but I'm so glad. My BFF had gotten singles, was miserable and still has problems, even though it healed up.

I was so ill this a.m., DH pitched right in, (as he always does!) and he helped take care of the dry towels, mailed a b-day mailer to a DGS, ordered checks, made out a bill and mailed it, ran the DW and now he's mowing!
Me, on the other hand, have replied to 1 long email, printed it up, thinking how wonderful a story it would make, by changing locations, names of characters, etc.. (I did this with 1 of Dsis' emails, too.) But when a family member emails such wonderful emails, which would truly make lovely stories of overcoming obstacles, it's just too good to pass up. Everything's supposed to be based on fact, too. OH! That reminds me!
Steve Harvey's show today is all about the latest trends in dating. I need to watch it, because I get dating characters occasionally. If I know the latest trends, the story's more realistic, for the readers. I like him because he's funny, honest, smart, and I learn so much. I don't watch daily; only when the subjects are something for my personal life or a story. I have towels to dry; dark ones, and after the DW is done, I'll sort the remaining laundry to "see" if I have enough for a load again.
I keep waking up with a damp sweaty nightgown, so regularly wash them, and hoping I can wash them with other things, as it's a long-sleeved nightgown, down to my ankles, which makes it cozy to sleep in, in the cooler temps. I'm going to go work on crochet and write a story out by hand. I've ran scans, DH just came in from mowing, and I am focusing on getting DGS's afghan done today.

I think DGD will look cute in ponchos, in the New Year, too.

It's turning 1 p.m. and I forgot lunch. 
I'll run and eat a salad, to have before I take my supplements. I'll get to work on the crochet, after lunch, and then, snail mail will arrive. Hoping I get what I term "Good & Happy Mail". I'm expecting a book, from a Dfriend, a free book, from a ministry I'm a recipient of, although I do purchase books from them, too, and will enjoy sitting back to read letters- if I get any. I have 1 computer letter, 2-pages, which I can "personalize" for different pen pals, too. I'm expecting a reply, too, from a BFF, who I sent a sympathy card to, because of the death of her Dbro. 
She's taking it quite hard, which is normal, as they and her Dfamily, are so close to her. She's amazing, such a lovely person, and we laugh AND cry, when we read each others' letters,too. It's nice to know, we CAN put up boundaries, when needed, and how we RESPECT those boundaries, and become even more close in the meantime. She's my age, and we're like sisters. I love her and she loves me. I send her occasional crochet gifts and once, her adult DGD kept taking her hat, I'd made her. So! Can't have THAT! I made, wrapped, her DGD's a hat, which she felt in love with. It is called "The Ugly but Warm Hat," but it's NOT ugly. WHY the name, I have no clue. It's a pattern, using an "M" hook, 2-strands of yarn, works up within 30 - 40 minutes, and is very attractive on anybody's head. It's great for a "bad hair day", if you're going to an appt., shopping, or anywhere, outside the house. My last one, for myself, is pink, so I'm going to be getting a LOT of use out of it this month, since it's Cancer Awareness month. Have so much cancer in my Dmom's family, as well as those who have married into our family. I'm rambling, like crazy now. Everyone have a Happy Monday Mojo afternoon!
