Re: Monday To do
Until RR gets here to tell about Willis, he is doing fine. Mr. Guy just talked with Sweetie and he was sitting beside him and doing good. We can stop worrying about him - at least I can.

Re: Monday To do
I think I finished that round, also took ddogs to walk and accepted delivery of the couch and chair/ottoman. The couch looks more gray than green in this lighting; dh kept calling it green and I kept saying graphite or gray/green. It looks big because it is higher than the old couch but I think we will get used to it. The chair and ottoman is gorgeous!
I had to sit down for awhile - it is so hot and humid today and I was so hot from walking ddogs.
This round:
-straighten up MBR/bathroom, look for fitbit
-fold several loads of laundry
-call the guy about the built ins
-respond to email re back yard firepit patio
-purge refrigerator/add to grocery list
Ahhh, good news from Norma about Willis!

Re: Monday To do
Norma - Thank you for Willis update!
VBS pickup and delivery went well this morning. The energy level was off the chart HIGH!. When I arrived at DMom's house with the boys, she was still in her night gown. We will see if this is too much for her. But regardless, the 3 cousins made some good memories with their Great Grandma this morning.
When I arrived back home, I realized LO had been wearing a holster & gun (play) before we left home this morning. ARGH!! Was he still wearing it? In all the high energy excitement, I couldn't remember. Sooooo - I made another trip to VBS to take care of that. (he wasn't wearing it).
I've made doc appt for LO to follow up on his UTI.
I've called family doc and told them DH is ready to be sent to a Urologist. Family doc is out of the office this week, but his staff is going to sent DH information to urologist. Now we wait to see how long it takes to get into to see one.
Next up -
** process bananas into freezer (for smoothies)
** prep lunch.....once I decide what we will have!
** 3 minutes general tidy in dining room

Re: Monday To do
So Far:
- Read on the greeting card marketing book.
- Dusted the main office.
- Cannot sweep the dining room because the crumbs are not on the wooden floor now- they're on the rug, so DH will vacuum them.
- The sheets are washing, soon to make the bed.
- Am washing whites.
- Prepared Dsis's b-day card and pkg. to be shipped this week.
- Deleted more free e-books from my e-reader.
- Ordered a 2015 Novel & Short Story Writer's Market Book.
- Used inhaler at 4:45 a.m. b/c of terrible asthma attack.
- Did my journal exercise, wrote in my other journal and had QT to music.
- Wrote my Tues. "to do" a.m. list
- Washed my peak flow meter.
- Set my dawn simulator for Tues. a.m.
- Sorted the laundry.
I feel like I'm beginning to wear down, as I woke at 4:30 a.m. after 6 hours of sleep. Perhaps a short nap this afternoon, after DH returns from getting firewood, will be in order.
I'll report more, later, trying to make it before 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
LadyM, Glad you have a follow-up appt. for LO on his UTI.
Nancy, Will you make applesauce with those apples? If so, when Dmil made hers from scratch, she put in vanilla and almond extracts.
Twins' Mom, You're very productive today!
Norma, Thanks for the Willis update.
Kathryn, Good Luck!

Re: Monday To do
Hope FFriend and Nancy feel better.
((Mr. OKay)) it's so frustrating.
Happy for Willis and hope he can forget the night soon.
My lantana is so sweet smelling today - you would think honeysuckle was in the woods blooming. I am going to remember to water and fertilize it tonight. It is the only flower I have blooming outdoors right now.
Dd has a friend coming over of the male variety so this will be a different, briefer visit, lol, although I wouldn't want to take care of even one of her usual girlfriends for long in this situation. His knee was badly injured a couple weeks after school was out and he's been on crutches for a while, taking some rough meds and pretty much bedridden at home. So I hope he feels well enough for this. His ddad says to expect him to want to stay on couch and watch tv, which doesn't sound much like he's healed yet. I'm sure he is sick of his own house. We're interested to hear about his school plans, since he opted for the transfer to early college track that dd decided against.
Twins' Mom, yes how wise! Top three priorities, lol.
Oh dear, Kathryn is being apparent.
Well, anybody would have some moodiness, I think. Clever remark erased. A little more respectful response may be in order, perhaps... Ahem. I can only duck and run so fast and I'd have to sprint on this day, I imagine. ♫Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I love ya, Tomorrow, you're only a day (and a haaaalf) aaaaway.♫

Re: Monday To do
Yes, I think Kathryn is permitted this mood for today. Not a fun time.
I am done again - already got back the approval for the firepit. Dh had marked approx where he wants it - I went out and moved our chairs to outer edges to make position and took two photos - one facing the house, the other looking out from the house.
I also had lunch, since I had my head in the refrigerator. The guy I called about built ins is in Alaska so I'll call him back week after next. I'm still waiting for a call back from our vet, but I think he takes a break around two and I suspect he will call then. I found the Fitbit in the drawer where I keep workout clothes - I was pulling things out to find something to wear to gym on Sat and must have dropped it in there.
-go upstairs and assess dd's room and linen closet (ewwwwwww!)
-straighten linen closet upstairs
-sweep and clean up the portion of back patio that is not covered (need to do before sun gets too hot)
-refill meds containers
-water plants in back of house

Re: Monday To do
Thanks for all your concerns about Willis....Norma, you're too funny
and to think at first you were afraid of him. When we walked into the vets and were being checked out by the assistant, the first thing she asked was if Willis was friendly. Didn't take her a second to figure him out. This is the third time we've been to this emergency vet hospital and I just can say enough about how wonderful they are there...
Will and I had a very rough night...I took him into the guess bedroom and climbed into bed with him. His hacking with some foam at times went in cycles. He'd hack for 5-7 minutes with me massaging his lower sides trying to give him some relief. It appeared to me that something was going on in his diaphram area because as he hacked and heaved they violently constricted. I swear as I massaged him I could hear him sigh in relief. Then his body would relax and he would smuggle up next to me.
This went on most of the night with these attacks happening every 30 minutes or so. I don't know how his body went through what it did. It reminded me of when kids get whooping cough and the body gets so racked out. Around 4:30 he got off the bed and wanted to go out...coughing and spitting up stuff all the way out. Then he got back to bed with me and fell into a very sound sleep.
We finally got up around 7:30 without any attacks inbetween, and though he seems tired, appears to be normal...no more coughing, spitting up or anything like that. He was hungry so I scrambled him an egg which he wolfed down. He hasn't wanted to drink any water, but I remember another time when he was sick he didn't want to drink water then. I ended up added water to his eggs and thats how I got him back to drinking again.
When I let him out this morning he went running around as usual...then he came in the house and rolled around on the floor. I'll be keeping a close eye on him today, but so far so good. I don't know if he ate something that made him sick or what. The vet was great last night and told me Willis might just recover, but the vet never saw how bad Willis was at midnight. Had I not been able to get Willis to relax I would have taken him back to the vet in the middle of the night.
My day is now out of wack. I am ready for my trip but wanted to get my toes done today. That aint gonna happen...I can live with it. I didn't sleep much last night...it was just like when my son was small and sick so I know ya'll have been there....Just gonna take things easy as I have to get up at 3:00am tonight...my flight leaves at 6 in the morning so need to be at the airport around 4....The lines will be small and so is the terminal that I fly out of, but because I keep hearing that the security has been tighted I don't want to take any chances....
