Not a productive day here. I was up too late last night reading the message board I mentioned several weeks ago, then got up late this morning with a headache. I took dMacs to PT at 10 a.m. and since then have been pretty nonproductive. Took a nap trying to get rid of headache also.

I need to head out to temple, federation and then dmom's. Nothing going on the rest of the day, perhaps I can eventually get productive?

Got a bit of paperwork done but not near enough. Folded the laundry and had lunch while watching tv.

Next up, pay a bill I found. There is a benefit to going through the piles on my desk. I'm just so slow at it, though.

My scales were down this a.m.

I'm on my way to do LOL, since I've had a 1/2-hour nap now.

DH is on his way to the luncheon, for retirees from the plant soon, will grocery shop and pick up prescriptions, too.

Dsis says "things" have calmed down, in their family and feels it's the "eye" of the storm. But on FB, Dbro is remaining to post positive things about family and be upbeat, now that the storm's seemed to blown over about a sarcastic in-jest post about Dmom, which made her angry. It's nice things are more peaceful for them all now.

It's cloudy here. We'll have occasional light showers. None so far though.

I want to crochet on Dgs-5.5's afghan and write letters today.

Lunch is done and dishes are rinsed and loaded into the dish washer now. Helpers broke two of the eggs today sigh. Not as stormy here today sun is shining so that is good news. We were due for some good news. We made cookies this morning. The banana muffins are out of the oven and cooling.

Good afternoon everyone! I have been to art class and lunch and am now at my computer. I have been printing things that failed to print yesterday due to running out of ink. My printer is strange: when the ink level gets to warning level, it stops until you acknowledge the warning, then allows you to continue printing. However, when it is actually OUT of ink, it carries blithely along printing illegible pages with no warning whatsoever!

I am here procrastinating on typing up the animal org notes/minutes. I have 16 pages, small writing. Bleah. They must be done by tomorrow, but I want to get them at least almost done today. I have a church meeting tonight, after which I will feed kittens (and dFosterCat14) their meds, and get the stool sample. This will be a matter of locking them in my bedroom and reading until some of them produce and collecting. YUCK!!! Not my favorite part of being a foster. DFosterCat4 was coughing a few times, but has stopped. I am hoping it was a 'something is stuck in my throat' cough rather than the start of something serious. I have had more than my share of vet trips lately! Then, I need to bleach the crates and cages they were in when I got them and put them in the car to return them to the street cat org (a separate division of the animal org I work with). This will allow me to get my car in my newly openable garage.

One of the kittens the org thought would never be properly socialized is on my lap purring. And this is the one that came to my house the least socialized.

DD12's first day of school was yesterday. Her IEP said she could ride the bus, but since her step-brother is not eligible, they are both walking, along with the girl across the street and several others. SB was originally in another school based on his dad's residence, but he was kicked out. He has been violent and I am not happy about them staying alone after school. The X assures me that they will be alone for at most 15 minutes based on where he works (most likely true). I have told her that if he is violent to her to go across the street and call the police. The X blames her for provoking him. I say, even if she did, that is no excuse. He can learn to handle his frustration some other way, or he will eventually land in the slammer anyway.

Gotta go type some notes/minutes, can't put it off anymore. BBL most likely.

Nice dinner with TGF and our whole family. Lots of laughter.

Got home. Computer would not connect to internet. If you recall this is why I bought a new computer. Turns out, since I used Easy Transfer to move over my data from the old computer and since then my new computer will not connect reliably. It seems it was a software issue and it has been moved to the new computer.

I am frustrated beyond belief. The new accounting software cost more than the computer and was installed after the Easy Transfer. That means if I roll back my computer, I'm going to lose that install and possibly worse. Quicken was also installed using one of my 3 installs (so I have only 1 left) and I can't recall what else. This is a really bad situation.

I'm exhausted. I have a big meal to cook tomorrow at 8:30. I have a 6+ hour drive tomorrow. I'm not packed. I am trying to install gps software but can't find the driver for it so it won't work with Streets and Trips which I also downloaded.

I did 3 LOL today, while I watched a movie and did Christmas crochet. I also cleaned the kitchen counters, handles on large kitchen appliances and swept and spot-mopped the kitchen wood fir floor. I washed the master bathroom tub and baseboards, but when I came up from the baseboards, I slammed the top of my head onto the bottom of the 2-tiered towel rack. It hurt, I iced it for 15 minutes and took Acetaminophen for it. I felt so stupid!

I got 2 letters in the mail, 1 is illegible, I've told the woman once, I'm letting pals go, if I cannot read their writing. I thought that would be enough of a hint for her, but guess not. Oh, well.

It's been grey and cloudy all day. It's about 70* outdoors now, at 7:45 p.m. and seems muggy to me. DH is running the DW and is watching the silent films on TCM tonight. I'm going to read on an e-book, which I'd like to finish tonight, before the third in the series arrives tomorrow.

I'm so glad I got a lot done today, but have needed the rest. I listened to light classical music for awhile, which was relaxing, too. My movie was a great suspense-mystery drama and I loved it. It was exciting, and it was nice they bleeped out some of the more "colorful" words.

Weary because of long trip, back and forth, taking dd and the other teen back to the museum's teen discussion group for the second session. Very difficult driving in big city, plus you just have to know how to handle certain streets and definitely the highway. Trip back home from first taking them was awful, an hour and 15 mins during what I suppose was the end of rush. After I got home and was sitting with HRH I realized I had extreme shoulder pain, which he diagnosed as a long drive while tense. I actually had to take a pain pill, first in months.

Paid internships will be offered at the museum, and dd says she made it clear she would accept if asked. Other teen said she had been too shy to speak up, but would like that, too. I had them access the drive home, the time it took, and think about it as though they were the drivers. They had to admit it would be a negative to the idea.

Made fondant decorations for dd's cake. Bought room decorations and paper products, except I forgot the cups, sigh.

I think I smell skunk. This would be the second time in just a couple weeks, although we spent Sammie's lifetime without smelling it.

ToddlerN was her until just before eight sigh long day. The other granny did not get her and dgd will be here I. The a.m. bright and early as the ither granny has a stamping party.

We watch 75% of a series that was on net flicks until 8-15 so had to skip some sad we had to fell rused the last 2-3 seasons. Now on a bit a on a bit if over load from that.
