I put Christmas address labels on the cards.
I need to address a few more Christmas cards, too.

I like to watch Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel. They're so sweet, have heart-warming story lines, and they are a good way to spend time, while crocheting for Christmas.

I received a Christmas music CD in the mail the other day, did not open it, and decided to give it to a pen pal, and give her adult down's syndrome DD scrunchies I've crochet. They'll be for their Christmas gifts. :D :D

On Thursday, while DH is gone from 11:55 a.m. - about 2:30 p.m., I'm "thinking about" washing the grandchildrens' afghans, wrapping them up, labeling them, and will put them back into the hope chest so that is done and I can forget about it! I have an upcoming colonoscopy, which might take place in December, so I don't want everything, like delivering gifts to 2 homes of friends, etc... to hit me in December, when I will be otherwise indisposed.

Yet another big WTG, Blessedw2! You're on a roll! You'll get everything done before they arrive! When do they arrive again and how long will their stay be for? How many are coming, too? It sounds like a good time had by all!

I "might" crochet the bath puppets tomorrow, for the 3 youngest grands, if I'm in the "mood" to do it. I actually might because we're having very cold temps, freezing, in fact, so staying indoors, near the fireplace insert fire is a good place to be, watch the birds feeding outdoors, TV and read and crochet on those last 3 Christmas gift bath puppets. ;)  :P

Ideas for holiday pot luck meals:

Veggie cups instead of a tray or salad: 1-2 tablespoons of dip or ranch dressing in the bottom of a clear disposable cup, then put in raw veggies like 2 cherry tomatoes on a frilled toothpick, carrot and celery spears, cucumber slice.

Tortilla spirals: Flour tortilla spread with cream cheese, or pimento spread, or deli meat & cheese. Roll up, slice into small rounds.

I will suggest these also for the library's Fancy Nancy Tea Party in January.

Got out holiday cards forgot I had stocked up last yr.
put on the Christmas quilt and red & green calico bears. Got out santa hat.

I have Hanakuah cards! I will look for blue and white candy canes or purple and white huckleberry ones straight for the Hanakuah basket with blue and white dish cloths, gold foil covered choclate 'coins' , nixed the blueberry muffins bc some are not glutun tolerant.

Got the huckleberry candy sticks.

A Daisey Duck doll for the toddler that comes bc she feels bad when one toy has to stay home at here mom's house. This one will be for here. She has one at her granny's too.

Got ham and free sm. Turkey, box of stuffing with it for holiday season. Some food for food bank drives this yr. Some events give a discount on event tickets with food donation that we attend like a craft fair antique show etc.

I got some cup cake liners in blue and silver for the Hanukkah basket. Found blue small blue stockings for $ for dgds! I had totally forgotten about them! Yea for success!

I need to do up more smaller size hats and scarves the ones I did up last yr. Seem to have dissappeared. Maybe in school colors if I have them on hand scarves will go on next years activity list.
