Also a good dental report here! No cavities, and gums in good shape (the bigger worry here.)
bw2, I saw your post in J&C, are you using an iPhone app?
If we could just continue this sunny weather for more than a day or two, I sure would feel a lot better. We have rain coming in tomorrow night again.
The yard guy really did not do a good job. The grass was very tall and wet and it looks terrible, bumpy with some long patches sticking up. I might ask dh to show me how to operate the lawn mower and go over it myself tomorrow (if he doesn't tonight.) I've never done the yard - in my family it was always a man's job - but the neighbor across the street who is older than I am cuts their yard.
I think I am going to cut myself some slack and stamp awhile now.

Re: TYPICAL TUESDAY
Twins: my dad had three girls so we all had to mow the lawn at one point or another. I did ours when we lived in the city but when we moved to the country, it was too much for my allergies and I started to get asthma attacks.
I also learned how to remove the air filter and unstick the carburetor valve on his Dodge Dart (and later my Dodge Aspen.) If you went around a left turn too fast when the car wasn't fully warmed up, it would stall out and I'd have to close the valve to get the car restarted. Don't miss those days but because I could do that, changing my cabin air filter today was easy (and saves me paying some man $20 to do the work.)
The vacuuming and dusting is done (except office), the bathroom floors washed (except the office bathroom - just remembered it isn't done.) Emptied the shredder. Tomorrow I'll work on deep cleaning the office which needs to be done. I need to get rid of stuff and there's still 3 boxes in there that need going through.
I've done two loads of laundry and third is spinning now (it will be hung up to dry.) The dishwasher is done and the door open so they'll be dry by morning.
Didn't get to bathroom cleaning because my music friend called to chat. She's up for more surgery, a large fibroid this time. They want to shrink it first. Apparently it first showed up on scans over 2 years ago (she gets scans all the time for her kidneys) but she wasn't told. It has grown 5x in the past 2 years, likely because she was put on HRT and the estrogen fed it. Her urologist suspects she'll end up with a full hysterectomy but her gynecologist want to try and shrink it with cancer drugs first. Which seems odd when he keeps saying there's almost no chance it is cancerous and he hasn't even read her scan yet. He says he doesn't need to, he can tell all he needs to know by palpating her abdomen. She's rather skeptical.
So it has been a very productive day. Will finish reading my book now. Only about 15 minutes left in that.

Re: TYPICAL TUESDAY
Not a typical Tuesday at all here. I was supposed to go in to work later than usual, but got a call to come in as soon as I could since the manager called in sick. So we played catch up all day. Oh well. Now I will have the next two days off.
Yay for good dental checkups and for weight loss.
Have a good night.
