Good Afternoon, Ladies...
I got up around 8 a.m., was doing fine, s2s, etc... then started 2 LOL. After lunchtime, I got sick, which matches sore ribs, which I woke up with.

Now my tummy's nauseous, I don't know why,

since I've been eating healthy.
I got a short story done by hand, which will be a great one for grandparents.

Now, I'm about to write a lady who heads up a ministry called "Sunshine Friends," and we all send out Thinking of You, Get Well, Birthday, Anniversary and holiday cards, to others on the list. When you sign up with them, you pay $5/year for a list of names/addresses/and preferences in cards to be sent. It's fun.
I finished reading an e-book on work-life balance this a.m., then ordered another one, to get a different viewpoint, it's only .99 cents, and is written by an expert who travels talking to companies, their employees on balancing work-life daily. It's a short e-book, 25 pages, but it "seems" that each page = 4-ebook-pages long.
The last LOL is drying, DH just fed the cat, we got towels put away/hung, and tomorrow a.m., we're getting up no later than 6:15 - 6:30 A. M.!

DH hopes to return home around 10 a.m. I might hold off doing toilets/trash/kitchen counters until tomorrow, after DH leaves.

Our dgs-about-11-yrs. is such a sweet boy. He wears dark framed eyeglasses, looks so brainy, and says such cute things. He's a middle child, in between 3 teenage brothers and the 5.5, 3.5, and 19-month old. I'm looking forward to giving him undivided attention. He hadn't wanted to come, but 1 of his bros talked him into it, then he got all excited, and just HAS to come now. ♥
It's sunny, in the 80's here, I got 1 letter, and tomorrow's temps will be about the same. I got in a little nap, while listening to music. My ribs are feeling better. Am thinking about having some strained plain Greek yogurt, to help settle my tummy.

I'm kind of excited about dgs coming, about getting my stories hand-written from the outline index cards, doing snail mail and reading my e-book. This evening "Cedar Cove," is on the Hallmark Channel (based on Debbie Macomber's books), so I plan to crochet while it's on.

I'm on row 6, my first goal is row 20, so hoping I get to it by Sunday night.
Twins' Mom, what part of the body does dMacs need to exercise at PT?
I was thinking the other night, prior to drifting off in bed for the night, how I've had PT for 1- the back, 2- the shoulder, 3- knee, 4- ankles. That's practically the whole body. The only thing I can possibly see PT for now, is right hip pain, as I've got osteoarthritis in both hips. I'd rather get it stronger than get a hip, at age 62.5, as if I'll need one, I'd rather do it in my 70's. Because, I hear they replace them, after so many years.
Kathryn, I hope your Dsil gets well soon.

That's too funny about thank heavens for DS because he reminds you of what normal people are like. Oh, my!

Dsil is sure drinking a LOT of "stuff".
Harriet, I feel for your dsecondmil's plight. Oh, my. It's so hard with your dstepfil's dementia, too. Clutter is so hard to get out of there and done and over with. It's so much work. Sorry about your headache. I hope it's gone by now!

That radio program on parental abandonment came on at the wrong time for HRH! I'd be talking back to the radio, TOO, if I was him.
Oh,
LadyM!

LO saying that to his body, when he woke up this morning was so precious. ♥
Booksaver, It sounds nice to go to your DSis's annual summer party. I hope you have FUN and figured out which top, out of 3, to wear.
Nancy, Do you have smokey skies in your area anymore or on the horizon, is there a haze?
Dee, Were you able to find that book in paperback anywhere?

There were 2 at Barnes 'n' Noble's site with 1 on the left you could buy and the Nook e-book on the right. I bought the Nook e-book because I wanted to read immediately and not have to wait on the shipping time. I hope the book, by the same title, on the left, was paperback. I read more on that book today, thinking 'Dee's going to really love this book!' while reading it. He makes references to diabetes, etc...
I liked the opening,
Kathryn!

It's like taking a clipboard, pencil/pen in hand, going to the front door, and you pretend you're a realtor, write down improvements in the appearance of the house, before your first official open house, right?

Then, you put them onto cards, get them done, and you not only are clearing your HOUSE- But you're also clearing your MIND. A Dr. once told me, while we were discussing FlyLady and SHE's, etc.. "An orderly environment yields an orderly mind."

It's so true. If there's clutter everywhere, you're mind is cluttered up with bad thoughts, negative self-talk, and talking to yourself, which just is not healthy for you. When we clean for company or a new season, we have such a good image of ourselves because everything looks so much better. That's when I almost feel "normal", although I've got 2 shelves in the office closet that need work, yadda-yadda..... But when our homes are ready, we seem to be empowered and ready for anything life throws at us; unexpected company, any emergency, be it health or the weather, and things like that. So clearing, seems to me, to be a catalyst in gaining control. What a neat tool P & P invented for us all.
NOW my tummy's feeling better!

I guess I just needed to sign into the Village, post to get CURED!
