Re: THIS IS A TEST TUESDAY
very nice that your dh is doing that!!! dfriend and congrats on work done
hi dkathryn
hi dbook so happy to hear your car is safe to drive.
I had a rude awaking when going into crawl space. it's moist and the mice (now that we don't let the cats in there) have made things disgusting. Things that I had in thick bags taped with duct tape were completely ruined. boxes had mouse dropping all over them. The old saying - when the cats away the mice will play is happening here.

Re: THIS IS A TEST TUESDAY
Hi everyone! Fast check in here, as I have to leave to pick up DD12 for Girls' Night Out in 14 minutes. I had my interview this morning and I think I kicked butt! I did not have my references with me, but emailed them when I got back. I have eaten lunch while reading a book, run a LOL with my interview clothes and most of the rest of the stuff, and entered some financial data onto my spreadsheet.
Tonight, the X is coming to help me with my heater. I will try to take good notes and put them on the computer so I can find them again. I think winterizing is easier than summarizing. Of course, by summer I expect to be working again, and, if necessary, will pay someone to do it. After Girls' Night Out, groceries are a must (need light bulbs), homework from the phone interview, and costuming. The party is on the 25th, but there is an event on the 18th that I would like to take DD to, which requires costume. So, I had better get my booty in gear.
Harriet: It may be the men driving badly where you are, but that speeder who just passed you was probably me. Was doing 90 to 95 en route to my interview today. Out of habit, not because I was running late.
DeeClutter: I'm surprised your dad gave his rifle to your DH too. In my family, firearms and jewelry are never given to in-law relations in case of divorce. Other things are not considered so critical.
blessedw2: Gee, I wish I lived near you. I could provide cats for you. They could be temporary or permanent employees and work for food.
Well, I now have 3 minutes until I have to leave to pick up DD, so I had better post and run.

I am happy to report that h got the insurance on the jeep after work. We have driven out to the court house by the river to try to get the liscensing done but paperwork processing will take 3-4 weeks.
We moved the trailer back to the spot we will keep it.
I clean the coop and fed the chickens.
Dson stopped by.
Milk run done.
I have a plan for dinner planned left overs.

Home from meeting. Didn't stay for the business part but wanted to be there because the Presbytery minister is leaving and this was her farewell service. It was wonderful.
Packing madly here. Will take bathing suit because great pool is across the street but the pool has lousy change rooms.
There's a lot to be done before we leave at 5:30 tomorrow. It will be a short night.

Re: THIS IS A TEST TUESDAY
Letter to church was about the building project. Neither of us agrees with what they are doing. Since we all pledged, the plans have been radically changed at least twice, and what they are starting within this month is weird to us...especially to DH who understands building. I do not want to go to a church that thinks we are trouble-makers, or maybe they think we're not following the leader in all this... it's a really hard situation for me.
Long work day. I went to bank and library then out to jobsite and couple hours later took helper home. DH went with big truck to other location - oh, home on the range type place where cows abound... and he got lost going out there and a tire shredded (one of the double tires on the back) and it was flapping up into the wheel well and he couldn't hear directions on his phone. I drove out to bring him back. We've been working all evening. Have to find a place to buy the tires (expensive big ones) and order and pickup supplies, etc etc etc.
Thankfully, there were still leftovers in refrigerator. Now I have to go see what I can do to help him with his sore foot. I'm thinkin' I need a raise!

