   ACK!!!

I will not be doing my reports that are due tomorrow, because changes still have not been deployed to the proper place. I have been waiting on this for a week!!! I was supposed to be able to demo these reports LAST THURSDAY. The deployment wasn't complete, so I did the demo on the test server. We told the people who received the demo that it would be Tuesday. I can do it tomorrow, it should not be a problem, UNLESS IT'S NOT DEPLOYED TODAY!!!
NOT happy. NOT able to Move It at payroll on Monday.

I need to add wrapping to my list.

I don't have a lot to wrap, thankfully.

Dh is working on the set list now. I'm on the treadmill since I was finally taking time to cuop.

First load of laundry is done and folded. Second just buzzed so I need to hang that to dry.

Glad to see Lucylee at the doctor.

Moving slowly.
- tutored
- had lunch
- QT
- finalized groc. list
- email to some of the moms group leaders w/ an update re: where we're at with child care staff

Next:
- groc. store
- pet store
- put everything away

I've decided I'm not going to bother with a hold mail this time since there will only be 2 days worth, and someone will be coming to our house anyway to do pet care.

Yes, also glad to see lucylee at the Dr.'s office.

Out of the doctor's office @ noon... 2 hours, 15 minutes. I have 3 rx's and he mostly thinks it is sinus related, said my lungs sounded okay so far, but better to catch it before it spreads that way.
Talked about bowel concerns for a bit, and he said yes, eventually I should "bite the bullet" and have the colonoscopy, but he assured me he would not force me to have one without doing blood work and taking a stool sample first. Said it was good I was taking the probiotic, especially w/the antibiotic he gave me, and said to watch caffiene intack and to remember that a high carb diet could contribute to these problems I'm having.

Got my rx's filled, went to the bank, ate lunch, and now I'm going to do like my mom advised and take a nap. I probably slept about 4 hours last night.
Tomorrow is another day.

Hello DOVE and all!

Sheets changed and 1 lol done. Will touch up the housecleaning today and concentrate on groceries and cooking plans tomorrow. DH is finally caulking in bathroom before family arrives. They are sloppy and I told him no one was using that shower unless he got that done! My irritation is showing. Have waited over a month for him to hook up sink in there. He tries, but he is no plumber. Hoping we don't have to get the real plumber here on Christmas Eve like last year. I have a bad attitude today. Sorry!

Would love to stop and read my library book today! Don't see that happening, though...

so happy that it wasn't pneumonia d lucy!

hi elly

I am heading to the airport (a little late) - they should call soon
I have 3 hot spots that are hiding spots. 3 season room where extra Christmas things are that I haven't done, basement - I have misc. empty boxes that should be put away and the dogs room/laundry room has not been done. Frustrated by that but my floors are clean again, my bathrooms are clean again, presents wrapped except one, shower done, gas on car filled, dd younger made up the beds for the girls, house looks nice except for hiding rooms. House looks inviting - as long as we don't go into those areas. Thank Goodness for painting the rooms and cleaning the walls.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Finally got those 3 done. It is almost 4 pm. Not sure now if I'm going jogging with dh or not. I need to do bunny care before it gets dark, and I don't know if there will also be time for a jog before it gets dark. . .

So glad your home is clean and inviting, blessed!

Off to care for Bunny. Yes - that is the rabbit's name, apparently.

Molly's Mom (remember her?) phoned and we chatted for ages, the first time in over 18 months.

I got the centrepiece done while chatting with her. Laundry is done for today, although there'll be another load tomorrow.

We practiced Little Drummer Boy and Silent Night in Italian. Hope they drown us out! We've never sung for a nursing home before (maybe once or twice when mom was in one) so dh is expecting them to sing along on the familiar verses. I'm not sure that will happen.

Dh is on the phone with Bose trying to get our sound system working. It starts up ok and then jumps on the wrong network and stops dead. We are trying to get it to forget the second network but even a factory reset didn't work.

Some tidying has also happened. All the cards are now up, I'm displaying the horizontal ones in the louver door slots and the vertical cards are stapled to ribbons that hang (by magnets) the archway between the living and dining rooms. We have lots of louver doors so any further cards that arrive, regardless of orientation will be put in those.

Bit by bit, the place is looking better.

Next up, either start dinner or set the table.

Got a mani/pedi and a haircut!! Now I am personally ready. I just need to finish wrapping gifts. I think I will forget baking cookies.

When I go and get my hair washed and dried and straightened, it costs $45. Today I went to the same place and having it washed, cut, dried and straightened cost $48. Bizarre! My hair is very long and I had 2 inches taken off straight across the bottom.

Wayne just called and he will be leaving work shortly. I know I won't get back on here tonight. (He is a "gamer" and plays for a few hours every night to help unwind.)

See you all tomorrow.
