Out like a Lamb - Tuesday
March goes out like a lamb (hopefully!) today; what end-of-the month or end-of-the quarter jobs do you have to get ready for the month of April and the rest of the week?

Re: Out like a Lamb - Tuesday
Today feels like Monday for me after being "off" yesterday. Need to get ready right now to get dMacs to PT in an hour, then later I have body work aka as massage. Otherwise, need to get ready for the rest of the week, do desk day, and generally get back to whatever is normal.
The body work will be much appreciated by my achy body - the long day and lots of walking on Sunday left my legs and back feeling it. Tomorrow I get in the car to visit dsis so any back work in advance of the day is good.

Re: Out like a Lamb - Tuesday
Wow, is it already the last day of March?
Nodding my head in agreement. Funny how we're in synch on this, Twins. That sounds like a very interesting movie! How was the violence level?
With Monday tutoring switched to today and subbing for my supervisor tomorrow morning, I have my regular work schedule hours - with one less day this week. Add to that Wed. dinner, Thursday services, hosting small group Saturday (the kids wanted to come here and do an Easter egg hunt like last year), and then getting ready for Easter - goodies for the family and then a special meal for all, and I have quite a week ahead of me. I'm already playing time slot tetris with basic errands, like the groc. store. When can I fit in a trip?
We got home safely last night around 10 pm. Of course, we had trouble getting to bed at a decent time, so it was about midnight before we did that.
I'm tutoring tutee R 10:50 - 11:50 this morning. I also need to go in to work early, so I will have 20 - 30 minutes after she leaves before I need to leave. I'd like to leave at 12:20. Before I tutor her, I need to:
- edit her 2 essays
- look over her material
- finish syllabus for a class; I didn't have all the necessary materials with me on our trip to do it then
- menu plan and groc. list made
If I get those 3 done by 9:15, I'll go to the groc. store.
It would be nice to get the a.m. routine done as much as possible too.
I prepped for one of my classes on the plane yesterday but will look over the plans before class today. I can't prep for the other class b/c I had to leave the book at the school for the subs; there is no extra book. My supervisor has ordered an extra, but it had not yet arrived by last Friday.
Done:
- said good bye to dd16
- first mug of tea
- dogs out; dogs in
- checked emails; sent one off - moms group
- QT
Next:
- s2s
- tackle R's 2 essays
- review plans and material for tutoring R today

Re: Out like a Lamb - Tuesday
Spent about 5 hours on the road yesterday (dentist visit for dd to get her permanent bridge in New Port Richey; an hour to db/dsil's, hour and 3/4 home). Had a great visit with db/dsisil and dniece, her dh and dgnephew arrived around 4 pm. Visited with them for about an hour. So good to see them all. Dniece & family head back north on Saturday -back to work and school. DD did arrange to have dgnephew to come to the campground once in a while this summer to 'hang out' with dgs10. DGnephew is 12 I think.
Today dd has to take dsonil's VW in for service but I'm staying home and doing various putsy things. Really want to complete the council minutes from March (for April's meeting) done and sent off to our secretary. That would catch me up on church stuff thus far for 2015. And that puts me ahead of other years.
Tomorrow we're going to visit a recently widowed friend in Bradenton and are coming back home on Thursday.
Off I go to 'putter'.

Re: Out like a Lamb - Tuesday
I am in "putting out fire" mode. And close to exhausted so my thinker isn't working at a good level.
Yesterday LO ran fever and had stomach issues (both ends). I found myself running from here/there with the fellas doing the bathroom construction, keeping DH meals prepared/served on time for his diabetics and LO & DGD3 care.
My sleep continues to come in small portions. Last night LO had an accident when he didn't make it to the bathroom in time. Cleaned that up around 10pm. DH work at MPB until he was exhausted arriving home somewhere close to midnight. I got up and visited with him a few minutes. Then got back up when DD came and picked DGD3 up around 2am (after DD got off work). I got up and started daily cards at 5am and visited my colorist before the workmen arrived at 7am.
I have called LO in sick to school and txt with his teacher. Bathroom weekly cards are underway.
I have a dentist appt this morning that has been postponed once already. DH said he would come home and stay with LO for a couple hours so I can keep this dentist appointment.
Menu plan for today -
B: Muffins
L: Everything but the Kitchen sink green salad salad, Broiled Tilapia Parmesan
D: Spaghetti & meatsauce

Re: Out like a Lamb - Tuesday
Sounds like a plan, Lady M. (((LO))) hope he's better by this afternoon.
BTW a little 'tip' I learned yesterday (& probably some of you already know it). While we were at DB's, he was peeling eggs. DD mentioned that she 'bet' she could peel them faster: She took a plastic cup (with it's lid), put a little water in, then the boiled egg, and shook it a few seconds. The shell came right off. It must break that seal between the membrane/shell/egg.
They did the rest of the eggs in record time. I'll never dread peeling eggs again. I see more egg/olive salad and deviled eggs in our future.

Re: Out like a Lamb - Tuesday
Waving to all, dMacs did a good job at PT. I'd say he is back to normal after his experience with adding a medication a couple of weeks ago. I may try again with just 1/2 a dose and see if we get the same effect. Likewise, gave Moses 1/2 a dose of the prednisone that he was taking, will watch him carefully. Assuming it was prednisone that upset his tummy so, it took until the third dose for him to start throwing up.
Need to be at body work in about 30 min. I hate leaving the house open but Moses is sleeping outside on the patio and I hate to make him move inside.

Re: Out like a Lamb - Tuesday
Good Morning! Hard to believe that 1/4 of the year is over already! We've had lovely spring weather these past few days; temp is 71* just now. Makes for nice sleeping weather.
Welcome to Molly's Nana!
((LO)) --- hope he feels better soon. You too, Harriet --- continue to feel well again. ((MT)), hope your toe doesn't hurt too much! ((Blessed)), take it a little at a time, you will be back on track soon!
Sounds like Twins' Mom & Dad and Helia and dh had nice trips this past weekend. I've enjoyed reading about your travels as well as Kathryn's descriptions of her travels also. And, yes, I agree with your opinion on giving to others in need!
I need to stay on focus this week. I have four days to finish my preparations for dfam#3's visit. Found out Sunday evening when talking with dgd17 that they will be leaving Friday afternoon (instead of Fri. midnight) and will be arriving sometime Sat. am. It is basically a 16 hour trip from VA to FL, so I want to be ready by Friday evening at the latest! So this is what needs to be done...not in any particular order:
...routine weekly cleaning
...moving some furniture around to accommodate a roll away bed
...move items stored in chest of drawers to free space for travelers clothes (so they don't have to live out of suitcases for the week -- keeping their spaces neater)
...write grocery list
...shopping trip to supply refrigerator and pantry with dfamily's favorite eats
...have games etc. handy for evening entertainment
...fresh linens on guest beds
...what else???
... I think this list will grow
...need to add in routine dailies like desk day, brushing ddogs again (they are still shedding profusely), laundry
Whew....I better get started >>>>>>
