I finished that round and also did a pooper scoop pick up round. I don't know when dh is starting the burgers....he has been fiddling with putting college stickers on his car - one for his college, one for mine, one for each of kids. Isn't it funny how their priorities are so different sometimes? He did put together a wind vane type of thing that he liked at Costco last week and got it into the back yard. I don't like the place he put it, but one can't win all of them, huh?
I am going to gently ask about the burgers, and refill meds containers and perhaps work on p.m. routines. No walks for ddogs these days, sad.

Re: Sunny Sunday
Waving from Sunny Monday.
I just sent a pm to FF, hoping her settings will allow email notice of it to get to her and she can follow the links back.
The sun is almost halfway back to you. I'm following its progress as it increasingly shines in from the north.
A load of washing is underway.
I need organise my breakfast.
Great to hear the Cruising News.

Re: Sunny Sunday
lucylee, I just picked up salads for supper from W endys. As I was eating I was thinking about the Cinderella movie and wondered if your dh would take you. Both dds, both dgd18, the 2 little girls and I were to go see Cinderella together. Dd1 said that dgd18 had planned to take the 2 little girls yesterday, if they were good. We don't know if they went or not. Dd2 will be home this evening. Dd1 didn't think that the little girls would want to see it again, but I bet they would. Anyway some or all of us will be going in a few days. They are on spring break.
Dd2 is getting the boys back on Wednesday. Dgs10 will be 11 on the 20th. She plans to take all 5 kids and dgd18's boyfriend and leave Thursday and come home Saturday night, for a spring break trip for them. So she will have dgs10's family birthday party on Wednesday.
Dove, it's so nice to see your here.
Blessed, I'm glad you are feeling well enough to check in.
Sunny, great job getting a jump on yardwork.
Kathryn, I'm enjoying your cruise through osmosis.
Twins, I've been hungry for grilled burgers.
Harriet, several times I have had multiple posts and at that time there was an edit button to use. Don't know if it's still there or not.
I 'm with everyone else, missing MT and wondering about FF.
I meant to say to Harmony, yesterday that I love Palm trees and wish they would grow in Kansas.
Thank you Lynlee, for sending the pm to FF.

Re: Sunny Sunday
I sent a PM to FF as well as an email (sent that a day or 2 ago).
I'm more than ready to hit the hay. I'm really tired for some reason -and I slept quite well last night too. Dh is going to work with dsonil tomorrow to see if he can find the electrical problem with a machine that nobody can seem to figure out the problem. He's hoping his ol' reputation as a 'trouble shooter' holds him in good stead.
I plan to spend my time (alone) taking care of making out lists for dh, updating my American express credit card and all the things that are auto-billed to that and try to get our taxes done. That's a mighty big list for me for one day.
I've continued on working on the office bit by bit. That's shaping up nicely. DD put the finishing touches on their craft/art room tonight and that looks fabulous!
Gotta hit the hay. Nighters............

Re: Sunny Sunday
Yes, I hope all is well with FF and MT. . . . .
Back from dinner at S and R's tonight. It was nice for them to host! A little easier for them too with busy baby J running around.
After church, we attended a catered (very yummy!) Indian lunch at our church while a pastor recounted what he found during a recent trip to India. We are partnering with some organizations that work to free women from certain slave trades, educate them, and provide them honest work. It was inspiring to hear, and I'm glad we're giving $$ and working on relationships with people in these organizations.
I took a nap this afternoon. I've just been SO tired. It seems the more I rest, the more tired I feel. dh thinks it is b/c of churning over church stuff. Maybe. . .. . . He's tired too.
Dd16 quipped this morning, "After we celebrate pi day, we get to celebrate the Ides of March." While facebook was overflowing with pi day comments, I haven't seen a single Ides of March reference today. Why is pi day more celebrated than the Ides of March anyway? Maybe it's because the Ides of March has a rather inglorious history. Maybe we are becoming a culture that values math and technology over literary/historical knowledge. Maybe we just hold the Greeks in higher regard than the Romans? LOL!
It is 9:40 pm. Before I go to bed, I need to:
- fold and pa load of laundry
- start load of darks; switch them to the dryer
- grade quiz
- post weekly grades
- work on Hebrew translation. It is hopeless at this point. I won't get enough translation work done for class tomorrow. It's OK, though; others will be happy to translate for me.

Lilac, yep, you can do it yourself if you realize it happened, and not even wait for a moderator. There is a delete and an edit button. Today I would hit delete for a member's duplicate posts, and begin the wait. Very long waits until I could move on to the next post, and then long waits navigating away to another page, which is unusual. I think the duplicate posts grow more likely when the board is slow, because the poster assumes they didn't submit correctly when nothing is happening, and then submits again. That's definitely happened to me before. Things seem to be humming along at a normal speed now - very pleased about that.
It was just dd and me leading singing today. Even our bass wasn't there this time. I feel somewhat self-conscious about this, but if we are the only ones who show up, that's the way it is. Everyone says it's nice, and we are complimented, but I'm keenly aware that we don't meet previous standards of the paid music director who moved away - she was a magnificent soprano. Dd confided in me that she feels the pianist is always mad at her. I don't believe this is the case at all, but there is some stress in trying to manage without others, and the pianist is now our only paid music staffer, so feels responsibility.
Dd16's young man came to visit today. Although it gave us some impetus to straighten the house, it also cut into the preparation time for the upcoming week. HRH is tolerating this.

Harriet, you are right. It was the delete button I was thinking of, because we have always had an edit button.
