Sadie, I noticed it by linking from an article about it by The Daily Mail in London. So, viral indeed. But thanks for letting us know it was "your" Wmart - I didn't know. We are protective of that one. :) Sad to see one of the items had to be Huggies. But when someone removes his license plate, even if he (and she driving?) are buying (stealing) partly for a baby, they obviously set out to do wrong.

Back at the ballpark... Had some pretty heavy rain pre-game, but looks nice now... And MUCH cooler!

Toured the Fox theater today. Just google it. Oh my... It is AMAZING. Dh had been in it but I never had. Just amazing. AND -- I could not believe it -- they had Gone with the Wind playing during our tour. Previewing it for this weekend's 75th anniversary showing.
This is NOT the theater GWTW premiered at, btw -- I knew that but didn't know why. Why was because GWTW was not a Fox studio production -- only Fox films were shown in Fox theaters until years later.
Tomorrow is another day.

Lucylee, I've been to the Fox a couple of times for events - it's very impressive! Ds is going to the ball game on Sunday with his BFF Z who is in town for his dad's wedding.

I feel productive today - temple, JCC, Mother's house, hair salon to buy R oux Treatment & shine leave in conditioner, plant nursery for orchid pot and planting medium, then voted and went to WW and stayed for meeting. Was up .2 but could have been much worse given the last two weeks since I've been there.

   car problems

I heard back from the auto repair place. It's not the radiator, that would be cheaper by 200. It's the water pump for 709, bleah. The car will have to stay overnight too. So ... no art class tonight, no knit/crochet group tomorrow, no lunch with friends tomorrow (if they are lunching), and no cathouse volunteering. I am assuming that it will be ready by 6 for my church dinner and a friend's party. I am not sure how I am going to get wine and a gift in time. Might not happen. Shouldn't have waited till the last minute I guess.

I did have a lunch from my freezer and studied Java. I also pulled DD12's room from the crisis cleaning jar and put 15 minutes in on that. Her bedding is in the laundry, must remember to flip. I cannot find the floppies I wanted to copy. I may have thrown them out, having no way to access them. Mistake if I did, but not the end of the world. I downloaded a manual for my microwave because I was trying to remove a part and could not figure out how. Turns out it is not removable! That information was on the same page as information on the grease filters and how to clean them. I didn't know I had grease filters to clean! So, I went to put them in the dishwasher. No can do. For reasons that elude me, the previous owner removed them. I can order more for $23, but am feeling broke. I put it on the household pending list.

I'm already in a bad mood so I might as well pay my bills and update my checkbook. Then, maybe I will look at my investments, to see where/if to move some money. That is generally cheering, but the money is not available until I retire. Maybe I will study more Java too. That puts me in a good mood. (Yes, I am weird and geeky).

Checking in to say hi to everyone! We had a storm go through our small county mid morning. It lasted almost 2 hours with lightning and thunder that rattled the windows. The official rainfall was about 1 3/4", but we had standing water in our yard more than that. Out on Sand Key Beach, where we swim, there were a couple of lightning strikes; one hit a man, but he will be all right.

***Dee, hopefully dsil can get a new letter of recommendation for his former supervisor, and his job hunt will be more favorable. Sending good thoughts and prayers for dd & dsil. I hope dgd16 is having a good day, and wish her lots of success with her 2nd family.
***Harriet, good to hear your hens are well this morning. Did you have bad storms today?
***BookSaver, I think it would be easier to entertain 11 kids, rather than just 1 -- and it would be more fun for the kids.
***Lilac:
He said is was like a room with a thousand eyes.
I can just imagine that! LOL. Our little bedroom, the one dgd16 slept in when ds#3 and ddil lived here, has a narrow shelf about a foot from the ceiling all along two walls. We still have all of dgd's stuffed animals on those shelves. She still uses that room when they visit us.
***Harmony, did you get a lot of rain today? Hope you didn't get caught on your errands.
***Nice to hear from Helia having a relaxing vacation.
***Have a safe trip home, Lucy.
***Nancy, that must have been a strong windstorm! I'm glad the fires aren't near you!
***Elizabeth, I'm still sending successful job search prayers your way, also. Sorry you car will cost that much $$.
***((Kathryn & dsis)). Enjoy your new keyboard!
***Dee, you have me beat with your wedding dress. Mine has been in a dress bag in my closet for 46 years -- never took it to be cleaned! :(
***RRose, sorry to hear that your dfriend lost her dh! Hope your visit with dmom and dcousin was good and you learned new things about your dfamily.
***Sadie, hope you had a good day at work and no shoplifter excitement.
***Twins' you did get a lot done today!
Hope I haven't missed saying hello to anyone!

