This is what I am taking care of today. Back from errands. Paid auto. Lisc. It is a fun errand bc the coffee donut shop bakery across the strees has a used book shelf I found one. Walked a couple of blocks got a gal milk and visited a new antique shop called "The Clucking Hen". I will go back I have my eye on aprons for gift baskets. They had home made goat milk soaps too. A bit pricey not the colors I wanted but a viriety of scents rose that I love and fun items tea set & kitchen wares that made me think of yesteryear.

Dishes are going I collected eggs for this morning. Hand wash is done.
Sweeping & mopping floors done inside.

Dogs are walked - Macs took a slightly longer walk and seemed quite engaged by it. I let him wander where he wanted other than heading him back toward the house. I know he misses some of his longer walks.

This time:
-get temple financial statement ready (try not to spend too much time on it....)
-review emails and respond as needed (don't get bogged down)
-reboot laundry
-make the bed
-straighten up MBR

If I head out on errands/workout soon I will end up at the Y during the lunch hour, which is typically busy, so I need to delay that a bit. Perhaps should eat early lunch also...

Using my tablet to distract me during the drive which is the only part that scares me. No washrooms along the way. I now have extreme sympathy for those with bowel issues. In my case the hospital is an hour away although eventually I will get a city doctor who uses the hospital seven minutes from the apartment.

Since we are already half there a registration attack on the village has proven to be a great distraction!

We have had to disable registration for the time being. If you are lurking and thought you'd join today - sorry.

Yup, that was some excitement scrambling around to take care of spambots. I have renewed respect for IT folks who have to deal with that type of thing 24/7.

Kathryn, if you want more distraction, check out this blog
http://self-sufficientinsuburbia.blogspot.com/

The blogger includes lots of fun videos about gardening, hens & ducks, beekeeping, making jam, etc. I find his voice quite soothing, and I like that he doesn't hesitate to show his failures as well as successes.

I am the most easily sidetrackable person I know. Just saying.
Those done. FINALLY….along with about a dozen other cards.

Next up -
** Open about 6" stack of mail. Put out anything that must be handled immediately. Put other papers in stack to be logged.
** Take care of immediate paperwork requirements.
** Start lunch prep. Chicken & Cheese quesadillas with large green salad.

:D Good Morning, Village Ladies! :D

I re-made the bed, did QT, journal writings, and got writing to do today, so I'll be busy.
I'm on my way to get breakfast, pills and supplements.
We have an on-shore flow today, to cool the morning down.

Good Luck, Kathryn!!! :!:

The temple f/s will take a little more time than I want to spend right now so I am moving on. Otherwise, I am done with that round. Lots more to do, however.

I am heading out now...
