How lucky we are to have each other Monday

As you know I love Mondays - I didn't when I was younger - I used to think it was the end of fun from my weekend; but now, I see Monday as a wonderful beginning - prepping for weekend ahead. Things done means I can have fun - (so corny - but I couldn't resist ).

The other day when our site was off-line I missed it terribly - not just for the ability to keep track of what I was doing but being able to work with all of you. I missed being able to enjoy starting my morning cheerfully and purposefully. So, today I am celebrating that we can all be together again! What a great way to start our week - joyous!

Good morning blessed! It is always wonderful to see you here with your wonderful positive attitude! Working cheerfully and purposefully - I like that.

I got my grocery shopping for the week done yesterday, which feels really good right now! I have something (or 2 things) going on every morning this week, plus teaching every afternoon - I just wasn't seeing that large errand happening easily early this week.

I'm enjoying a later start this a.m. since dd16 doesn't have school today. I'm up, have had my first mug of tea, have checked emails (nothing but junk emails), let dogs out and let them back in. I'm getting ready to dive into my a.m. routine now. Tutee R will be here at 10 to be tutored. Then, I need to prep for class and teach this afternoon. Maybe I'll get to the gym after class. Dinner is easy, leftover baked pasta, dinner rolls, and green salad.

Hi everyone!

I am 1/3 of the way through the dish pile from the weekend. To be fair, Wayne did a sinkful on Saturday. I usually do the dishes at around 4. Today I want them almost all finished before I go out.

I have 4 baskets of clean clothes to put away before 5 p.m.

I need to drive up to Brampton with some work paperwork and be home before 5.

On Mondays and Fridays, I schedule my late afternoon so that the dishes are done before 5 and I brush my teeth for the second time of the day just in time for a welcome home kiss. <3

We went to Niagara Falls New York on Saturday. Wayne bought me a floor stand so I could do cross stitch more easily. I used to have one 20 years ago.

Time to get moving and make the bed. No naps today.

I'm so lethargic these days.

Last night I sat and scrolled through the viewing options on my bluray player. All evening. I think I needed downtime because of the party and the stress of being with new strangers.

Didn't turn out the light until almost midnight so am exhausted this morning.

I have made the bed up with fresh sheets and just flipped the washed sheets to the dryer. I also refilled the radiator pans with water. I had my lemon and hot water but not my tea and chocolate. I'm not sure if this new morning routine is just slowing me down more. I suspect it is the late bedtimes. I do not like them.

I've been really ill. Now I have a UTI that feels worse than I ever remember one feeling. I waited the weekend before going anywhere because last time I had a UTI I got medicines, then 2-3 weeks later when I felt ill again he said it didn't show anything wrong...so I just wasn't sure, until I couldn't stand the pain. My dr. and the nurse assistant both too busy to see me. I was not happy. Went to the walk-in clinic where I got less than perfect care. Dr. told me when I questioned his medicine choice, that I need to know what I can take and what I can't. I thought that's what I was paying him for.

Last time I was there the dr. prescribed something another dr. had since told me was contraindicated with my history. Great. I did take that receipt/label and tell him today not to give me that one. He acted like I was his first patient out of med school. Said to call my specialist and make sure what he prescribed was ok. Well, it's a holiday here and that office wasn't taking any calls.... so I looked at it in the computer.... with my stethescope around my neck... and decided to go for it.

DH is at the pharmacy now picking it up. It's supposed to take care of the uti and the gunk in my lungs.

OK sorry for the long story. I've helped DH get out of the house with a chore list. Between the 2 of us we got chilli in the crock pot for dinner. I hand washed a couple dishes/pans and loaded dishwasher, now on my way back to bed.

d harmony have they tested your bacteria levels etc.? hope you start feeling better.. don't let the doctor off... if you are not feeling well in a day or two .... don't be afraid to call them with your concerns and make another appointment. ((feel better))

(((Harmony))) I HATE that you now have an UTI, along with the lingering influenza. I hope this RX will get you well, sooner than later. You have really been hit with a double whammy this time. Take care and get lots of rest.
