Just partly updated the off-site SHE email list. Elizabeth and Felinefriend and the two SHEs who renamed themselves were added to the list. I took Indiana and Mr. Indiana off.

I'll be shutting us down in a moment. I'll send an email out first from this system and then there are delays bringing the boards back up, I'll communicate via the SHEsOrganized gmail account.

See you all later!

Sigh.

Getting the boards moved won't be a Wow! for today.

Dh was starting to gasp, say "uhoh" or sigh too many times so we decided to stop for today and try again tomorrow.

The support people were a hoot. The first one didn't know what we meant by tilde (the ~ character, what do you call that in the US?) and the second one flat out told dh that what dh wanted him to do (go to the home page we had created) was impossible since computers don't route to web pages that way and then was flabbergasted when he could see the home page. Unfortunately, getting him to the home page wasn't the problem and I'm not sure we ever asked the question. Dh then pointed to the evidence of a problem but he had no solutions since we shouldn't have been able to do what we did in the first place.

Except, obviously, we can. What we can't do is the simple stuff.

I'm having a hot day. 38c by one thermometer, 35c by another. If I was wise I'd have relocated to somewhere cooler. Head is ready to explode.
Summer is having a blast in autumn. I've known it to be hideously hot in the week before Easter, in April I think.

Ahhhh. big job Kathryn and Ken. Hope it all SO relocation goes smoothly.

(((Twins and ddog)))
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.

Will check in while I can.

Dh had not heard from the ENT's office by 3 pm so he called them. They had just checked with our local hospital where the tests were done and the results aren't in yet. I am praying that doesn't mean it is bad news.

The carpet guy did not arrive until 11. He got the basement bedroom finished and the padding down with the carpet laying on it in our room. So dh will sleep downstairs in a recliner and I will be upstairs on the sofa. Dh's recliner is actually 1 of 3 recliners in our theater setting. We have the other 2 in the bedroom that has new carpet, plus his computer desk, etc. In the morning we will move my computer, the TV and his recliner in the bedroom and the rest of the basement will be ready to carpet. As much as I want to get this house put back together tomorrow night, it probably won't get done. It is dh's birthday and I hate to make his work all evening, after spending the afternoon getting our room back together.

When I got this new bridge several weeks ago I wasn't happy with it, but didn't complain because I thought this was the way it was suppose to be. Today the business manager called and said that the dentist wasn't happy with that bridge and wanted me to come in for new impressions for a replacement. So I went in this afternoon. They did have to deaden that side of my mouth because that permanent bridge was on there to be permanent and it didn't want to come off.

Thank you Kathryn and Ken for all the site work that you do. It is appreciated.

Yes -- much thanks to Kathryn and Ken for keeping us together and making everything work so smoothly! Hope things go better for y'all tomorrow!

New tally: 14 calls w/dmom. Sigh.
Tomorrow is another day.
