Construction stopped for lunch early so I've kept on working instead of showering. Much more progress has been made on the expenses. And the irritating $10/month fax service charge has been changed to annual pay so there will only be three entries for that next year and one the year after that. Much more manageable.

I need to have my lunch now too since I'm hungry. Would rather keep working in the peace and quiet but can't wait any longer.

So very sad for you Twins. And all of us too. Sending hugs your way - ((())). It sounds like Macs so missed his buddy that his time came more quickly. Think of them together romping and playing.

(Twins) both in one week, it's almost too much to think about. Your house will seem so empty.
:(

I'm not making much progress. Got the house about half way vacuumed and throw rugs washed and hanging outside to dry. Picked up a bunch of DH's stuff he leaves around. He empties is pockets all over the kitchen counter but never takes the stuff back out to the truck. There must have been 20 little pencils in a pile...

Stopped to take helpers and trucks out to next jobsite... and now I'm having lunch, having completely forgot about breakfast.

Kathryn, how many more days of noise?

Thank you all. The only redemption to this scenario is that we have known this was coming in both cases. Vet said again Monday that he would have lost several bets on Macs' longevity. He has lived far longer than he might have otherwise. He has such a strong will and has been physically strong as well. Also, I am away next week and all of us the week after that so we don't have to worry about them while away.

Macs threw up some of the little bit he ate this morning.

I started challah in the breadmaker and may make two batches today, dividing the first between the vet and the neighbor who looked after macs yesterday. Also had to go to grocery for quick trip.

I took a benyrdryl to sleep last night. Was the only way.

Oh, (((((Twins))))), Kathryn's right -no words. Just know we feel the pain you're feeling. This has truly been the 'week that was' for you. Joys and sorrows all piled into one. Will be thinking of you all today.

Oh, ((Twins)), I'm so very sorry. Yes, I agree with others - there are no words.
Congratulations on dd's graduation and growing up! I'm excited for her trip!!

My day:
- up
- QT
- s2s and self-care
- WW; down 0.4 lbs - but I was wearing jean capris rather than jean pants, so I feel that could explain the small loss.
- prepped for class
- made my syllabus
- several emails: emailed syllabus to my supervisor, moms group business
- ran out the door to tutor A
- got texts at the library that he can't make it today. Should have checked earlier.
- drove back home
- had a small snack
- put a few things away; this house badly needs a good tidying, but I can't do that now.

I need to leave. .. .I'm going to walk to work. It is hot outside, 85* and sunny.

Ds and dd19 should be home sometime today.

We're eating at home tonight since dh and I went out to eat the last 2 nights. We're making chicken cacciatore over rice, salad, bread.

Harmony: no idea. The construction took 3 months last year. Not sure if this is as ambitious a project (last year it was renovation of the roof of the garage plus installation of a new boiler room and new boilers.)

I'm s2s and have had my lunch. Took my second dose of ibuprofen. My left calf and ankle are quite swollen, just like when I was on the ship. That started two days ago, just so I was wondering (I noted about two weeks after the trip, my two ankles were back to being the same size.) Two nights ago, I noted my left ankle was starting to look a bit larger. Today it is all puffy and the skin is tight on my shin.

I didn't ice or elevate yesterday so wonder if that's what triggered it. It is also a lot hotter out now, into the 80s. I'm elevating and icing now.
