouse is going to crawl up my leg, yadda-yadda!

Today I'd like to:
- Write on 2 stories, on and off, but don't need to sent them until Aug. 1, so if I don't get around to them, that's fine. They are handwritten out and I can "baby-step" logging them.
- Read on my greeting card market book, writing for greeting card companies and learning a bunch of new stuff.

Housework:
- Dust the main office
- Sweep the crumbs up in the dining room
- Make the bed again or wash the sheets again.
- Sort laundry, but there may not be enough to do.

Personal:
- Get my Dsis' sun hat in a pkg. with a b-day card and letter, to ship this week.
- Crochet on Dgd's Granny squares.
- Delete the free e-books I read on my e-reader last night.
- Sort the mail when it arrives.

Have a GR8 Monday to do day! Hopefully my cat and I can find a roaming mouse. It's in here because the temps are 88* - 92* outdoors and it wants to cool off.

I'm up, s2s, breakfast, meds & bed done. Been picking up tracks here and there, as I go. A 3-minute round robin should have this place looking spiffy at this point. Except perhaps the bath. That may take me a bit longer. I should take a lol up to see if there's any open washers/dryers in the laundry room. Being Monday morning, that may be very 'iffy'.

Dh went back to the dentist for another adjustment today, but those visits are getting longer in between. He figured if he went today, if he needs another trip before we go away he can go on Friday. So nice that our dentist is so flexible (and can I say again "inexpensive"). He really is a wonderful dentist. Hate to see him nearing retirement age.

For the life of me I can't figure out why I sent a pair of dh's good shorts to the storage unit a few weeks ago. I had been looking for this particular pair and dh happened on them yesterday while getting out the multitude of "Christmas" lights and things. (It's Christmas in July here on the 26th). Didn't really decorate last year as that was when dh was in the midst of recuperating from his valve replacement. Oh, but he has plans for this year. Since we'll be gone the first half of next week, he wants to get going on it -but has precious little time.

For those of you who commented on DGS2's Peter Pan birthday party -it was an absolute "BLAST" (should have posted this yesterday) and so much fun for young and old alike. We adults thoroughly enjoyed watching the younger set (including those young teenagers) enjoy everything that ddil had prepared. Where DOES she get the energy? And ddil is no spring chicken -this is her "2nd" family. Her own children range in age from 14-22. I think she pours herself into things for dgs even more after losing dZoe.

Trying to decide if we want to leave Sunday and go by way of our home town to visit dAunt/dUncle. DAunt is the one 22 days older than me. We never did get to see them in FL last year. She's more a sister to me actually.

Turned on the sprinkler in the back yard.

One of the new hens has figured out the egg call with her first egg!
I will be referring to my bwp list I keep in the back of my journal.

Oh, I don't need to avert, Twins'! My ToDos are here with me, too, and quite important on this Monday - they are just in the form of short tasks on delightful cards, and a 5x5 plan!

lucylee, my question would be hair - wouldn't hair get caught in the parts of the arrow and bug a person? Or at least keep the design from being visible... ... I've heard that the piercings in that area (cartilage) hurt lots. But like you, there is a part of me that just has no opinion since I care zero about piercings. I sense that there are so many types of piercings happening these days that the trend is coming to its apex and will fizzle in favor of something new that catches the "identity attention" of some trend-setter. It may be easy for piercers (is that a word?) to change over if they fall out of favor, harder for those with exposed tatooing, when it becomes passe. And are we not all thankful that even neon hair grows out.

I think Johnny Cash's list is perfect - that's just about the right amount of detail to write down on any one line-up of tasks!

Sorta disagree with the idea of Benjamin Franklin being much of a list-maker. He was a scheduler of time and a great record-keeper who charted progress on his goals, though. I have greatly admired him since learning about him in high school.

Also wondering about Willis this morning.

I really should have walked ddogs instead of waiting for call back from vet; the day is getting hotter. I am expecting 10 a.m. delivery of new couch and chair so need to be here at home, which pushes dog walking off later in the morning. They are impatient beasts.

-find fitbit (misplaced on Saturday in this house)

The story of the woman's strategic approach may be apocryphal but prioritizing is the way to go for sure.

Add another SHE wondering about Willis.

I'm starting to get hungry. Sigh. It will be a long day (although I started the day late, getting out of bed just before nine, so I see it is 11:30 already.)

I just made up some jello/gatorade popsicles, lemon-lime with orange jello. No idea how they'll taste but decide I'd probably need something more than the jello I'm having now. I've only had green tea so far today so should probably have something with sugar to help stave off starvation.

I'm trying to get the service ready to send to the church secretary since tomorrow is a complete right-off. Instead, I keep going back to writing the sermon, which also needs to be done but seriously is not the priority.

Ds is off with dfs and then lunch with another friend. There are ribs in the crock pot for dh and ds's dinner tonight. Dh is avoiding me because it is apparent I'm in a mood.