The sunset this evening is giving the left over clouds a bright, creamy orangy glow! Reminds me of a orange creamsicle.

Okay, lists, plans and routines all went straight out the window as I attended the birth of my 4th grandchild who made his debut this morning weighing in at 9 lbs., 7 oz. and 22" long. This boy is a big baby! He will not fit in any of the newborn outfits and will go straight into the 3 month clothes. LOL

Finished up the credit card accounts, all are fully reconciled. I need to email ds with the bad news but at least now I know what he owes us.

Right now, ds can't receive emails, though, because the internet is still out at the house (the septic guys cut it due to it not being marked. The cable company doesn't mark lines because it is cheaper to go repair than to go mark it.) Poor ds is completely cut off since he has an internet phone as well. He does have a cell phone but it costs a fortune to use because he got it for emergencies only and texting.

We sang all evening (over 2.5 hours) with the tenor from the church. I'm exhausted as is dh. I didn't sing the whole time, I was pulling chits and matching them to the credit card bills so I just joined in on my favourites.

Before bed I'll print off the bank statements for the past few months so those accounts will be ready to do in the morning. Not near the volume of entries to reconcile so that should be easier. I had several pages to each bill for our main credit card. Moving is expensive!

CONGRATULATIONS, ON THE BABY DGS, EJAGNO!!! :D

I read a comic today. 2 ladies are walking past a clothing store. 1 lady looks at the 2nd lady, says "The only clothes for college that I can get into nowadays is my graduation gown!"

DH & Dgs-14 went to Spiffy's for larger-than-life portions lunch. On the way South on the I-5 freeway, DH was driving in the right lane. All-of-a-sudden a car, speeding about 120 miles per hour, raced by him on the RIGHT-HAND SHOULDER!!! :!:  :o  AND then 4 State Troopers were in the far left-hand lanes speeding down the freeway after him! :!: DH said he about killed them, doesn't know what he did, besides speeding, and it wasn't on the news. :?: But they had a lot of fun. :D :D

Tomorrow's the official last wood-getting day of the year, for winter wood getting. :) :) :) The guys and dgs's worked hard. :!:

Worked on a story by hand, got to the "magical" 10-pages, wrote 1 letter, did 2 LOL, and read. Took a nap in the recliner this evening. 8-)

Sunny, That was some storm! :o WOW!

Lucy, Enjoy your trip! 8-) That place you gave me the link to (The Varsity?) looked like a great place to eat at! :P

Nancy, I'm glad you're safe from the fires. :D Sorry about that wind though. :o

Helia, Your vacation sounds so awesome! :!:

Elizabeth, Sorry about your car costing so much! :( Good luck on the job searching though! :D

Waving to Twins, :D RamblinRose, :D Sadie, :D Dee, :D Harriet, :D Kathryn, Harmony, :D Lilac, :D LadyMaverick, :D and Booksaver, :D and anyone I've missed.

Big congratulations to you, ejagno!

Glad to see Ramblin' back safe.

HRH and dstepson mowed today. That was helpful.

I exercised a little, showered, dealt with email from dcousin to let me know all the effort we put in the other weekend was probably for nothing. Sigh. Feeling frustrated about that.

Evening Daily Card is completed well and I should not be up now. So off to bed.
