Re: Tuesday - Separate or consolidate?
Heard Air Canada has also cancelled flights to Israel as well.
I'm 3x as productive as yesterday. And that's so far - there's still 5 hours until bedtime!
I've:
1. Done all the mending - my seam in my shorts, my purse strap and dh's 'trunk' for his bike. Also tidied all my sewing supplies because they were tilted in the move and all jumbled up in their containers. The sewing machine set-up on the dining table works just fine (no surprise to most of you but I've always had a table dedicated to my machine despite the fact I don't sew.)
2. Watered the plants and trimmed my cut flowers and put them in fresh water.
3. Ordered a new music keyboard and an extra phone handset. Would have ordered three of those but Costco only had one in stock. Will try again in a few days.
Also helped dh with the music for his service. He didn't want to take me from what I was doing (bless his heart, he actually thinks I'm doing things around here!) but it helped me to plan the music for my service since we are both working to the lectionary.
Now we are off to visit my cheery senior in the hospital. First, I should call and see if she's still there.

More laundry is going now.
Upstairs was one giant hot spot so I got after that when lunch was over. Toddler n has been picked up by her granny.
I need to spiff up the kitchen again.
Had to heard the sittin' hen out of the empty nest box and in to the one with eggs. I need to get some from folks that have a roo.maybe I can trade a dish cloth.

Re: Tuesday - Separate or consolidate?
Fixed pills, had lunch & supplements, am drying #2 last LOL, and helped put away Costco groceries.
Sorted the mail, 3 items went to the burn bag, for when the burn ban's lifted.
DH got frosted jumbo cupcakes, for him and Dgs-14. I can't manage that stuff. White sugar causes FM and Gastritis pain. Better to avoid it.
Pulled a side/rib muscle area on the left at the waistline.
Put Icy Hot Roll-On on it. Hoping it'll work. Hurts to walk even.
DH got me a jacket, but it's about 1.5" too narrow at the zipper, so he needs to buy an XL. I thought
it looked small, must run small, because I usually wear Medium/Large in tops now. He's put it in the trunk, to return on Thursday, on their way to "Spiffy's" out I-5 South at the Morton cut-off. Dgs-14 will have bug-eyes when he sees the gigantic portions they serve there. He's a very good eater, is a big kid for 14, and there's no problems feeding him at all.
I am on my way to re-write index cards for a SHE/Control Journal for routines for a.m., afternoon, and bedtime. Will search here for more ideas, need to come up with a BWP for me. But WHAT do I do????
Our plans change from week to week now. Now that DH will be finishing up his wood-getting on M - W - F a.m.'s, I'll need to come up for a new routine for myself, let him do his "own thing" and just deal with it. I guess the main thing is for me to adapt to my own BWP. Leave him alone because he's totally "spontaneous" and decides at a drop of the hat he's going out to shop, run errands, etc....

-- FF -- just our traditional stop anytime we're in Atlanta.
Back at the ballpark now.
Saw a movie this afternoon -- Obvious Child. I think on a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 4.

Re: Tuesday - Separate or consolidate?
Back from our bike ride and visit. She is being moved to the rehab centre downtown tomorrow so I'm glad we went today. Depending on how long she'll be there, we'll go visit next week.
After the visit, we biked to a Chinese restaurant that CM and CF had recommended but it was closed for summer holidays. So we biked down to the main restaurant drag and biked along there. Within a few blocks dh spotted a place so he went there and I biked on to a Subway and then home. Beat dh by a long shot, probably by taking the back street to the bike paths.
Dh is watching a movie so I think I'll move to the bedroom and watch some tv.

Re: Tuesday - Separate or consolidate?
Hi everyone! I am trying to type with a kitten on my lap. Unlike a full grown cat, they move a lot and think nothing of pushing or climbing on your arm. I made it to art class this morning, where I finished a 'logo' for the one eyed kitten, kind of an advertisement for her. The car overheated AGAIN on the way back. Not all the way to boilover, but enough to pull over and wait and add more coolant. I have a call in to my friend who was a mechanic for Chevrolet for years for some advice (rebuild/repair vs replace). I am at the computer, so I obviously was not totally stranded, but I am getting REALLY tired of this.
I had a late lunch, which led to a migraine that is still plaguing me, curse it! I did study some Java while eating, so that was fun. After that, I drew a card from my crisis clean jar and cleaned out the passenger side front of my car. I really thought I had gotten all the spaghetti sauce from a spill a while back. Apparently I was wrong. The floormat is in a LOL that I need to flip shortly.
I really need to get on those job applications, but my head hurts. The good thing is that while I was CUOPing, the pain level decreased. I imagine there is also some STRESS involved with it and coming here helps.
In answer to the title question, I have separate lists. My todos for the day, a pending with more long term stuff, a crafts ideas/projects list, the crisis clean jar (will go away after the first week of August), and of course the job search master list. I am still trying to decide if this is effective for me.

Re: Tuesday - Separate or consolidate?
I have separate lists. 1 is for Christmas crochet, 1 is for daily "to do-s", 1 is for stories to outlines, write, etc.... I need to make a list for activity because my Dr. wants me to move more/exercise more/get in more activity. A list is in my organizing journal and I also have an on-going master to do list in a steno pad. CEO suggests keeping one in her book, "House Works," by Cynthia Townley-Ewer. I put on the date I wrote it down, the item to get done, then ate the day I do it. She suggests keeping the list, to browse through from time to time, to realize what you do seasonally, monthly, etc...
So I have separate lists, plus a calendar reminder system, too.
My allergies are acting up because Dgs and I went outdoors for a minute while DH was riding the riding lawn mower.
Feel terrible.
I was fine until then.
Dgs-14 had dessert, I missed washing 1 of his white socks, so he now has an orphan sock, but will wash it on Thursday. Or Fri., depending on how many socks he brought with him.
T-storms are supposed to be here tomorrow, along with heavy rains. DH and Dgs are glad because they want to sleep in, to the falling raindrops and not get wood tomorrow. There's only 1 more truck load to get and then everyone's finished.
Have a nice evening, Everybody!

Re: Tuesday - Separate or consolidate?
Hello again! I have finished one job application. My head still hurts, but enough time has passed since the Tylenol that I can take some migraine meds and will do so shortly. Other things to do: eat snack (while studying Java), flip LOL, cat care, me care, crisis clean 15 min, and take trash and recycles to curb. I'm OFF to get meds!

Re: Tuesday - Separate or consolidate?
DMom is all settled back in her apartment. She is very happy to be back in her own place with her own things and her privacy.
Since I had the cooler and blue ice packs in the car, I stopped at a grocery store before leaving her town. That will save me one errand tomorrow.
I got home much later than expected so I'm glad I had planned cold salads for supper. They were quick and easy to throw together.
I made a DPC this evening. I've been trying to relax and watch tv but can't seem to find a show that will hold my attention.
Hmm, that probably means I should go up to bed early tonight. Maybe the little mystery book I'm in the middle of reading will be more relaxing.
Thanks for the url, Twins'Mom. I'll have to check out that site when I'm not so tired.
Lilac ~ Yes, DMom is pretty amazing. I think she has more energy than I do!
& also Harriet ~ It was DMom telling her nurses and physical therapists about going to the senior center twice a week for exercise classes that made me get more serious about my own workouts. I had already started doing a little here and there, but after she fell I decided that if an 85-year-old could go to a gym twice a week, I have no excuse whatsoever for not using my videos here at home. I don't know how long it will last, which is why I haven't posted in the H&F thread ... but I've been motivated this month.