Re: THIS IS A TEST TUESDAY
T-storms possible tonight and/or tomorrow. Got 2 LOL done, 1 potholder for a holiday gift done, sorted mail, purged the junk, and purged 4 magazines. THEN- I found 2 vertical standing magazine holders on my bunny room coffee table, full of scrapbooking and card-making magazines! Oh, no! WHAT am I going to DO???? I "just" purged 20 magazines last night!
I guess it's time to grab another file folder or 2, to put pulled out articles and good ideas into, for reference later, and purge the magazines.
It would give me more room, to put the magazines I am published in, into the empty magazine organizers. I need to keep those magazines, to study for work.
And of course, to save my stories.
We put away groceries and mail, after DH returned from town. I fixed weekly meds, have been working on a Costco list, and working on potholder #2, for a Dfriend, for the holidays. I'm getting tired, we're watching the baseball play-offs, and I'm slowly getting ready for tomorrow. I want to review CEO's new book, for more Home Journal ideas, look at what I have so far, and make plans to add to it.
I'm so "HAPPY" that I'm almost done with Dfriend #2's kitchen gift! This means there will be 1 more Dfriend to make potholders & a hot pad for and I'll be done with Dfriends.
I'll be able to concentrate on the grandkids. 3 of the little ones. Ages 5.5, 3.5, and 21-months-old, right now. In December, they'll be 2 months older, so the baby will be 23 months old.
Harmony, It's too bad the church has radically changed plans, which were pledged in prior to the changes. Politics, maybe? It's not fair that you're looked at as trouble-makers, IMHO. Whoever is at the helm with these changes sound like "they" are the trouble-makers in this situation. Yes, I can understand where the situation would be hard to accept and deal with.
Kathryn, You sound so busy!
Hoping you get a good rest, before you leave, too.
Enjoy!
Nancy, Why does paperwork processing to get licensing done, take so long?
It doesn't seem fair, when you get a new car, because you want to drive it immediately.
Sunny, Do you turn off your computer during T-storms?
I've "heard" it's a good idea, so I do it, but don't honestly know if it matters. Except, if there was work open on a computer, then the power suddenly went out, you could lose your work, due to the power outage on the computer. This is why I don't work during T-storms.
I don't want to lose anything suddenly.
Howdy, Elizabeth! How's the job-hunting going?
Any "nibbles" from any recent job interviews yet?
You sure are dedicated!
I ADMIRE YOU!
Blessedw2, So sorry about the mice problem.
We have a squirrel living in our attic. DH is slowly plugging up outside entry holes with wood. (S - L - O - W- L - Y!)
It took him 1.5 YEARS to plug up about 6 holes, this summer, but the little vermin still gets in!
If I wake up in the early wee a.m. hours, flush the toilet, he scolds me just terrible for waking HIM UP!
It's funny, but HE doesn't think ANYTHING about running across our bedroom ceiling, in the attic, to get out and loudly climbs down the siding and window screens!
How much rain did you get by tonight, Booksaver?
Have they said on the local weather report?
Harriet, I'm glad you're safe after that other driver incident!
Dee, That's nice about the rifle. It shows how much your Ddad loves and respects your DH. I thought it was an awfully nice gesture.
But I don't know "how" you feel about firearms though, too.
Waving at Everyone on the other pages, or who arrive after I'm gone. Have a great night!
Tomorrow's plain old Desk Day and Anti-Procrastination Day for me, I'm afraid. I hope to clean my desk and log a story, if we're not having T-storms at the time.

Re: THIS IS A TEST TUESDAY
We can drive the new to us jeep with the temp lisc for 30 days. It takes that long for the processing and transfer of the new title from Ore. They do not expect us to park it for a mo.
Hens are adjusting to their new fall schedule.
Dishes are done.
We are supposed to get wind/rain tonite tomorrow.

Re: THIS IS A TEST TUESDAY
I Tuesday Tested a new-to-me sweetener and reviewed it in H and F.
Elizabeth, find a new MPH habit. We are too fond of you to want you having to make decisions on the fly-by! They say the personal flying car is on the way, so wait for that.
((blessed)) they are awful, I agree.
Sunny, we expect some severe thunderstorms here in the middle of the night.
Sadie, thinking of you and your sons.

Signing off now until the lounge or gate tomorrow morning.
I need to pack up my computer now.
I'm looking at 5 hours sleep tonight plus whatever I get on the plane tomorrow.
