Happy anniversary, LisaB & dh!!!

I think I missed someone else while I was away, also... ??? Must cuop better...

I don't have time to really cuop and post right now, but I did put a new question in my MO "UNTIL..." thread and I would REALLY appreciate your thoughts. It is sorta a "survey" to see how other people have handled the division of household goods. Please offer input if you don't mind. Dbil is... being dbil... ...... and yes, dh is being dh...

I really hit the ground running this morning and haven't stopped yet, but I must cuop and I must fill y'all in all the day's doings later.
Best thing is, ds is now the owner of an extended cab pick-up! HOORAY for THAT. I have typed up the bill of sale for dmom b/c her printer is dead... so after ds gets that signed tomorrow and takes his title to her, this little trade will be OVER. Hooray hooray...

But the problems ahead for dh and dbil... please do check out my last post over there. Thanks in advance!!!
Tomorrow is another day.

Dinner's done, DW is running, and I did a blooper.
I used my peak flow meter, which showed I was having an asthma attack.
I grabbed my QVAR inhaler, used it without the spacer, which is meant for maintenance, 2 times day, 2 puffs and NOT for an asthma attack.   I got out my regular asthma attack inhaler, used it, so feel better. Just stupid.
The #3 LOL is put away. I loaded Dgs-14's box with the waffle iron, bunch of bananas (they cause Gastritis in me & cause DH to get heartburn/gas), and cookies. :D So the bananas and cookies will be gone, which is a good idea. They're going to a home of 9 people/kids/babies.
DH is watching the Mariners play. So is Dgs.
I might write 2 letters I owe, this evening. 1 gal's a bit negative, but she's a widow, seems to be a "SHE", to me, is overwhelmed and in pain, so housework is harder for her to get done. She takes breaks, which is good because health experts talk about "pacing" ourselves between work and rest anyway.

LadyM, It's so nice to hear DGS17 is doing so well. :D Nice you went to dinner, too.

Kathryn, Enjoy your Dsis when she comes. I hope your DH has good traffic on the way home.

Rambinrose, Are you in the desert SW? Is that what "Haboo" is? The wall of dust they show, sometimes, on the National news in Arizona? :?: Or do they occur in UT and NM, too? :?: Hope you'll be okay!

Nancy, I'm glad your hens had a party today.

Dee, I'm glad dfriend is the type of person/"mom" she is. She sounds perfect for dgd, IMHO. It's good for her to learn lessons like this. It can help turn her into a lovely young woman, too. Miracles do happen. Hope is a good thing, too.

Harmony, That was terrible about your pump cost. :!:

Waving to Lucylee, :) Sunny, :) Sadie, :) LisaB, :) CathyS, :) Booksaver, :) and Twins' Mom. :) If I've forgotten someone, please excuse my error. I'm getting old. :!:

Dh is booking the trip now.

I've finished the sermon. It only took an hour once I sat down and started but that's mostly because of the prep work I did this afternoon and over dinner. Dh loaned me a pen and by the time the check arrived, the sermon was outlined completely. And I still like it (always a good thing!)

Will let it sit overnight and then see what editing is to be done.

We stayed home from the concert tonight just because I wanted the chance to write and didn't think it responsible to go if I didn't have a first draft done. There is another show tomorrow night and I found a place with free parking.

Now to head to bed, very late, but accomplished. Since dh hasn't started his bedtime prep, I'll start my physio exercises.

Ramblin', that looked amazing in video. Hope you can shake the sand out tomorrow. Get a good rest tonight.

LadyM, dgs' presence in home with dd and dgd might be a positive influence.

It feels like I have had company every day for forever. Tomorrow dstepgd comes along with at least her ddad. In a way they are not "company" but the agenda is already planned (trip), and so the day is taken up completely. The next day church will probably lead to visiting one way or another. I am starting to begrudge having no time for my own projects. I used to be a creative person, but I have forgotten my place on any creative project by now.

Well -- I've just got to post my ta-das for the day -- and send some "feel better" hugs to Harriet!
Also must say I love dgd's new mom's style, Dee! WTG for her!

Today, I started out with all my morning routine except the two 15 minute sessions. I had watered the hydrangeas and s/s both bathrooms when ds arrived to walk.
I REALLY needed to walk since 4 days in Atlanta = almost 4 lbs on the scales.
Walked 2 miles
Talked to dmom
S2S
Errands
Bank
Post office
Dbil s office
Antique store
Drug store
City hall (to drop payment in drive thru slot)
Dmom's to meet ds
Called tire store
Went w ds to pick up dmom's truck
Found out dmom's truck has 18" wheels and ds's has 16"
Grumbled a bit -- me, not ds... He said, well it's not that big a deal...
(He REALLY wanted to keep his nice fairly new Michellins, but figures he can get another year out of dmom's Bridgestones.)
Typed bill of sale for dmom... LONG visit...
Supper
Reconciled bank statement.... Ugh...
1 load of laundry done
--- whew ---
Tomorrow is another day.
