Time for me to grab a travel mug of coffee, and head to work early to look after my little foster kitten. I'll post a pic of him later - he's a cute little dude!

Conga Friday!!
I can't believe it's almost 7:30am MDT and no one has opened the village yet today! Here...let me lay out a sumptuous buffet of pastries, fruit, and assorted goodies. All are calorie-free, of course!

Re: Conga Friday!!
Bittersweet! Lovely to see you! Thanks for opening the village. I was stuck in an uncooperative shower. But I've s2s and shaved my legs. I love the showers at the gym but we aren't allowed to shave in them so I have to shower at home at least once a week.
I'm exhausted because I went to bed late and my alarm for my pill came just 7 hours after lights out. I think dh's conference in Korea is over so no more late nights due to them. NZ leaves work by 11 p.m. so they don't cost us super late nights or early morning dh just loses his Sun-Thursday evenings to them.
I can eat now so will have my breakfast (just finishing up my tea at the moment.)

Re: Conga Friday!!
Good Morning all. Thank you. Bittersweet, for opening the village today.
I'm waiting for DH to rise and shine so we can walk the dog. We are both pooped from yesterday's labors. It is free cleanup day at the transfer station (garbage dump) so he has taken one pickup load up already. Then it started to take out the 4x4's in the raised bed and do another pickup load of them. Some kind of animal keeps digging under the beds and that makes holes for the snakes so we are eliminating the beds. The rabbits would eat anything we planted there anyway.
While he was doing that, I was working in the den. I was able to clean out one closet and then DH took the doors off. This will become my sewing niche. Right now I have a temporary table in there to sort papers on. I have it set up with file folders and a pencil so I will sort right into folders and then make all the labels when I am done. For right now the folders will just be going into a box so I can work with them. Later I will put in file cabinet.
I must head out for our walk - even if DH is not up. Dakota has her legs crossed and is giving me very dirty looks.

Good morning, and thank you Bsweet! (Filling my plate and plopping down.
I've been straightening up for the dcleaning lady, and I'm having lunch out with dh and the former admin vp for the temple (and his wife) who are back in town for a wedding this weekend.
May or may not do Shabbat dinner tonight...I am making challah in the a.m. to take to the neighborhood chili cook off, and another loaf to go with mushroom barley soup tomorrow evening while we watch TN vs AL with our houseguest friends who are originally from AL.
-breakfast
-finish clean up
-meds/vitamins
-walk the ddogs

Re: Conga Friday!!
Morning y'all..
I was a busy girl yesterday...
* Washed and vacuumed the inside window sills and window slides...yuck and nasty
* Washed my back outside windows with my special magical formula and they are sparkling.
* Vacuumed and dusted the house
* Cleaned and washed porch/patio
* Cleaned and washed porch/patio furniture
* Cleaned kitchen
* Made chicken salad for lunch...sliced my finger on a chopping blade in the process, been a long time since I've wounded myself like that. Can't believe how long the dang thing bleed.
* Did two loads of laundry.
After washing my outside windows I discovered just how dirty the insides are so y'all know what that means for me today
Need to do some lawn trimming as well. As soon as I am finished here I'm headed out that way.
Washing windows with Willis was an interesting experience. He swam while I washed which really means...throw frizbee in pool from the patio, wash 1/4 window, repeat, repeat, repeat. He was a tired but happy dog later.
Twins...big game tomorrow. Those of you who have been following me on fb know I posted a mother's loving tribute to her son the other day..translation, I post a picture of me wearing an ALABABMA shirt. Remember, however that I went to TENNESSEE. Now tomorrow's game is a big deal in my house/family. And though my dexh, who also graduated from TN, has traded sides, I refuse to.
I will be a wicked mother tomorrow...I keep singing Rock top and repeating..I do believe in miracles, I do, I do, I do
Oh, did I mention the game takes place in Neyland Stadium...that's one of the largest in the country and is KNOXVILLE, Tn

Re: Conga Friday!!
Hi bittersweet, thanks for the brunch!
LOL RRose!
I'm doing a small conga around here. Had to stop to take phone call which lasted a while. Customer is griping about everything... and there's good logical reasons for everything she's complaining about. Mark on unpainted door she's been complaining about now appears to be a sight pencil mark
parts ordered by a plumber makes us wait another day or two and saves her a ton of money.
Going to work in kitchen next. Hmm, have no plan for dinner.
I did paperwork for DH, with him editing over the phone.

Thanks for the opener, Bittersweet! It's nice to "see" you again, too!
Harmony, I sure admire you for the work you do, with your DH and your home, too. It sounds very "challenging" some days.
I need to get going, but I wanted to "pop in" to say hello! I have a busy day planned today. I slept great, probably because of walking 11,000+ steps yesterday! I "wondered" why I was getting tired and achy. When I looked at the pedometer, I knew why! But it did make sleep so sweet!
Waving at Twins' Mom, Emptynester, Kathryn, Nancy, Kathryn, and those who arrive later than I do.
Have a super day, Everybody!
