TROPICAL TUESDAY
Well maybe it is where YOU are -certainly not here. It's 51 with a high of 57 today. DD just texted that she wanted dh to get out a sweatshirt for her tonight so I can bring it to her at the airport tomorrow night.
On our way to breakfast -company is going great!

Re: TROPICAL TUESDAY
I'm awake!
Slept and slept and slept. Dh is still congested (it has been just a few days short of a month now) and woke with a start unable to breathe at 5, waking me unnaturally. I eventually got back to sleep around 6:30 and slept through until 8:15 (dozed in between so am not short of sleep but not sure it was the 'right' kind.) I didn't get to sleep until after midnight (brain was wired from the day) so I shorted myself at the other end. I suspect if I had been asleep at 10, I would have been up for the day at 5.
As it is, my 'morning' will be rushed. I'm doing tea and chocolate now.
Dh has book a rehearsal for us at noon out at the second church (I still have keys so we can use it and this saves the Tenor from having to drive into us.) He also booked a doctor's appointment for 1:30.
So my goal for the morning (aside from getting dressed!) is to make myself a lunch I can eat out, get paperwork gathered that I can do while waiting for dh and get something for dinner planned. Between leftovers and eating out, I've only cooked once this past week. I'll bring the grocery store flyers and plan a shopping trip on the way back along with stopping in at the bank to get a money order for ds's rent. I've emailed him for the details.

Re: TROPICAL TUESDAY
We've had a weather change too, Dee. Temp is quite comfortable today and the humidity has dropped. As usual, I need a jump start today.
-walk the dogs
-meds/vitamins
-empty dishwasher and clear kitchen counters
-straighten great room
-s2s
PODA for today:
-report for meeting for this evening
-report for board meeting tomorrow which I will miss
-make challah to take to ds tomorrow
-garage clean up, if time permits
Kathryn, glad that ds has found a place to live and will have additional storage that you can utilize.

Re: TROPICAL TUESDAY
I have fed the hens and chicks 58* here so mild enough to let the chicks out in to the run in a bit.
H. Left for work a bit ago later today.
I need to take my vits. And run the dishwasher. It is smokey and a haze is in the air. A good day to get the I side stuff done. I have 4 roses to plant.

Re: TROPICAL TUESDAY
Well, poop!!! I just lost a long post. Have to get my mouse installed on this computer as I hate the touch pad.
Nothing important in the post - just doing well, thanks for the comments and I've got to get off my duff. TTFN

Re: TROPICAL TUESDAY
Sitting down to take a much needed break. It has been a non-stop type of day. Pedometer says I've taken >6200 steps and I haven't left the house.....and I live in a very small house!
LO is doing much better today. His croupy cough has been replaced by a regular sounding cough. His voice is still hoarse and he has sore stomach muscles. I think the voice and sore muscles are from fighting so hard when waking up from surgery. He is up and going almost like normal. He has constructed and modified multiple tents/forts this morning using a 3'x3' cardboard box, roll of duck tape and a couple of blankets. He finally had quit holding it and "P" which was not comfortable for him AT ALL, but at least that is over. Hopefully the next time will not be so painful. He is eating about every 2 hours and making good choices today, On the way home from the hospital he was so hungry he almost couldn't be filled up - he ate a small cheese pizza from Dominos all by himself! His bandage will come off tomorrow (48 hours). He is to put ointment on every time he goes to the bathroom for the next 2 weeks. I don't know how is he suppose to do that at school and I don't want to keep him out of school for 2 weeks. Not sure what to do about that..... All-in-all everything is going A-Okay.

Re: TROPICAL TUESDAY
Soooo glad LO is doing better!!! LadyM, I hated that I didn't get to post yesterday, but please know that you and LO were in my thoughts! Maybe when he goes back to school, his teacher could keep his ointment at her desk and discretely remind him of it at rr breaks?
I'm still posting on phone so keeping it short.
