I guess I layer more than I considered. I'm always doing multiple things at once. Washer going and crock pot going while I'm tackling the paperwork. I tidy the kitchen or do dishes while I'm waiting for my coffee to heat in the microwave... and I try to do all my errands at the same time. Sometimes, though, I have to step back and focus on one thing and that thing gets done successfully and faster.

One reason not having phone reception is annoying is because I have to stop all work and sit outside (it's my cell too, Harriet) and I used to put it on speaker and keep on working...

We are mid 40's here. I know my poor veggies aren't liking this at all. I have little green peppers and green beans and a couple little tomatoes growing. Brrrrrr!

I did get the house swept, but not mopped. Lost my mojo. Kept having to stop to do things for DH in the office. Tonight after he tried, I had to come fix our sound........which wasn't broken anyway. I think he just wasn't clicking on the little mute/unmute x beside the speaker under videos. All I can figure, it's working fine for me!

And in his effort to fix a couple things he installed a program I know is incompatible and I had to get that out. It's really hard sharing a computer ike this.

Sadie, the new furniture sounds nice! Our leather stuff is wearing out, but it is still comfortable and we fixed the recliner foot part, so I guess we'll put up with it a little longer.

Wonder where FelineFriend has been?

Just a quick check-in before I let dogs out for the last time this evening and turn out the lights. Temps didn't warm up a lot today; it's 52* now and supposed to go down to 40* tonight. The house has a chill in the air! Kept warm with coffee and hot soup today.

I have been working down through the layers on my desk today. I needed to pay some bills and then a stack of odd mail etc. Then I put a stack of medical papers from Medicare and Ins. Co. and RX papers in order ready to file away. Taking care of dh's medical stuff feels almost like a full time job!

Lucy, I saw your post on W-M Savings and signed up, logged in a few receipts --- we shall see what happens!

Dee, you have much to be proud of your ddil! She looked so happy in the picture.

Nancy, I think Toddler N is cute also!

Dh has five different kinds of cookies made so far. Baking music today was holiday music with L. Pavarotti.

There was more I wanted to say, but I can't remember what it was now; guess I should call it a night! The warm covers will feel good!
