Happy Anniversary D Mr. and Mrs. Lilac!!!

Good morning Dee and everyone. have a good day. We woke up late... I slept 11 hours... WHAT!!! dd younger and I will take the train today.

It is time for me to be thinking about what I would like to accomplish today. Realized late last night that dh is all out of his Lasix. Luckily he has one refill left at the local pharmacy. Dr. was trying him on 60mg a day rather than the 40mg. Will get that filled today. Also need to think about getting our request for new license plate filled out and in the mail today. Thought (thinking wrong) they ran out March 31st but no, it's March First! He wants to get the volunteer firefighter plate -both because we like it and it's white background. We both quite dislike NY's 'pumpkin' colored plates and they won't go well with the red velvet color of our car. Our present plates are white and we could renew them, but they're getting rather old and a little beat -against a new car.

BS is only 84 and I really feel the need to eat -so bbl.

I was able to sleep until just before hubby's alarm went off today having the roo in the in closed outdoor extenstion alowed me to sleep yea! Yea! The hens were calmer after I did that too.

Did not do any baking out of cookies h can have cake muffins or something else.

Happy that I got the sweater zipper in learned quite a bit doing this one.

Happy anniversary!!

Hi everyone!

I went to bed at 8 last night. I ended up trying on numerous pairs of shoes yesterday. I even tried to walk in stilettos. NO WAY am I wearing those.

So far today the dishes are soaking in the sink. I have a Dr. apt this morning for a "meet and greet" type first appointment.

Dee In Ontario you can by replacement plates when your current ones get too old. We have custom plates that were beat up (there was a dent from dfs's car bumper when he rear-ended ds, for example) and dh got a new set when we bought the new car. Expensive, but less than an all new specialty plate.

I'm up. Snow storm coming today and we have to drive out to the village for choir practice. Coming home will be the only hard part since it will be the beginning of rush hour too.

Bed is made, room tidied, dishwasher empties, grapefruit consumed, tea and chocolate almost done. I'm doing green tea this week. I had gone off it after the antibiotic was over at the end of November but decided to restart it because I was getting bored with my regular tea. It makes a nice change.

Got all sorts of ideas for the sermon last night. They are captured on a pad of paper.

We are very cold in our bedroom and I pointed out to dh that the room is much warmer than when we were in the house (68 compared to 60.) Yet we have an extra blanket and I put my fleece robe over the bed as well. It occurred to me it might be the setting of the waterbed temperature! At the house the bed was warm but the room was cool. Here it seems to be the reverse. Since we set the bed during the summer, we probably didn't notice how cool it was compared to before. It is a new heater so we just guessed at the setting.

At least the humidity was higher last night. I had both humidifiers on and got it up to 37%. I'd wake up in the night and note my nose wasn't sore so knew it was high enough, unlike the night before when it was only 31% and I woke with a dry nose and sore throat. Am very much looking forward to being somewhere with more humidity.

Breakfast is done and coffee gone. Guess it's time to get busy and do something. Need to go over minutes from our Annual Meeting on Sunday -have 3 sets of notes to combine. In case you're wondering -that's not always very easy.

Have to look up a NY safe driving course online for dh. If he takes it, submits it to our insurance company we'll save 10% on our insurance. Since our one car is over $1,400 a year, that would be significant.

Still coughing that congested cough. Wondering if I set up the humidifier if that would help any, Kathryn. It's a thought. Did do better through the night though.

Off I go to accomplish computer tasks.

Thank you for the anniversary wishes. 44 years! It just does not seem possible. My dh put the sweetest message to me on FB. We are going out to eat tonight.

I need to color my hair this morning.

Today it is to be in the 50's and then will be in the 30's with a chance for snow on Saturday.

I have been missing MT. I am hoping they are just busy and no one is under the weather.

Just signed dh up for the New York State driving course. That took a while and unbeknownst to me -it (of course) has a fee. But it will save more than the $24.95 fee over 3 years. Should save at least $140/year for that 3 years. He does have to have one hour dedicated time at a stint though to complete the course. It's a 6-hour course online and won't let one go to the next segment until that hour's up. It also has to be completed in 30 days. So I'm sure it'll be up to me to 'remind' him to go to 'class'.

Bulletin is finished for Sunday. All that I have left to do is the Children's time, the sermon, the prayers and the blessing. The last hymn has lots of great words to incorporate into the blessing. I'm holding off on sending the bulletin until I confirm from the choir director there are only 3 hymns plus an anthem and not four hymns as there were in the example sent to me.

Rather pleased with my progress so far. Deadlines are motivators. Of course, I'm not dressed, nor have I eaten breakfast!
