I'm too busy to think up something brilliant to open the village.

Re: Sunday PWYC
Got out of bed at 6:15 and got into the shower quickly and s2s. I can do it, I just prefer not to most days!
Left the apartment at 7:01, the parking lot at 7:05 and arrived at dd's exactly as requested at 7:30 (hit a lot of red lights along the way so no traffic wasn't really an advantage.)
Dropped her and dsil at the clinic at 7:46 so that drive went very quickly (the clinic isn't too far from our house.)
Stopped in at two grocery stores on the way home so have everything we need for tomorrow.
I'm having breakfast now (had tea and chocolate in the car on the way to dd's.)
We'll load the car for the day at 10:15 and head back over to the clinic for 10:45.
In the meantime, I'll try and get the broom closet cleaned out so that I can load it with all the cleaning supplies we brought from the house.
The last two we were waiting to hear from re: tomorrow can't come. Am thinking of inviting the minister and his husband so will wait until later to set the table. Have to polish the silver today (but do it using washing soda, salt and tin foil so it is an easy job.)
Dh burst out laughing when he walked into the apartment after the grocery shopping. I rounded the corner and starting laughing too. We have absolutely no view! I told dh that is a good time for me to clean the outside of the plexiglass on the balcony since I can't see down! (Funny thing, it was a bit foggy as we drove from the store but not this bad so it rolled in fast while we were in the underground garage.)

Waiting for dd to be released. They let us into recovery to see her for a while and she was still a wreck at that point but quickly improved. Glad I was able to see her then, though since it means I'll understand her experience better.
We'll take them home and then head to church for coffee hour.

Re: Sunday PWYC
Quiet morning here - dh has gone to work to play catch up since he was away W-TH-F and the market is open tomorrow. I'm working on a.m. routine and need to walk ddogs soon.
Hoping I can do some desk day things while he's away and perhaps some genealogy documentation. The meeting on Friday morning produced a ton of paperwork for me that is time sensitive - the temple is borrowing money for some renovations and I need to do documentation for the bank. Ugh.
Too much like work! I occasionally have dreams that I'm asked to go back to payroll work or that I have to go back for some reason - I have a little twinge of excitement followed by "OH NO" I don't want to spend my time that way.
Jump start:
-throw on clothes and walk dogs
-s2s
-make the bed
-clear kitchen table
-deal with 10 pieces of paper on desk

Re: Sunday PWYC
Hello....Guess I haven't been here in a couple of days; I didn't even turn on the computer yesterday at all.
Talked with ds#2 this morning and he will come a little earlier this afternoon as he wants to trim front lawn, sidewalks & driveway and mow the back yard. His dfam will come a little after; ddil is bringing Chinese food for dinner.
When I signed in to FB a little while ago I saw a note from our Nancy saying she was all right, but couldn't post here this morning. I'm glad to see she was able to get back in, hope all is fixed again!
Yesterday we left the house a little before noon and spent a few hours walking around a fall craft show at a local church. They usually have about 130 tables, some manufactured but mostly handmade crafts. After we left there we went on up to see dfam#1. They had pizza for supper and we brought dessert, chocolate chip cookies dh made Fri. evening and an apple pie we bought on the way up. We had a nice visit and got home about 8 pm. Our doggies were glad to see us, especially after I fixed their dinner!
Daily routine is done, fresh sheets on bed, pick up-put away throughout is done. Next is a couple of loads of wash and dry!

Re: Sunday PWYC
Yes, it's still morning here. I have 35 minutes to go before it's noon. I'm edging a Christmas afghan for a DGS and I'm writing a letter to a pen pal, who wrote hers on 9/29/14. I've been way too busy to reply, as she's a "newbie", so there are more details and info to write her, as opposed to older pen pals who already know all about my Dfamily, etc... She's a lovely person. I'm embarrassed it's taken me so long to reply to her.
Last night, I had my 2014 day planner out. I was writing titles from my planner Oct. goal pages, onto index cards, got through April. But then, I just *had* to go to my office, didn't I?
It was cloudy when I got up, the sun's trying to peep out, and there's a fire in the fireplace (EPA Approved) insert. DH has football on. We've both s2s, too. It'll be a nice relaxing day to football and baseball play-offs today.
Have a great day, Everybody!

Re: Sunday PWYC
We have been working on winterizing the chicken coop and run. Shutters are up and I have the cord out for the light before time change next weekend. Next I will use up the rest of the shavings
In nest boxes.
Then think about getting a spot to put the straw in the shed. I picked off some rose hips and opened them up for the hens to munch on and peck at hoping a few seeds are left behind to grow along the fence.
H is getting mud flaps on the jeep.
I chopped up cheese and bacon for the pizza for dinner.
Glad I could remember where we put the nuts bolts and bits after the out door kit project. In a tea serving tray that had seen its better days I was going to toss in his office.

Re: Sunday PWYC
Unexpectedly slow Sunday here. Stormy too. Great weather for napping, and we were able to, as reported in J&C.
Odd circumstances though. I may have upset the apple cart again, and I didn't even realize I was anywhere near it!
(((Kathryn's dd))) -- AND (((Kathryn))), b/c I know if it affects dd, it affects mom! Hope everything was successful and she feels back to normal ASAP. (I don't think I ever knew the exact procedure she's having done, but anything that requires anesthesia is kinda disconcerting, at least for a little while, I would think.)

IKWYM, Twins! Even though I miss the "routine" and (sometimes!) sense of accomplishment I got from work, ooohhh... I don't want to go back.I occasionally have dreams that I'm asked to go back to payroll work or that I have to go back for some reason - I have a little twinge of excitement followed by "OH NO" I don't want to spend my time that way.

Tomorrow is another day.
